CHAPTER 35

The girl ran to the elevator, and the elevator door opened. Vania got into the elevator and pressed the button to close the elevator several times, Vania could see Julian was getting closer, and it was too late for her to get out of the elevator and run to the emergency stairs. Julian held down the elevator door with both hands, his eyes staring furiously at Vania

"Sy little girl, you tricked me" a scary smile fell on Julian's face, which made some people in the elevator shudder in horror. Vania swallowed her saliva looking at that smile

"I have to go, you're acting weird"

"I'm just trying to explain to you how I feel"

"Sir, I'm sure you're crazy"

"Yes, I'm crazy because of you. Come here" Julian pulled Vania's hand out of the elevator door. Vania restrains herself and tries to release Julian's handrails, holding the handle on the elevator attached to the wall in the elevator

"I don't want to, you're acting weird. Help me" Vania looked at a man wearing a hotel uniform who was in the elevator.The man was surprised for a moment and tried to mediate the quarrel of Vania and Julian

"Sir, this woman does not want to come with you" said the man. Julian stared furiously at the man. Realizing who was in front of him the man was silent and lowered his face Julian turned his head back towards Vania, fine if this girl insisted on staying in the elevator.

"You're all out" Julian ordered, which the man and some of the people in the elevator obeyed. Vania widens her eyes in shock to see Julian enter the elevator and the person she hopes to help her get off the elevator.

The elevator door closed behind Julian, now that Vania could not twitch anymore as Julian pushed her body until the girl's back clashed with the wall and locked her with both arms, there was no way out for her to escape

"Please, let me go"

"You choose this way to talk, I've offered you a sumptuous dinner but you've escaped" Julian turned up Vania's face with a lowered chin

"What's your problem, Vania. Why are you so scared of me like this?"

"I'm not afraid, I just don't like being close to you"

"Why..?"

"Because it's ruining the way my heart works" Vania choked in her heart

"I just don't like it, please stay away" Vania pushed Julian's chest with both hands, from which she could hear Julian's heartbeat beating fast as well.

Vania looked at Julian confusedly. Was it because he ran away or.. They were silent for a long time and only looked at each other, the elevator door opened displaying some people who were about to enter, but seeing the two of them people did not dare to enter, to those who saw, but saw, Julian and Vania were having a good time.

The elevator door closed again and moved down again. Vania who first broke their eye contact, the girl turned her eyes aside awkwardly

"Mr Granger, I don't know what happened to you, but I'm sure you're not in good shape.."

"I love you.." Vania is speechless, her sentence hanging as Julian utters the word she whispers every night when she misses Julian and their baby

"What..?" Julian rubbed Vania's cheeks gently

"I said I love you, doesn't it still sound obvious? I love you, I love you, I love you. How many times do I have to say it? Ilove you.."

"You can't love me" Vania cut Julian's rant

"Why can't I love you?"

"Because you love Mba Angel" Julian became furious again

"I stopped loving her for a long time, Vania. Now there's only you in my heart"

"No way, I don't believe it.."

"Then believe me.." Julian lowered his face, sticking his head against Vania's head

"Oh my God, I really miss you" Julian wrapped his arms around Vania's waist and once again hugged the girl. Vania was still pressing on Julian's chest with her hand trying to keep some distance between the two of them.

Ignoring that Julian further lowered his face, touching his nose on the soft surface of Vania's cheeks then down the neck and shoulders Vania open. For a long time he longed for moments like this to inhale the scent of Vania and smell every inch of Vania's body

"Vania.." The whisper sounded soft and cradled anyone who called his name with that voice

Julian paused over Vania's open lips, they were silent for a while before actually putting their lips together in a kiss. Julian kissed Vania softly, but her lips landed on the girl's cheek as Vania turned her face away quickly.

Julian groaned softly but he still respected Vania by not forcing the girl. The girl may still be surprised and not ready with her confession of love. If Vania had been willing to accompany him to eat, Julian would not have immediately said he loved the girl

"The food I prepared may have been cold, you want to eat somewhere else?"

"No.."

"No eating?, then what do you want?"

"I want to go home" Julian tightened his embrace

"We just met, why do you want to go home?"

Seeing Vania's expression still shocked and confused, Julian gave up. Julian intends to approach Vania like a gentleman approached a woman, but upon seeing this girl reject him, Julian must change his plans. But he won't start now

"All right. You want to go home..? I'm gonna walk" Julian let go of her hug and then grabbed Vania's hand

"No need, I'll go home with Mira"

"Mira's home"

"So right, you guys know each other?"

"He's a troublesome employee, I almost fired him when I saw him being with you" Julian pulled Vania out of the elevator when the elevator door opened in the lower lobby

"Why didn't you ever tell me that you used to work at my hotel?"

"You never want to know" Vania replied

"You're right, and again it's all my fault"

In the hotel lobby people looked at Julian with curious gazes, who was the woman he was holding. Seeing that curious look, Vania tried to pull her hand off. Julian sizzled softly looking at Vania who was trying to let go of her hand

"Stop thrashing"

"People see us sir"

"Just let them see" as Julian said, no matter how many people saw him, Julian stopped at the front door of the hotel and waited for his private car to be brought before him, Julian opened the car door and told Vania to sit in it, Julian quickly ran around the car and into the steering wheel.

Julian ran the car out of the hotel courtyard, his eyes glancing at Vania who was sitting next to him in silence. For some reason Vania's reaction was so shocking to him, he had no idea that Vania would avoid him and actually refused to talk to him

"You really don't want to eat anything?, haven't you eaten today" Vania shook her head in response to Julian

"How's your mother doing?" Julian asked again he did not like if Vania just kept quiet

"Vania.." call Julian, the man then breathed his resignation, because even along the way they could only be silent.

Upon arrival at Vania's house, the girl went in without even turning her head or speaking to Julian. Julian rubbed his nape to calm his tense nerves then walked towards his car

"It won't be easy"
