CHAPTER 34

Outside the room, Julian was standing right in front of the door that could lead him to meet Vania. The man took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, already since a few hours ago, he was impatient to enter this room and was nervous. He wants to quickly meet with Vania but postpones his intention because he is not ready

Julian turned his body and met Norman's eyes

"How do I look?"

"You are very handsome young master, but you look very nervous" replied Mr. Norman. Julian rubbed his temples while laughing softly

"I'm really nervous, what if Vania doesn't like to see me"

"She must have liked you, well, although at first it might have been a surprise but I'm sure Miss Vania would have loved to meet you, as you were happy to meet her"

"You sure?" Julian asked for certainty by looking at Mr. Norman seriously. Mr. Norman laughed softly and stretched out his hand to tidy up Julian's tie

"I'm sure, because I know he loves you too" Julian nodded his head then took another breath, turned his body and held the door knob of the room. Slowly Julian opened the door of the room and stepped in. The sound of his heartbeat was clearly heard in his ears, he had not seen where Vania was but it felt like he would be paralyzed at that moment.

Julian continued walking in until the dining room, a round table was neatly arranged by the food he had ordered. Julian held his breath seeing Vania standing on her back, the girl was standing looking at the scene from outside the window. Julian walked closer and closer, the sound of his footsteps tapping slowly on the marble floor below.

Slowly Vania twisted her body at the sound of someone's footsteps, that's when Julian could see Vania's face. The face of the woman he had longed for, the girl looked surprised to see Julian. Julian no longer listened to the pounding sound of his heart racing, he was silent because he was too fascinated by the scenery in front of him. Never in her shadow would even see Vania in a luxurious dress and look so enchanting. Is Vania really this pretty?.

"Mr Granger..?" vania's voice awakens Julian from his daydream. Julian closed his eyes, he missed the girl's voice. Julian opened his eyes and smiled at Vania

"Vania.." Vania touched her hands in front of her chest, it felt like her heart was beating beyond capacity, she thought someone was coming in to deliver something again, how shocked she was once she turned around Julian was behind her

"Vania.." Julian's voice made Vania sure she wasn't hallucinating

"Mr Granger, why are you here?"

"Why..? this is my hotel"

"Well.." Vania moved her eyes left and right, what did all this mean?, why did Mira bring her here? Why is there Julian? does Mira know Julian? does his friend know who Julian is?.

Vania raised her gaze when she saw the end of Julian's shoe walking closer and closer to her, her eyes met Julian's eyes, the man looked at her with a longing gaze

"Vania. I miss you" Vania backed off, away from Julian. Julian stopped approaching Vania

"You don't know how hard I found you"

"Why..?" the voice coming out from Vania's mouth sounded hoarse

"Why lookin' for me? Is something wrong?"

"No. It's not that something's wrong, I'm just looking for you because.." Julian was silent then rubbed his nape where he should start

"How about we sit down and eat first? You haven't eaten, have you?" Julian took the first seat and pulled it for Vania. Vania shook her head

"I have to find my friend" Vania turned away from Julian and walked to the door

"No..Wait a minute.." Julian restrains Vania by holding the girl's arm. Vania who was surprised to pull Julian's hand and then rubbed his hand because suddenly the heat radiated from the place touched by Julian. Julian hardened his jaw to see Vania's rejection

"Wait.I've prepared a dish for both of us, after you eat we'll talk. Yeah..?"

"I have to find Mira"

"Vania.."

"He brought me here, I want to hear his explanation of all this, why am I wearing this shirt, why are you here?"

"You look beautiful in that shirt"

"I have to go" Vania again turned her body and went to the door, and Julian did not stay still, the man caught up with Vania and blocked the girl's steps

"Vania. There's a lot I want to tell you, listen to me first"

"No, Mr. Granger, our deal was done a year ago" Vania took a different path from where Julian had confronted her, but Julian blocked her once again

"Master, let me go"

"No, before you listen to me"

The intercepted action happened for a while, Julian persisted by not touching Vania again because the girl clearly did not like it when she touched it. Vania insisted on finding another way to the exit. Tired of the game to block it Vania stopped her steps

"Whatdoyouwant? I've left the baby to you, I see nothing's wrong anymore" Vania protested, the girl held back the tightness of her chest when she said that.

"The mistake is, why did you leave without saying anything to me"

"I left a letter"

"I don't need a letter, I want you to tell me directly"

"Well. shall I strengthen now, I go Mr. Granger, leave the baby to you, satisfied?.Now get out of my sight"

Vania breaks through the narrow road between Julian and the wall as her last attempt, but it makes her regret that she is desperate. Julian hugged her, holding the girl by wrapping both her hands around Vania's waist

Vania held her own breath as it was suddenly hugged like that, Julian's breath roaring in her head, her back clinging to Julian's chest signifying Julian's strong embrace

"I was wrong, I was wrong for not saying this quickly, Vania. I never wanted you out of my life, asking you to make a decision was a big mistake. I've regretted that for a year"

"What are you talking about?" Vania furrowed her brows, she grew even more confused. What happened to Julian.

"I'm trying to explain to you that I want you to stay by my side, with our daughter"

"Sir, I'm sure you're not thinking logically"

"Oh my God, a year old Vania. What do you think I've been thinking about this year?" julian's wrath shook Vania who was in his arms

"I don't know, maybe because Mba Angel still rejects you you're losing your mind" Vania wriggles from Julian's arms, she doesn't like to be hugged by that guy, she doesn't like to be hugged by him, because it feels like Vania will not be able to think clearly if hugged like this

"What makes me lose my mind is you.. Shit, stop thrashing"

"You hurt me, you hugged me too tightly, I could crumble" Julian fell silent, he did hug the girl too tightly

"I'll let you go as long as you promise not to go, just listen to what I want to say"

Vania nodded her head, slowly Julian let go of his hand that was coiled on Vania's waist, the next second the girl ran towards the door and out of the hotel room

"Damn.." Julian ran after Vania
