50. Cancel Bets
The event was quite lively and as usual Queen and King managed to get back the most popular title on their campus. During the event King never left Queen alone, he continued to follow wherever Queen went, in King's heart still feels stuck and wants to see Ace immediately. After delivering Queen back to his house, King immediately drove his car to a cafe that he had promised through a short message to Ace, fortunately Ace wanted to see King and did not complicate King's situation.
King walks into the cefe, looking for Ace who seems to have arrived first. “So what's up King? You want to clarify your victory, don't you?” kekeh Ace who looked calm, did not feel upset in the slightest over his defeat. “I've taken care of my transfer letter, tomorrow I already have a new campus that seems more fun.”
Full of curiosity King could only clench his hands tightly, he then shook his head. “No, just forget this bet, just go back to campus. I'm not entirely serious about the bets we make,” King said in the end.
Ace was seen opening his mouth in disbelief, then he chuckled. “Wow, what's going on? You want me to be the one who looks weak from being defeated by you?” asked Ace with a face that seemed to mock. “I can't stay on this campus if I don't become a popular one.”
Really* really sucks, right? King intends to reconcile but Ace seems to think that this is an insult to him. “No, I really*love Queen, I want to forget that bet,” replied King who was starting to get upset, why it was so hard Ace said yes and then thanked King. Oh, there's no way a guy like Ace would say thank you.
King clucked softly, should the number of times he said if Ace really* was annoying, he kept saying the bets and betting materials that made King's ears hurt. “Queen is not a betting material, he's my childhood friend. Never mind, I don't want to talk to you again, I reiterate to you once again if I cancel this bet, there's no need to get out of campus.” After he finished saying the affirmation sentence, King stood up, but his steps stopped when he heard Ace's words.
“I'll stay out, I never pull my own promises. I'm not that bad as King, I hope I meet people like you again at the new campus, and for sure this time I have to win the bet,” said Ace so casually as if having a new campus was common for him.
King shook his head slowly looking at Ace who was now drinking his own cold coffee, puzzled as to why there was a human like Ace in this world. “I just realized you're totally*crazy Ace. May you find your own love, stop inviting someone you just know to bet.”
“No, I don't want boring stories like that King, I love every challenge like this and I love winning,” Ace replied as he raised next to his eyebrows. King could only shake his head back and leave Ace, he had to refocus on Queen and express his own obvious feelings. He loves Queen and he just totally loves someone like this.
