Dear diary,
Today I was in Daniel's bell to school riding a bike. It was like being in a prince's bell with a white horse like in a fairy tale book. Daniel was blonde, his eyes blue. He really looks like a prince.
But unfortunately the story of the princess and the prince ended. Si Luki suddenly appeared with her water gun.
And finally a water war.
......................
"I'm fine papa" Lindy replied calming down her father's worried voice on the phone.
Lindy knew this was going to happen. His head sometimes buzzed and made him dizzy. But he didn't expect to faint in front of a guy. How humiliating.
"Yes I've taken the medicine, papa just calm down" Lindy continued.
Lindy saw the medicine on the table that she hadn't touched since waking up. And a bowl of oatmeal porridge with cheese on it. Breakfast was her favorite since childhood.
A piece of paper stuck on the table with a short message on it. Lindy picked it up and read it. The writing of his chicken claws made him somewhat squint while reading the small writing on a torn piece of pink paper.
'Take the medicine after eating.' The short message made Lindy smile. I don't know why there's a warm stream on his chest. But then he recognized the paper tear. Lindy searches her diary book in her bag and opening her page, she finds a large paper tear on the back. Lindy snarled in her heart. And doubted the kindness of the guy she just met today.
"Of course papa I'm not a kid anymore. I'll call again" Lindy ended her father's long, worried phone call.
Lindy got off the bed slowly. He was about to reach for the bowl of porridge on the table when his toes touched something.
He took a piece of scrap paper from the porridge order. Lindy chuckles amusedly because she had thought that Luki was making the porridge herself.
Suddenly the door of the room opened and a stocky girl appeared crying.
"Lindyyy! what's going on?" he hugged Lindy. The smell of cake and bread was smelled from his brown-clothed shirt with a small logo. She must be Farah my little friend the Breadboy's kid down the street. According to his diary his father owned a famous cafe and bakery on this small island.
"I'm fine, Farah right?" ask Lindy to convince herself. The girl was surprised and looked at me.
"You recognize me?" tanyanya. It seems that Farah already knew about her condition.
"Ah, thank goodness" she exclaimed in relief hugging me again.
"I miss you Lin" she cried. Lindy hugged her little best friend back, although she only knew him today, she felt a strange feeling like she had missed him for a long time. I hope I remember the sweet memories with my little friend.
"Me too" Lindy replied, hugging her back, expressing her current feelings.
A knock on the door made Lindy and Farah turn their heads. A handsome bule boy looked at them with a witty look.
"Ahem.se nih soap operasnya" he asked. "Maybe you don't know I'm coming" he said in fluent language. Of course Lindy immediately guessed the guy was Daniel Rafael. Om David Herman's adopted son in the house to the right of Lindy's house. The doctor who treated him today. And also my school friend.
Daniel is exactly what he described in my diary. His feather face, blond hair, blue eyes were like the image of a prince in a fairy tale book. No wonder when I was a kid I idolized him.
"Hi Lindy, long time no see ya" her soft voice and eloquent language must make all wonder about her nationality.
"H.hello Daniel, nice to meet again" replied Lindy stuttered because of the aura of Daniel that made all girls fascinated by his appearance.
"Well, you remember me, which means what daddy said about you lost your memory is wrong" Daniel said.
Lindy felt her father had told her about her condition to her friend David. Conditions he wanted to hide from his childhood friends.
"My thoughts have not returned, my memory still depends on my diary as a child" Lindy explained briefly.
"Daily book?" asked Farah who was sitting beside her bed earlier.
"Yes I found my diary as a child and made me want to come back here to find my identity" he forced a small laugh.
" If you want to remember, leave it to me. I'll tell you everything you want to know." said Farah who was suddenly excited.
"really. Thank you yes" replied Lindy relieved her friend did not mind her condition.
But does Luki know too? Lindy asked inwardly.
Daniel notices Lindy looking for someone.
"You looking for Luki?"ask Daniel
Lindy is shocked by the sudden question and doesn't know what to answer.
"He was at the lantern festival again on stand guard, because this afternoon ran away" continued Daniel.
"Ah right yes he should take care of the afternoon but instead skipped sleeping in your tree house" added Farah look upset with Luki's behavior.
"I wasn't looking for him, I just thought he was coming with you"
"Don't mind Luki, she made you faint. Take care of yourself first you have to eat and drink medicine" exclaimed Farah taking a bowl of porridge. "I'll bribe you, aa..."
"I can eat by myself!" lindy refused the bribe in shame.
Lindy reflexes open her mouth. Daniel laughs. Lindy was embarrassed.
After he finished the porridge and took the medicine. Farah went to pick up the dessert from the store. Lindy is now alone with Daniel.
They sat on the back porch of the house drinking a cup of warm milk and waiting for Farah to return. Although they used to be close friends somehow feels awkward sitting alone with the man who had been idolized.
"It's been a long time.." Lindy flinched with a sudden soft voice but nodded in agreement with Daniel's voice, which broke the silence between us.
"I'm sorry I forgot all our memories here" Lindy said in a regretful tone.
"It's not your fault" Daniel replied with a smile. Lindy could almost see a circle of angels above her head. His smile can bring sinners to their knees for forgiveness. Lindy believes if Daniel to Italy must have many people who offer him to be a model.
"Do you know how we all met?" lindy asks a distraction from Daniel's strong charm.
"Well, what I know we met began with the friendship of our parents. Luki's father bought this place and asked your architect father to arrange this place. Therefore on the Flamboyant road there were only four houses initially. Then two more Miriam's sister's house appeared, Ms. Lisa's manager of the park here and another Mr. Luke's security here."
"Ah therefore the garden behind the house is always clean" said Lindy smiling satisfied to find the puzzle of the garden of his house that is always neat.
"Yes, and the tree house was Luki who took care of him and painted him back."
Daniel pointed to his tree house that still looked new. His father made a tree house as a birthday present. And there are also many memories with his little friends. The tree house still looks the same as in the photo tucked in his diary. I didn't think anyone would take care of him.
"See new right?" daniel replied Lindy with a nod of admiration for Luki's hard work.
Daniel stood up. His silhouette bounced off the light of the lamp.
Oh, God, thank you for this beautiful view.
Daniel stood up holding a cup and another put his hand in his pocket.
Daniel turned to her and smiled as he reached out to her.
Lindy was flabbergasted by the scenes she could only see in Korean dramas she watched almost every day. And now it happens to him.
"Would you like to look inside a tree house?" Lindy was fascinated by this scene. Who would refuse the invitation of this handsome prince.
Lindy was about to receive the helping hand when suddenly another hand appeared clasping her hand.
Lindy surprised.
He looked at the owner of the hand. Luki smiled in satisfaction for having interrupted that romantic scene.
"I'm coming too!" exclaim Luki. Daniel laughed as if he was used to Luki.
Lindy breathed a disappointed breath. Luki saw it and smirked in satisfaction.
"Finally you showed up too" said Daniel punching Luki lightly in the stomach. Then Luki started to reply with a light kick then in Daniel's field and continued.
Lindy's still upset. Why should Luki show up now.
"They're always like that every time they meet" a voice beside her surprised him.
Farah sat next to him, carrying two boxes full of cake and bread. Lindy didn't even realize Farah was next to her.
"Bikin was surprised, I didn't hear you coming" she said, helping her carry some boxes of cookies. The smell of freshly baked bread made him hungry again.
The two of them leisurely walked through the still-ongoing battlefield and climbed up the tree house stairs while chatting.
It was dark, the tree house looked beautiful with the lights on automatically. Along the terrace is full of small lights hanging. And battery-powered lantern lights along the steps. Lindy feels the tree house now looks like a modern tree house.
"Hey, you guys help us open the door!" yelled Farah from the top of the terrace of the tree house.
"Ready Boss!!" yell at them both. Then run while competing with each other.
I was amazed by Farah's power to stop them both.
The four of us entered the tree house. For the first time they regroup and have a small party there.
And for the first time Lindy can laugh with them.
