Pursuing Love in the Past

Pursuing Love in the Past
Tony's Return

Happy reading...

Someone stood waiting at the elevator door to carry out an order from the superior.

Ting.

The elevator doors are wide open. "Night sir", said Tony as he watched Alfian step outside from the elevator.

"Night", Alfian replied briefly. Then Alfian walked to his apartment followed by Tony while pulling a travel bag that had been carried earlier.

Siska who was right behind Alfian walked leisurely while puffing her chest. Alfian and Tony ignored him. They walked while talking without looking towards Siska.

"Hey, it's my wife" Siska whispered, pointing to herself.

When no one cared about her, Siska at a quick pace, tried to align her steps with Alfian. "Hi", he said with a smile alternately to Alfian and Tony.

Tony and Alfian looked at Siska with a wry face. What is this guy? inner Alfian.

Then Alfian turned back towards Tony. He continued his words that had been interrupted because of Siska. While Siska inched backwards with a grunt annoyed in her mind. He wanted to protest because his whereabouts were not considered, yet he did not know to whom he would say it. Siska finally chose silence.

"Okay, do you understand?" ask Alfian to Tony. He did not want his work to be delayed during his departure to the house of the in-laws, which he did by force.

"Understand, sir", Tony responded with a quick nod.

"As long as I'm gone, you stay in my apartment" Alfian said.

Tony immediately moved his palm. "I'm sorry I can't sir", he refused.

"It's an order!" it was Alfian who made Tony speechless. Tony had to do all the orders of the superior, so he could not refuse to stay in Alfian's apartment.

"Well, sir", replied Tony firmly.

"Okay, bring your things" Alfian asked Tony.

"Ready, sir", he answered swiftly, then moved carrying the travel bag he had prepared for Alfian's letter by telephone.

Siska was only a loyal goat to hear their conversation. When the door to Alfian's apartment was opened, he immediately gawked in to the door of the room he had first seen.

"Where are you going?" alfian asked as he saw Siska's hand holding the handle of her room door.

"To the room" Siska replied annoyedly.

"That's not your room!" exclaim Alfian.

"Yes, I know. But we're...."

"I told you it wasn't your room!" alfian exclaimed as if knowing that Siska was going to say the status of their current relationship.

Siska who was silent for a while in front of Alfian's room door, finally let go of her handle. Disappointed he walked to find another room.

"Yes, that's your room" Alfian exclaimed, after Siska found the right room. Alfian turned to look at Tony.

"For a while Tony slept in the living room" said Alfian, who was not denied by Tony.

"I live first" said Alfian when Tony had just put his travel bag next to the sofa.

"Well sir", said Tony politely.

"O, yeah... The bathroom is right there", point Alfian to the one room next to the pantry. Then he went into the room.

Elsewhere in the family home, Ayunda heard laughter that filled their living room. The atmosphere is warm and full of excitement in the house, reducing fatigue after almost a day they are outside the house.

"Dad don't say it again, Yunda was ashamed", Ayunda told the father who continued to tease him. Ayunda's hilarious childhood story retold by her father makes the whole family laugh out loud.

The father looked happily at Ayunda. "Now my little daughter is an adult" he said with a smile on his face. "But, maybe soon will leave father" he said.

"Yunda will not leave father. Yunda will always be with his father", Ayunda said as he scattered himself to embrace the father.

The atmosphere of haru because happy is now mixed with sadness. The father knew that one day his children would build their families.

"Why?" ask Ayunda.

"You must leave father and mother. When you get married, you'll also be staying with your husband" exclaimed the father "Because we want to have a grandchild soon", the father said with a wish that made Adrian choke. In a hurry he placed a glass in his hand that still left water.

"Slow down, son", exclaimed the mother reminded Adrian.

"Not just Yunda, dad. Our firstborn too, dong", said the mother sambl looking at Adrian with a smile.

"Mother is right", exclaimed Ayunda by showing her thumb. "Sister will be older, should be the older brother who first married", said Ayunda gave his burden to the older brother.

Adrian, who got a meaningful look from his family members, felt cornered. Thinking hard, he found a reason to avoid them.

Geck... Tok

"There's a guest, Dad... Mother..", he said girang. He felt that someone who had come to his current home had become his savior.

Adrian quickly got up from his seat. "Just as Adrian opens", he exclaimed as he walked towards the door.

Chequek...

"Assalamualaikum.." said a woman with a sweet smile on Adrian.

Adrian just kept quiet without returning greetings from the woman in front of him.

"Can I come in?" he asked as Adrian still looked at him with a flat face.

"Who, son?" ask the mother, who was impatient to see the guest who came that night. "Come, tell him to come in", the mother asked when she saw Adrian still standing in the doorway.

Adrian could not escape anymore. He also couldn't possibly close the door and say the person had the wrong address. With little objection he led the woman into the house.

"Assalamualaikum, aunty. uncle.", he said politely when he was invited to enter by Adrian.

"Winda...", exclaimed the mother girang.

"Waalaikumsalam.", replied the father.

Ayunda looked at Winda with a stiff smile. "Hi, sister Winda", a brief reply.

"Hi, Yunda", she replied with a smile.

Then the mother asked Winda to sit with them. "Dad... This is our future daughter-in-law" said the mother impatiently, whereas Winda had just sat down. Winda immediately replied to Adrian's mother's words with a stiff smile. Unlike Adrian who just silence without expression.

The father smiled happily. "Well, good then. Don't wait long, son. Later taken people", said the father by looking at Adrian and Winda alternately.

"Actually Winda is ready, if applied now", said Winda with a shy blush that made Adrian choked again when sipping the remaining water in his glass.

"Puffs... " Ayunda held back her laughter when she saw the brother's groggy expression. Unlike the mother who just kept quiet while staring at Adrian.

"Good then", exclaimed the father with a happy countenance. "Well, Adrian what are you waiting for, your bride-to-be is ready for that" urged the father on the eldest son.

Adrian was silent for a while, he did not want to ruin his father's happiness at this time.

"Dad be calm, if the time is right Adrian will get married", he said.

The father and the others stared silently at Adrian. Then the father tried to conclude Adrian's words.

"Oh, steady", said the father. "Adrian has prepared it, just wait for the play date" said the father with a happy laugh. The mother and the others laughed happily except Adrian.

"Good son, you are a real man. You have prepared it secretly" said the father who made Adrian even more confused, because what he said was not what the father thought. But Adrian did not clear up the misunderstanding at all, he acted as if justifying his father's words.

Nearly two hours of Winda's visit to Adrian's family. Many things they have talked about, as if Winda had become a daughter-in-law in the family, until it did not feel like the night was almost late. Willa politely asked permission to say goodbye to Adrian's family. The father who was worried that if Winda had to go home alone, he asked Adrian to take him.

Adrian happily prepares his vehicle. His family's joy with Winda has changed his attitude a little softened towards Vinda.

"Come.", take her to Winda.

"Not romantic", chirped the father.

Winda said goodbye to Adrian's family with a smile. Then walk out following Adrian's steps.
