Adrian was busy with some files on his desk. He rubbed his hair rough, as he had yet to get the cooperation with the advertising company he so desperately wanted. "Don't be discouraged! Tomorrow, try again with another company!" he said he was encouraging himself.
Crick.
Someone has opened the door to his study. "Sister Adrian." call Ayunda with a sweet smile, while walking over to the brother. "That's Sister Winda calling", point to Ayunda with the tail of her eyes, as she stands on the edge of Adrian's workbench, accidentally seeing Adrian's phone screen on, light up, but without the tone because Adrian has set it to silent mode.
"Oh, yes. Just a second, deck." Adrian picked up his phone while blinking his eyes. Ayunda went straight out of the room of the brother, not wanting to listen to their conversation.
*
Adrian came down the stairs after receiving a call from his lover. Yes, Adrian is still on good terms with Winda. Unlike Ayunda who stayed away from Ferdo, although Ferdo repeatedly contacted him, but not once did Ayunda give him a chance.
"How are you doing, Sister?" Ayunda asked still with a focus on her laptop screen and some book references on her lap. His end-of-campus job that must be ready this week, he works with the marathon.
"Well, um, Ferdo was also good", he said that made Ayunda stop his fingers that had been playing on the keyboard, when he heard the name Ferdo. Her net was staring at the laptop screen, but with a blank look.
Adrian was silent, when he saw the reaction of his sister. He quickly changed the subject. "Mother, tomorrow the father's trial will begin" said Adrian who made the mother and Ayunda turned almost simultaneously towards him.
"What is the sentence immediately decided, if there is no evidence?" ask the mother who is starting to feel restless.
Adrian shook his head, "it shouldn't be, Bun. But there is evidence recorded at the company where the father worked that the truck was indeed being carried by the father on the same date. Unless we can prove that Dad didn't bring the truck at the time of the accident."
The mother sighed in anger. "There's no way out, dong." The mother said as she leaned back her body, with a gloomy face.
"There's gotta be a way out, Bun. Adrian still has a few confidants who will help. Although they are not paid dearly, yet they still want to do it." Adrian's heavy voice, teasing Ayunda who was busy with a laptop in front of him.
Ayunda closed the screen of her laptop, because it began to feel disturbed, then looked at the face of despair of the mother and sister alternately. "Why be lethargic, surely we will find the proof!" yang Ayunda tried to entertain. "Ehm, how about we start by looking for the wife of a father's friend" he suggested.
Adrian smiled wryly as he looked at Ayunda. "Son't been looking for him for more than 2 years, but he's lost just like he's been swallowed by the earth. Do not know where it went", he said that made Ayunda slumped.
"What's? 2 Years, brother?" ask Ayunda while shaking her head. "What's the best he's hiding? Or maybe someone has found it, and harmed it" he said.
"Hus, don't just talk, son!" exclaimed the mother who spontaneously advised Ayunda.
"Yes, sorry Bun", he replied with a bit of compassion.
Ayunda was silent for a moment, she was thinking of a way to get her father free soon. When he thought of something, he reached for the phone that was still on the table, and then he sent a short message to someone.
"Mother, Yunda is sleepy." Ayunda yawned while closing her mouth.
The mother looked at Ayunda with a smile. "Go to bed, son. Mother still has someone to chat with your sister", said the mother gently.
Ayunda left, after disabling his laptop and put it back in place. Then he walked with shaky steps towards his bedroom which was on the 2nd floor.
"Ah, very tired", he murmured while climbing the stairs, but his speech can still be heard by the mother and Adrian.
"Yunda doesn't look like she used to, Bun. Did his college assignment make him so tired?" Adrian frowned, but the look in his eyes looked at Ayunda's back that was getting away.
"Hem, Mother also thinks the same thing" said the mother. The tail of his eyes also followed Adrian's view, when Ayunda was no longer able to reach by his gaze.

Ferdo grabbed his phone again. He almost forgot to book a place, for his meeting tomorrow with the lover.
Drrt.
Ferdo just thought about it. Ayunda called him back. Yes, Ayunda has asked Ferdo to meet him.
Ayunda called Ferdo back, because he was already in his room. He just sent a message, because he did not want the mother and Adrian also knew of his meeting with Ferdo.
"Assalamualaikum, Yunda", baritone Ferdo's voice greeted, as he just shifted the green button on his phone.
"Wa-alaikumsalam. "pick up Ayunda. Actually he hesitated to re-communicate with Ferdo, but because of something he had to do.
"How are you?" ask Ferdo.
"Good news, brother! What about Alfian?"
"Well, too", replied Ferdo.
Suddenly a silence was created between them, still by sticking each other's cell phones in their ears. "Thank God, then" said Ayunda breaking the silence. "I just want to remind you, Brother. Tomorrow Don't forget to come to the place Yunda told you via chat, yes." Ayunda's soft voice returned to Ferdo.
"Okay, I must have come" said Ferdo with a smile, but that smile could not be seen by Ayunda.
"Okay, thanks brother. Bye."
Ferdo replies to Ayunda, before they cut off the conversation on the phone. After that he put his phone back on the nightstand, still with a smile that continued to expand. Tonight he must have been able to sleep well, having heard Ayunda's soft voice. Unlike the previous night when he was in the midst of grief, because for days Ayunda ignored him.

The morning sun shone from the window of Ayunda's room. The slight bias of light entering had blinded his eyes. He closed with his palm, about to block the light that had blinded his eyes.
"It's morning" he said with a raucous voice typical of people waking up. Wanting her to continue her sleep, but not wanting to be stamped as a lazy girl, she rushed up while stretching her hands up. His sleep was sound, as if giving a new spirit in this beautiful morning.
Tok.
"Yunda." call the mother from behind the door of Ayunda's room.
"Yes, Bun. for a moment", he said from inside the room. Then walk to the door.
Chequek.
"For Mother", he said with a horse's grin.
"God's Masya... Mother's daughter just woke up!" The mother stared with glaring eyes.
"Bun, by the way don't be so tight, dong. Entar neighbor listen", said Ayunda with a clear face.
"Hem, Yes. If you don't want your neighbors to listen. Shower, gih. Smells are spreading everywhere!" said the mother deliberately closed her nose.
"Yes, dear mother", she replied with a smile. Then rushed into the bathroom after the mother left her room.
