Pursuing Love in the Past

Pursuing Love in the Past
Ayunda tried to be cheerful

Adrian and Winda were lying on the bed after their son Azzam fell asleep.

Winda looked towards her husband. "According to my hubby, who's about the mastermind who framed Ayunda."

Adrian cleared his throat, it felt heavy for him to say it. "People who hold grudges against our families are just bude families in our hometown."

"Owh, the family's my hubby sir who's been in that prison. He's the one who told someone to hit Papa and Alfian's mom's car, right?"

"Yes, honey. But that's just an estimate. I must immediately gather evidence before Yunda is detained by the authorities."

"If you need help, just say it."

Adrian looked at his wife meaningfully.

"You are a very understanding wife of my hubby. I do need your help to calm down something that belongs to me that is very valuable."

Winda glared when he heard the husband's words. Without warning Adrian has ambushed the wife, until his previous desire was held finally spilled.

"Thank you, baby", said Adrian while giving a sweet kiss when he saw the tired face of the wife.

The morning sun burst in through the window of Ayunda's room. This morning Ayunda hastily entered the small bathroom. His lack of sound sleep made him late to wake up.

After a few minutes, the ritual of bathing. He rushed to wear the work clothes he had prepared on the bed.

"Laptop, flasdisk and.." dictate Ayunda while hanging his words trying to remember what has not entered into his laptop bag. "It seems like there's no more." Then he stepped out of the room.

"For everyone", said Ayunda by walking up to the dining table and displaying her sweet smile. All the family members stared at Ayunda's cheerful face.

"Bag darling. Very cheerful this morning", said the mother who just put a plate of fried potatoes Adrian's favorite.

"Mother always teaches us to be patient in dealing with all problems, let the heart be calm. If it is calm, there is happiness. Well, this is what Yunda practices other than praying."

The mother smiled at the words of her beautiful daughter. "You're right, son. Now the burden of your mind is slightly reduced to see Yunda's attitude like this."

"Yunda must remain in submission to Allah and do not forget istighfar."

"Yes, father", said Ayunda politely. Then those who sit on the dining table chair both enjoy the breakfast made by the mother who never boring to eat.

After finishing enjoying his breakfast, Ayunda immediately say goodbye to all members of his family, because he had an important meeting this morning.

Ayunda drove his vehicle to divide the city street crowds that are indeed crowded with residents. His net repeatedly glanced at the digital clock on the dashboard of the car. Almost his tongue said the word swear, because annoyed will be late to the office.

His net accidentally saw someone he knew was overtaking several vehicles, because the person was riding a motorcycle. In a hurry he opened the glass of his car. "Dennis!" yelled Ayunda calling the man who was not far from the position of his car.

The man who felt his name on that call also turned his head. "What's wrong?" ask two men almost simultaneously.

"Sorry, Denis is in blue" said Ayunda with a stiff smile.

"Bu Yunda", said Denis when he saw clearly the face of the person who had called him. "What's up, ma'am?"

"Do you have a SIM?"

"Mommy's got. And I can also drive a car" Denis said with confidence.

"It just so happens. I want us to switch places. You take this car, I take your bike."

Denis looked at Ayunda with a frown. "Are you sure?"

"Don't be trivial. Gini-gini, I can also bring a bike. You take it easy, your bike is safe in my hands."

"I'm not worried about the bike ma'am. But I'm worried about Miss Yunda."

The sound of the vehicle horn behind them, making Ayunda take the motor key directly from Denis' hand and replace it with a car key.

"I go first", said Ayunda while walking with his laptop bag. Then he turned on Denis's motorbike and took it past the vehicle that was still waiting in line.

"For Mr. Arif", said Ayunda to the security guard who was still gawking to see Ayunda coming on a motorcycle.

"For Yunda. Why did you ride the bike?"

"I'll tell you later. Our client has arrived?"

"Not yet, ma'am."

Ayunda breathed a sigh of relief. Finally he could arrive before that important client came. "Okay, Mr. Arif. I'm going upstairs first."

"Well, ma'am", said Mr. Arif politely.

Ayunda stepped his legs leaving Mr. Arif who was still standing in his position.

After almost 3 hours of Ayunda together with their new client was doing a meeting, finally reached an agreement.

"Thank you for your trust in our company."

"Together, mom. May our cooperation run smoothly."

"Amen."

Ayunda took her guest out of the room. "So you went straight back to Bali?"

"Yes mom. Next time we can have lunch together."

"Good sir", reply to Ayunda kindly.

Then Ayunda saw the departure of his client. After not being seen again by the sight of his eyes, he immediately walked towards his study.

"Mr Yunda. There was a man looking for a mother downstairs" said the secretary.

"Who?"

"If Abian sir I know mom, but if the other guy, he said he had come to this office but his name I forgot."

"Alphian?"

"Ah, yes ma'am. Then I know both men. Which one did you choose?" seducer the secretary.

"You don't make new trouble. Or do you want me to send you overtime tonight?"

The secretary shrunk. "Yes sorry mom. I'm just curious, because my mother's story is similar to the drama I often watch."

"It's not a drama but my real life. Please arrange how they get out of here, but it doesn't hurt either."

"Mr Yunda, I better get overtime. Instead of being in a suriuh ngusir people, the weight feels bu" said the secretary with a glass.

Ayunda grunted violently. He had to ask the receptionist to tell them to go home.

---

"Sorry gentlemen, whom I respect" said the receptionist, opening talks with Alfian and Abian. "Bu Yunda is busy at the moment. If you have anything to say, leave a message. Later I will convey to Ms. Yunda" he said kindly.

Alfian and Abian looked at each other. Their intention was to take Ayunda out to lunch, where they might leave a message.

Suddenly Alfian's phone rang. "Reina" he said as he looked at the contact's name on his phone screen. Then he immediately shifted the green button on his phone screen.

Alfian was busy with his phone call, while Abian tried to negotiate with the receptionist.

Not long ago Alfian also said goodbye, because there is urgent business in his office. While Abian still has not moved from the side of the reception desk.

"Sorry, sir. I've been warned not to call Ms. Yunda back. If it is for your personal interests, please directly contact to Yunda's personal number", said the receptionist firmly. Abian fell silent and finally decided to leave the place.
