Chapter 21: Looking Back at You

That morning Angel and Naura were ready for their first day of work. A female staff helped them introduce the rooms and introduced them to other staff.

"This is your desk. If there is something you do not understand later you can ask me or other staff" said the woman was friendly

"Good ma'am, thank you" said Angel.

"All right then I stay first and have a good job" said the woman

She leaves Angel and Naura. They both sit at their jobs.

Dito came to Angel who was sitting at work.

"Where? Hopefully you feel at home working here" said Dito

"Yes mas. the officer here is friendly", said Angel.

"Yes, the workbench is right over there" Dito pointed to his desk a little away from Angel's desk.

"You if there is anything can ask the mas or to other staff yes" said Dito

"Yes, I.", replied Angel

"Yes back to work first yes", said Dito

Dito left Angel's desk

Naura looked towards Angel who was sitting at the table next to her.

"Eh who is it?" asked Naura

"Oh that's my brother. It just so happened that he helped me get in here" Angel replied

"Ohhhhh. saucy also yes hehehehe" said Naura.

"Hustt has a wife and children" Angel said.

"uup... Well, what a pity yes.", said Naura looked a little disappointed

Angel smiled looking at Naura's facial expression.

That day they began working with the help of directions from other staff.

At lunchtime Naura approached Angel's desk and stood in front of her.

"Lunch in the cafeteria first" Take Naura to Angel

Angel moves in and leaves her desk with Naura

They are now on the lower floor of the building. They were looking for a canteen.

Angel stopped his steps and felt his heels that began to hurt because the shoes he was wearing were indeed a little small in size.

From the back of the elevator door opened. There Aarav and several other staff were standing.

Aarav, who was standing in the front row, came out of the elevator and was followed by other staff behind him who were about to go to the cafeteria for lunch. Dito, who also came out of the elevator, saw Angel and his friend who were standing not far from the elevator.

Dito walks past Aarav and calls Angel

"Angel.", Call Dito while walking towards the two girls in long white shirts.

The girl who was called looked back.

Aarav stopped his steps upon hearing the cry of the name. A very familiar name in his ears. He looked at the girl who turned. The girl looked at Dito who was walking in front of her. He also seemed surprised to see the girl he had been looking for now in front of him at this time.

Angel who was not aware of Aarav's whereabouts because some staff also passed by there because it was lunchtime.

Dito approaches Angel and Naura

"You going to the cafeteria, right?? Yes, come together", take Dito

Angel introduces Dito to Naura.

Angel began to feel like someone was watching her, she turned to look at the man in the black suit, but Aarav quickly turned around and turned his back on the girl so that she did not recognize him.

Dito took them to the cafeteria. The three of them hurried away from the place towards the canteen

Aarav turned back and looked towards the girl's departure. In his heart he was eager to chase the girl and hug her, but he did not want to be rash. If the girl knew now that she was his superior, she was afraid that she would leave him. Aarav doesn't want to lose that girl again.

Devi exits the elevator and passes Aarav who is still standing in his place.

"Devi" call Aarav

Devi turned around and faced towards her superior

"After lunch, you call the HRD and ask Vino to send the CV of the staff who just entered today to my room" Aarav ordered

"Well sir.", replied Devi

Aarav turned around and again walked towards the elevator, he pressed the elevator button. After the elevator door opened, he went back into the elevator and was about to go back to work.

Angel and Naura were enjoying their lunch in the cafeteria.

"Hhmm the food is good", said Naura

"Slowly eating.", said Angel.

They just sat together because Dito left to sit with his friends.

"Yes. You know yet? The young director in our company is handsome bangeeettt" exclaimed Naura

"Ssttt. don't be so fussy" Angel said.

Naura covered her mouth with her right hand and looked around them people were looking towards them.

"Hehehe sorry to forget that again in a public place" Naura told Angel

"But seriously you've seen it yet??" asked Naura again

Angel shook his head

"So curious, what the hell kind of person. But he said the person was cold" said Naura

"What do you want to see a handsome guy?" Angel Ledek

"Both, hehehehe" answered Naura.

Angel smiled at the words of his friend

Angel saw the clock in his hand that had shown almost 1 pm.

"It's almost 1 o'clock, let's get back to work" Angel asked

"Yes, come on" answered Naura.

They moved and left the cafeteria which had started to be quiet.

Meanwhile in his room, Aarav was busy with his laptop.

Someone knocked on the door of his room

"Come in"

Aarav replied without taking his eyes off his laptop

The door was opened and it turned out that Devi was standing there with a Map containing CV

Aarav directed his gaze at Devi who was walking towards him

"Excuse me sir. This is the new children's CV you asked for"

Devi gives the map and Aarav receives it from Devi's hand

"Is there anything else you need sir?", asked Devi

"No, enough. Thanks, you can get back to work" said Aarav

"Okay sir, excuse me", said Devi

Devi left the room of her superior.

Aarav opens the Map in his hand and sees CV Angel and Naura there. Aarav opens Angel's CV to make sure that it's really the girl he's been looking for all along. He was stunned to see the girl's photo and the name listed there "Angelica Audrey". Aarav leaned his body in his big chair and closed his eyes. He really could not believe that it was indeed the girl he had been looking for all this time.

Aarav was still busy with his laptop when the clock was showing almost 6pm. Devi has also come home from earlier. Aarav shuts down his laptop and he wakes up from his seat. He put his suit back on which he had taken off.

He got out of the room and took the elevator down.

When he got downstairs, he got out of the building and saw his car parked in front of him.

"I'll bring my own car"

Aarav said to the driver who was standing next to the car.

"Your young master" replied the driver

The driver opened the door for his master

Aarav drove his car away from the place. He was about to go to the address of Angel's house that he had pocketed from the girl's CV earlier. He also drove his car there.

Because the road is very jammed, it took him 1 hour to get there. He parked his car across the simple house. He looked towards the house which looked silent from outside. He just wanted to make sure that the girl actually lived inside the house.

Half an hour he waited in his car, suddenly the door of the house opened and he saw the figure he always missed coming out of the house. The girl was wearing a short-sleeved nightgown and her long hair was unraveling. The girl walked over and opened the gate of the house. He had a black plastic bag in his hand. He threw the tent towards the trash can at the front end of the house.

Aarav whose car was parked across from him could only look at the girl from inside his car. He did not want his presence known to the girl for now. Although he was eager to get down and hug the girl but for now seeing the girl was fine was enough.

Angel again closed the fence and walked towards the door of the house slightly open and opened it. Before stepping in, Angel turned her back and looked back because she felt like someone was watching her. But he saw no one there, only a black car across the street. But he couldn't see anyone in the car. He turned around and went into the house and closed the door.

Aarav breathed a sigh of relief. He was so happy to see the girl he loved so much again. But for a while he could not suddenly appear before the girl. He will choose the right time to meet the girl directly.

Aarav runs his car leaving the place to go home.
