Chapter 10: Flashback

Ken is standing alone on the beach. Looking at the waves that kept trying to get to him. He did not feel the presence of the moon and stars in the sky that night. His thoughts were moving towards his past.

There were boisterous sounds and applause from the spectators in the school field. The girls dressed in gray white were watching their idols play basketball.

After finishing playing the boys were sitting on the edge of the field.

Looks like a very beautiful girl, tall and her long hair is stroked. He uses his hair bando so that it further beautifies his appearance.

"It's for you.."

The girl handed a bottle of water to one of them

The young man took a drink from the girl's hand

"Thank you" said the young man

The girl nodded and smiled sweetly.

"Cie.. Nabila, Aarav doang nih who is loved. ", Yoga ledek on the girl named Nabila.

Karin throws a bottle of drink at Yoga, with Yoga's alacrity catching the bottle.

"Where do I go.?" asked Ken

"Nich.!!", Aarav throws his drink at Ken, and Ken catches him.

"Kok was given Ken anyway", the girl looked disappointed and blushed her lips

Aarav got up from his seat and approached the girl

"I brought my own drink" said Aarav.

Aarav smiled and ruffled the girl's hair. The girl was embarrassed by Aarav's treatment of her.

Aarav walked towards his bag which was on the bench next to the basketball court. He took a bottle and drank it.

The girl continued to look towards Aarav with a gaze full of admiration at the young man

The girls who were still beside the field whispered to each other

"Hey look at that Aarav same Nabila, they are very compatible yes. Aarav her handsome, Nabila beautiful, good again", said one of the girls

"Yes it looks like they're dating" said the others.

The girl named Nabila smiled at their conversation heard by him.

Ken got up from his seat and approached the girl.

"Long!!", plucked Ken as he ruffled the girl's hair and ran away quickly

"Yes!!! Watch out..!!", exclaimed the girl

The girl held her head and ran after Ken

Ken approached Nabila who was standing on the balcony alone while holding her cellphone.

"Hey. bengong.. Why?", Sapa Ken

He stood beside Nabila who was looking at the gate from the balcony

"Aarav and others have not returned.Where are you?? I telfonin also not raised his cellphone" said Nabila worried

"So soon they came home", Ken tried to calm Nabila down.

Ken rubbed the girl's hair.

"Where? Are your legs light??" Ask Ken

The girl nodded

"Udah was silent", he answered.

"Well, I want to say something to you" Ken said.

"I want to talk to you too", the girl said.

"according to you... Aarav like me??", asked Nabila

Ken seemed silent to hear Nabila's words. The girl waved her hand before the young man's face.

"Hey.k kok diem anyway.", cried Nabila.

"Oh yes sorry. sorry.", said Ken awoke from his daydream.

"I. want to realize my feelings with Aarav if later we have reached Jakarta..how do you think??" Ask Nabila

Ken just fell silent and nodded slowly.

He also brushed the girl's hair

"Aarav must also like you. You are beautiful, well. pinter again.", said ken.

Nabila smiled happily and hugged Ken

"Thank you, you know me best" said Nabila.

The girl let go of his embrace and looked at Ken

"Well, what did you say?" asked Nabila

Ken shook his head slowly

The girl hugged Ken

Ken visited Nabila's house, worried about the girl who had not attended school for almost a week. He skipped school hours to meet the girl.

Ken rang the bell of the girl's house and soon the door was opened by a housekeeper Nabila.

"Eh mas Ken.", said the maid.

"When is there mba??" asked Ken to the maid

"Oh. non Nabila was gone from an hour ago", he replied.

"Where to go.?" asked Ken curiously

"Don't you know what, Ken?? Today non Nabila wants to go to America, want to continue his school there"

"What!!!", Ken was shocked

Without a second thought, Ken immediately ran away without saying goodbye. He rode his motorcycle and drove it towards the airport.

Arriving at the airport he left his motorcycle in the parking lot and ran in to find Nabila. He ran around looking, but he didn't see the girl he was looking for.

After a while of searching, he suddenly saw a girl wearing a blue sweater pulling her suitcase. He also ran towards the girl.

"Nabila..!!!", cried Ken.

The girl looked towards the source of the voice. He stopped his steps

"Ken.", he said softly.

Ken stood in front of the girl with his breath.

"Ken, how come you're here?" asked the girl

"I'm at your house. Said your maid, you want to go.", said Ken

The girl tried to smile at Ken

"When, papa same Mama wait inside ya.", said papa Nabila.

"Yes pa." answered Nabila

Both of Nabila's parents left them both. Nabila turned back to face Ken

"Yes Ken. I want to go... I'm sorry I didn't get to say good-bye to you guys", he said.

"But why?? You said you wanted to express your feelings as Aarav.?", asked Ken

The girl shook her head slowly while still trying to keep smiling

"I'm sorry Ken but I have to go. You take good care of yourself huh." he said

Ken held both hands of the girl

"Why don't you wait until graduation, one more semester we graduate" Ken said

The girl shook her head slowly, then she removed her hand from Ken's hand

"Sorry Ken. I have to go now"

The girl pulled her suitcase back and left Ken. Ken could only watch the girl's departure.

Ken ran bouncing around like he was chasing something, he ran towards his class.

From the door he saw Aarav sitting on his stool. He rushed to her too.

"Rav. follow me Rav... When I go Rav...

You must prevent him now at the airport", said Ken with a stingy breath

Aarav just fell silent, then he got up and looked at Ken

"Gue won't stop him" Aarav said.

Aarav walks past Ken. While Ken was still stunned in disbelief by Aarav's reply just now.

Ken ran after Aarav, he held his shoulder so the young man turned and faced him.

"Bukkkk"

A punch landed on the young man's cheek.

Yoga and his other friends ran and held Ken

"Ken calm Ken.", said Yoga while holding Ken.

"Lu know that Nabila likes you!! Why did you let him go!!?" Shouted Ken to Aarav

Aarav simply stared at Ken with a cold gaze

"I just don't want to give her false hope. He deserves to be happy with his life" Aarav said casually

"Fuck!!', cried Ken with anger

Yoga and another friend were still holding Ken's hands

Aarav walked away from the class.

Ken looked at Aarav's departure with a look of disappointment and anger.
