Chapter 15: Farewell

The day changed, From the day Angel decided on Aarav, he never saw the young man again on campus. Angel thinks Aarav might be disappointed in her. He often saw Yoga and Karin, but he always avoided them. He no longer wanted to deal with Aarav and his friends.

Angel was sitting on her bed crossing her legs when Arini suddenly entered her room, which happened to be a little open door.

Arini approached her daughter and sat on the bed facing her daughter.

"Angel.mama wants to talk to you", Arini said.

"Speak what ma??" asked Angel

"Mama has decided that we will move from here" Arini said

Angel was surprised to hear his mother's words

"Moved?? Where to go?" asked Angel

"To your Grandma's house. Your grandmother will live alone there, all of us nemenin grandma there. We're moving in there huh??", Pinta Arini

"But ma!, what Angel College?? Angel is 5th semester, Angel's time is not continuing. Later Angel will look for work again for Angel's tuition fee", declined Angel

"Sorry mom son.. Mama just doesn't want you in trouble here anymore. Please understand, my mom is just worried about you. Mama loves you. Mama doesn't want you to do anything", said Arini sadly

Angel just silently looked at her mother. He knew his mother's worries. After all, he has lost his best friend Vania, and also the person he loves, Aarav. He had to sacrifice his college too.

Maybe her mother was right. Other than his mother, he had no one

Angel clasped her mother's hand and looked at her mother

"Yes ma.. Angel will be with mom", Angel said

"Thank you dear.." Isak Arini

Aksara's been coming home from the hospital since two days ago. But he still has a lot of rest at home.

Aarav knocked on his papa's bedroom door. Aksara let him in. Aarav opened the door and saw his father sitting on his bed.

"Why call Aarav??" asked Aarav

"Yes. come here son.", replied Aksara.

Aarav walked up to his father and sat on the edge of the bed facing his father

"What's the matter?" asked Aarav

"Aarav before papa would like to apologize. But papa wants to help you. Please stay here, son. The problem of transferring your college later let papa take care of it. Papa wants you to start helping papa to take care of papa's company. You see for yourself, papa if too tired directly ngedrop like this. You are an adult, papa hope you can understand", explained Aksara

Aarav just fell silent, he knew sooner or later his papa would ask him for this. But he still has business he hasn't finished, he has to see Angel. Karin told me everything on the phone. He should go see the girl and fix their relationship now.

"The matter of your goods later let Bi Iin and mba Yuyun who brought here with the driver. They're moving jobs here again. The house in Bandung will be emptied again. Someone keep this there, later once a week someone will come to clean the house. Fear if at any time we go there so the house is always clean", said Aksara

"Then Aarav returned to the room first pa.", said Aarav

Aarav got up and left his father's room. He closed the door of the room.

Yuniar saw his son coming out of his room, he walked up to his son

"Have you spoken to your dear father??", asked Yuniar curiously

Aarav nodded

"Yes ma has been. ", replied Aarav.

"So how?? You want to stay here right??", asked Yuniar

"Yes ma.", said Aarav

Yuniar was not happy to hear his son's approval

"Thank you, baby.."

Angel was packing her things in her room. He put his things in his big bag.

His heart was too heavy to leave the house. The house was the only memory he had with his father. Because since marrying his mother, his father tried hard to find money to buy the house, so they could misah and have their own home. When Angel was 4 years old, her father brought her and her mother to the house. But now he had to go back to his grandmother's house again, even though the distance from the house to his grandmother's house was only about 2 hours.

Angel's eyes began to glaze over, so many memories here. Old memories with his late father and new memories with Aarav even though only a moment but very memorable for him.

Angel saw Aarav's suit still hanging on the wall of his room. He also walked up to take the coat. He was crying hugging the suit.

"I know we're over, but I miss you so much" Isak Angel.

Angel walked back to her bed and put the suit in her bag on the bed.

Arini opened the door of her room and approached her. Angel wiped her tears

"Are you ready, baby?" asked Arini

"It's ma." replied Angel

"Mama has ordered two objects in front. We are leaving for the terminal now yes.", said Arini

Angel nodded slowly

"Yes, wait in front.."

Arini smiled and stroked her daughter's cheek for a while, then left her room. Angel once again looked around her room, a room full of memories for her. Not long after Angel followed her mother out of the house.

In front of the house there were already two taxi drivers waiting for them.

"Pak please take us to the terminal, yes" Arini told the two taxi drivers

"Well, ma'am" answered one of them.

Arini got on one of the bikes, while Angel was still silent and looked at the house from the front. Soon Angel also went on the other motorbike. They also headed to the bus terminal.

That night Aarav stood on the balcony of his house staring into the courtyard of the house from the balcony.

For more than a week he was in Jakarta, he felt very missed Angel. He tried to contact Angel several times but his number was never active. And at this time he also can not return to Bandung to meet the girl directly.

Aarav reached into his pants pocket and took out his cellphone. He tried to contact Karin

"Halo Rav... Where the hell is. long time not back and forth. how about om Aksara has healed right?", asked Karin from a phone call

"Well, what about Angel?", asked Aarav

"Gue saw him on campus a few times, only he was always avoiding me. Mending you spit back and you tell him everything that at that time he was just framed as well as he tuh Vania", said Karin

"Maybe I won't be back there again" said Aarav

"Why??", asked Karin

"Papa moved my college here and I was told to help papa in papa's company." replied Aarav

"Hmm. yes already if that is so, but if you can not for long, kasian Angel" said Karin.

"Yes, I will do it immediately", replied Aarav.

"Yes, I used to turn off the phone, yes, bye" said Karin

The phone connection was also cut off.

Aarav put his phone back on his face and he looked up at the sky, the night was very bright. Many stars are scattered in the sky and the moon appears perfectly round. Maybe if he is currently with Angel must be very romantic.

Meanwhile, Angel was riding and sitting on the bus. The bus has been running for 30 minutes. Her mother sitting next to her was asleep. Angel stared out the glass of the bus. He recalls his memories with Aarav.

Maybe Aarav will look for him or maybe he doesn't think. He remembers the necklace Aarav gave him, he holds the necklace and he opens the locket. He saw a picture of Aarav there. He began to shed his tears.

"Goodbye.memories.I will always miss you.", Isak Angel.

Angel looked back out the glass
