The Certainty of Bella

" Vit, if Mr. Rizal still needs someone who will be assigned to look after Bella, what not?" ask Jaka when handing over the documents that Vito will send to Rizal when the boss returns from a visit to the client's place.

Vito glanced at Jaka while looking at his coworker from head to toe. Vito suspects that Jaka wants to be Isabella's bodyguard.

" When are you going to wait for Bella, Vito?" grace asked, because of what Vito did, he felt it would be futile because Vito's feelings were not avenged by Isabella

" Till Bella is ready to open her heart to me, ma'am." As per the promise he made to Isabella, Vito was determined to wait for Isabella.

" What if Bella turns out to like other men, are you still going to wait for her, Vito?" Grace is intrigued by Vito's reaction to finding out that Isabella likes other men.

Vito looked seriously at Grace. She doesn't understand the meaning of Grace's question about another man Isabella likes. He felt that Grace's question wasn't just a question. There must be something from Isabella that's related to Grace's question. Or, is it true that there are other men who like Isabella? Who's the guy? Questions filled Vito's head.

" What does it mean that Bella has another man of choice, ma'am?" Vito ventured to ask, though she knew it would be painful if Grace would justify her conjecture.

" I'm just asking, Vito. Any chance that could happen, right? Bella is beautiful and very attractive. There must be a lot of guys trying to get Bella's attention, and there's no way to make Bella interested and like that guy." Grace was talking about something that made sense to her.

Vito fell silent, not knowing what to answer to Grace.

" Sorry, Vito. If I judge Bella's attitude towards you all along, I feel like she thinks of you as a big sister to her. So you better not expect too much from Bella, than later you will be disappointed, Vito." No. Grace doesn't understand Vito's feelings for Isabella.
