Alice's Feelings

Jenny stepped out to look at a man standing behind her.

"Can I help you sir?"

The man turned around, Jenny's eyes were round, his eyes were open looking at a man who was standing in front of him was his first love in college.

"Mike?" jenny asked him to convince him of what he saw.

"Yes Jenn, it's Mike" Mike replied with a smile on his face.

Jenny pinched next to her cheek to make sure what she saw was real.

"Au, sick," said Jenny slowly.

Mike's eyes are still searching for someone to be his destination back in London. His gaze passed through Jenny's gaze which continued to stare at him unblinkingly.

"Jenn, as I know, this is Alice's restaurant huh, what is Alice?"

The question that slightly disappointed Jenny, he did not see it at all even when he was standing in front of Mike.

"Alice, I'll call you back for a second?"

Jenny turns her body to step over to tell Alice that Mike is now coming to the restaurant to see her.

Raymond was ready to go home. His eyes were getting tired from the strokes on his forehead.

Raymond gets into the car followed by Elliot and Albert who finish closing the car door for him.

The car drove quickly at the request of Raymond who wanted to get to his super magnificent residence soon.

In just 20 minutes, Raymond's luxury car began to enter his yard. He immediately came down and went straight into his house.

"Hello, Dad," said Raymond as he passed his father who was busy watching a football game.

"Oh yeah, how's Ray, did you find the right wife for you?" nicholas asked as his gaze led, following Raymond's steps that did not stop, even though he had heard the question.

"Later after I take a shower and refresh myself, we'll talk about this Dad, okay!"

Raymond passed towards his room while raising his right hand as a code for his father.

Nicholas again turned his gaze toward the LED screen, which was large, to return to watch the football match he watched.

30 Minutes later.

Raymond was already seen in his sleeping pajamas, he approached his father who was still busy watching football matches.

"Dad" said Raymond, sitting on the sofa opposite his father, who was still staring at the LED screen.

"Yes Ray, how? nicholas asked while turning off his LED TV and immediately looked at Raymond with a full view of the search.

"I've found the woman I feel deserves Dad."

"I don't want to be like Patricia" lamented Nicholas protesting.

"No Dad, this woman is 1000x better than Patricia" said Raymond, who has been investigating Alice's daily life through Elliot.

"Indeed Patricia has a good in her, if there is no way she could have pushed my mother until she finally got hit by a car to death," said Nicholas who was furious when he heard the name Patricia.

Nicholas's forehead began to throb, as he recalled the demonic woman who had made his mother die.

"I'll take this woman to see you tomorrow,"

Raymond said casually as he sipped the coffee the waiter had brought him.

Most importantly, Daddy kept his promise.

Raymond squinted his smile, he did not really want to marry Alice, he only wanted what Nicholas had promised, if he married another woman, maybe he could not act as he pleased, he just wanted to, but with Alice he was so sure, after marrying later anything can still be done regardless that he was married.

Alice is seen sitting alone with Mike, without Jenny choosing to dodge because in reality Mike is not looking for her, but only Alice.

"I'm sorry I left you without saying goodbye" Mike regretted, staring at Alice's sad face.

"I used to be sad about it Mike, but now I have another life, even soon I will get married," insisted Alice although actually in her heart there are still feelings for Mike, even though there are still feelings for Mike, but Alice reads a disappointed look from Jenny's face, when Mike turns out to be just looking for her.

Mike was stunned to hear Alice's words.

"So I'm late, yeah," said Mike disappointed, his face looked grim.

"For me yes, but for Jenny no, try to open your heart to Jenny, because you are her first love, even now Jenny is still alone," said Alice hoping Mike would listen to her.

Mike just silently did not answer Alice's words, he then said goodbye to Alice with his disappointment. Alice is actually so happy to meet Mike again, but she can not be honest about it, Alice chose to save her feelings for Jenny's best friend. He does not want his friendship with Jenny broken because of a man who is both their first love.

Alice was still sitting staring at Mike's back which was getting further and further away, until she could no longer be seen coming out of the restaurant. Tears could not be felt dripping from her two beautiful eyes, wetting the tabletop mat where she rested her head in her folded hands on the table.

I'm sorry Mike, but I can't sacrifice my friendship.

Jenny found out what Alice was doing, she had long since peeked at Alice and Mike from behind the office door that led directly to where they were, jenny could see and hear what Alice was saying.

Again you sacrifice for me Alice, but that love can't be forced, even if you sacrifice but if Mike can love me.

Jenny decides to chase Mike to the front of the restaurant, passing a route that Alice does not know, Jenny steps quickly, until she can finally see Mike who is already beside her car.

"Mike," call Jenny.

Mike turned his head towards Jenny who had called him, his gaze looking at Jenny full of question marks, he recalled what Alice said made it awkward to start a conversation, he said, although now they have stood facing each other in a blanket of snow falling.

Jenny tried hard to look into Mike's eyes which now look sad.

"Alice still loves you Mike, she gave up on me, so that's what she said to you" said Jenny to her best friend Alice.

Mike heard Jenny's words begin to show a smile on his face.

"Is that really Jenny? ask Mike further.

"About her true feelings she still loves you, but about her wanting to get married that's true."

Mike was stunned, his face back grimly hearing the fact that Alice was about to get married.

But Jenny immediately told him everything he knew about the agreement between her father Alice and a CEO named Raymond.

"If you love her, go after her and achieve happiness not just for you but for Alice's sake," jenny said with a smile on her face as she stepped back and went away leaving Mike still dumbstruck with the last words Jenny said.

Jenny's tears rolled down her cheeks, but she wiped her tears as she continued to step up, wiping off the snow at her feet. Jenny smiled happily at what she had done, in the name of friendship she sacrificed her feelings, for her the main thing was Alice's happiness.
