One of the most beautiful parts of my childhood was there were nights where I lay in bed tem-pat, listening to the radio plays of the wreath
S. Tijabs. From then on, I had my own delusion of the Majapahit Kingdom, one of the largest empires in the long history of the archipelago.
I then had a dream of writing a historical fiction out of the glasses of a woman. Just like Chiung Yao with the story of Manchurian princesses or Danielle Steel who packaged a romantic story in the age of world war in Zoya.
My heart is getting tapped as I look at how people like Dae Jang Geum, Dong Yi, and some South Korean historical figures. At that time, I began to resolve to pack the history of the archipelago into something interesting and more contemporary.
Many countries abroad are proud of historical romance stories. Even India regenerated the story of Queen Jodhaa with King Jalal. Ashoka Samrat told by kem-bali. And other stories too. So why doesn't anyone in Indo-Nesia try it?
But I am grateful, I received a lot of tire-mister in this. Pak Langit Kresna Hariadi (Author of Gajah Mada, Murca Temple, and Majapahit) gave some advice and instructions. So did Mas Putra Gara (Penga-rang Samudera Pasai) who said, “If not you, then who?”. Mr. Tjahja Tribinuka, Mr. Victor Alexander Liem, and the entire Majapahit group also kemu-dian provide info-info on everything Majapahit ten-tang.
I admit, this story is not perfect. This story, I made solely want to invite the reader to explore the greatness of the history of the archipelago. Take wisdom, not argue the truth. My hope, as well as the existence of this novel, readers can invite friends and all around them to duli and learn. Maintaining universal relics, be it physical evidence or extraordinary stories that occurred in the past. Indonesia is amazing! Really am.
