Finally After So Long

Bright day, the sun was shining very brightly. Andra occasionally wiped the sweat off her forehead while sprinkling flowers over her father's grave. Amel stood with his staff next to Andra.

"It's been a year that Dad left me. It's been a long time that I still can't realize all my expectations of me." Andra couldn't help but shed her tears as she recalled the memories of her father.

"Your father must have supported you from there Ndra. Om Joddy ..emm..I mean Dad..must be proud of you...!" Amel rubbed the back of Andra who looked sad to remember his late father.

"It's been a year since Dad died, which means our marriage has been almost a year Mel...."

Andra stood up and held Amel's shoulder. Their views clashed but there was only a meaningful smile on the lips of the two.

Andra told Amel to walk out of the cemetery and into the car.

"Where are we going?" Andra gave a code that he wanted to invite Amel just to walk the road to spend the rest of the day.

"I'm hungry Mel.. We haven't had lunch yet, how about we find some food first?"

"Can...!" Amel smiled happily. Since the accident, Andra has never taken her for a walk, only going out together when she has to check up with a doctor and go for physiotherapy.

"I want to eat Ndra's mums. I haven't eaten that for a long time!"

"But I don't know where the good, halal dimsum is?" Andra scratched her head that was not itchy.

"Ajalan aja.near from here there is a Chinese restaurant, there are many types of dimsum and everything is delicious"

Andra runs her car to the main road and stops at a Chinese Food Restaurant located next to a football field.

They then took a seat facing the city center from there they could see the Prima Go Building which stood majestically among many other buildings.

Amel started ordering some kind of dimsum, Andra just noticed it and did not come to order.

"Where do you want Ndra?" Amel gave a menu list.

"I'm following you Mel"

Before long, the waiter had served the dimsum in a steamed basket as ordered by Amel. The starving Andra immediately devoured the dish.

"Where is Ndra,.. how good isn't it?" Amel chewed his food slowly while watching Andra who was eating voraciously. Andra just nodded while sipping hot green tea from the small cup before her.

"You try this one. It's really good." Amel directed his lumpy chopsticks to Andra's lips and fed her.

Not rejecting, Andra immediately devoured it quickly while pouring green tea from the tea pot into the cup.

After finishing her lunch, Andra took Amel to a cafe and ate ice cream there. There was no chat between them too seriously, just filling the time and going home when it was late afternoon.

On the way home Andra seemed restless, cold sweat came out from all over his body, his head was dizzy and his eyes were twitching.

Amel who realized that immediately panicked and several times wiped the sweat on Andra's face using a tissue.

"What's your why?"

"I don't know Mel. Suddenly my head got dizzy."

"Are you sure you can still drive Ndra?, or we go to the hospital, I'm afraid you're doing nothing!"

"No matter what Mel, our house is close, a little more I can still hold". Andra grimaced feeling her head getting dizzy.

"Oh my goodness, Ndra... That's why your skin has so many red patches?" Amel grew increasingly anxious to see in Andra's hands appeared many red bumps.

As soon as he arrived, Andra parked his car and got out of the car without concern for Amel and ran straight to his room.

"Yepukkk........!" Andra went into the bathroom and vomited out all of her entrails.

Amel patted his own eel regretting what he had eaten with Andra earlier.

"Bi Nur please bring warm water to the room to compress, I'll call the doctor!" Amel stepped into his room and called the doctor.

Arriving in Amel's room, Andra found Andra sitting limp on the sofa and her face pale.

"Andra I'm sorry.I didn't know that you were allergic to crabs" Amel sat next to Andra while wiping the cold sweat that continued to wet Andra's face.

"I've called the doctor, I'll be there soon"

"This is the hot water!" Nur went into his room and placed a container of hot water and a small towel on the table.

"Aunti came out for a while, Non want to buy green coconut for Den Andra. People say drinking coconut water can relieve allergy symptoms."

Amel put a warm towel on Andra's forehead that looks more pale.

Andra again got up from her seat to the bathroom and heard again she vomited the rest of her stomach. This time Andra was silent for a long time in the bathroom because she was feeling weak, Amel was waiting for her at the bathroom door full of anxiety.

Andra came out of the bathroom with staggered steps, Amel then swept it and brought Andra to bed, Andra was not able to hold back the dizziness in his head and he collapsed on the bed.

"Doctor's come, Non..!" Nur's voice came in with a doctor.

The doctor then checked Andra's blood pressure, which was already lying weakly on the bed. "His blood pressure is still normal just that his fever is quite high. I'll give you an antihistamine shot to ease the allergy." The doctor gives the injection and prepares the medication.

"I have prepared an ointment to relieve itching and redness in the skin of Mr. Andra, this is paracetamol to reduce fever, taken every 4 hours and if the body temperature is normal, this drug is stopped only, this ondansetron reliever nausea and vomiting taken 3 times a day." The doctor handed him some strips of medicine.

"For a while this drug will help reduce his allergy symptoms, if there are more serious symptoms, you should immediately take Mr. Andra to the hospital!,"

"Sir Amel please contact me again if needed!"

"Thank you Doc..!" Amel sent the doctor to his door.

"Andra I will apply ointment on your skin, surely this is very itchy huh? Quickly take off your shirt Ndra....!" Andra slowly took off the shirt she was wearing and bare-chested, then Amel began to apply the ointment all over Andra's body which began to redden.

Not finished he applied the ointment, Andra was asleep because of the influence of antihistamines that entered his body.

Amel touched the chest of the field and Andra's burly arms, he could feel his fever had started to drop.

"Andra you're so dashing..." Amel muttered, he was so amazed to see the figure before him, his heart pounding irregularly.

"Cheal quickly Ndra.... I love you Andra...!" Amel whispered softly and buried his head in the chest of Andra who was still asleep. Amel enjoyed every beat of Andra's breath and heartbeat while floating a million delusions.

"Amelite..." Andra opened her eyes and gently rubbed Amel's head against her chest.

"You've woken up Ndra...?" Amel aghast Andra touch disperse his delusion. Buru hurriedly he lifted his head from Andra's chest.

"aaa...I...I...worry about you Andra.So you have a high fever and I'm so scared.I'm sorry that I made your chest tight!" Amel tried to find a reason to hide his nervousness.

"Did Ndra already work?" Amel put his hand on Andra's forehead again making sure that her temperature had dropped.

"Just a little dizzy".  Andra held her head.

"It's late at night, you also have to sleep, right Mel.?!.. I'll sleep on the sofa". Andra tried to get out of bed and onto the sofa.

"If you are still dizzy you do not sleep on the sofa Ndra, certainly will not be comfortable there". Amel pulls Andra's hand and persuades her to sleep in the bed.

"Then if I sleep here you sleep where Mel, your legs still hurt?" Andra shook her head while smiling faintly.

"It's the same with you Ndra!". Amel smiled cackling.

"Can you?" Andra looked at Amel in disbelief.

"If you want why not?"

"Well, if you insist, and believe me, I will not do anything like Mel..." Andra put her body back on the bed and Amel lay down next to her.

Not a word said again from their lips until finally both equally as asleep.

Andra opened her eyes and glanced towards the wall clock. "It's 8. and Amel didn't wake me.!...".

Andra rushed up from her bed but felt the dizziness in her head had not subsided either. Andra grimaced and sat back down leaning on the edge of the bed.

"Don't wake up if you're still dizzy Ndra..!" Amel entered with the sound of his staff coming into contact with the floor.

Nur also went in to bring breakfast for the two of them and placed a tray containing a plate of fried rice and a glass of milk on the table.

"I have to go to Mel's office today there's a meeting with the investors. But it's already this time I'm definitely late". Andra grabbed her phone from the nightstand. Andra rubbed her eyes and was shocked when she saw the reminder app on her phone. "All meetings today are postponed?!... Ahh...for what did Yogi do all this??"

"Andra I'm sorry. I called Yogi and asked him to cancel all your meetings today, if you're still sick how do you want to go to the office?" Amel sat down next to Andra while carrying his plate of fried rice. "Breakfast first Ndra..after that you have to take medicine!" Amel started scooping the fried rice and feeding Andra.

"Thank you so much Mel.you care so much about me!" Andra smiled as she slowly chewed the food in her mouth.

"For a long time I have cared about you Ndra.you are insensitive!" Amel smiled and went back to feed Andra.

"Well, am I not listening to Mel?". Andra grasped Amel's hand and held Amel's finger against his chest. Amel's heart was pounding so violently, Andra's gaze made his heart beat so fast.

"Mel... Try to feel the beating of my heart!" Andra brought her face closer to Amel as she continued to hold Amel's hand on her chest.

"Mel.. I want to speak honestly with you. I.. I. fell in love with you Mel" Andra kissed the back of Amel's hand gently and tapped it on her cheek. He was already unable to contain all his feelings, his ego instantly shattered as he looked Amel in the eyes.

Amel lowered his head avoiding Andra's gaze, the arrogance of his heart broken by Andra's gentle treatment. His eyes began to glaze with no power to hold haru. Her feelings were so sweet to hear the expression of love from Andra.

"I love you too Andra..!" Tears of happiness trickled down Amel's cheeks.

Andra lifted Amel's chin with two fingers and wiped Amel's tears and gave a gentle kiss on Amel's forehead.

For a moment they were equally swept away in his feelings. A smile of happiness was clearly implied on their lips, after almost a year of living together only now did their sense of well-being blend in.

"Andra finish your breakfast!" Amel chuckles when he realizes that the fried rice plate is still in his hand, then Amel goes back to feed Andra.

"You must also eat dear.I will feed you too" Andra snatched the spoon from Amel's hand and it was her turn to feed Amel.

Amel's heart thumped even more when he heard Andra call it affection.
