Special Gift

The night is getting late, the euphoria of the birthday party is still going on. Until the moment of the peak event is to blow the candles and cut the cake.

Amelia was on stage with her father. Andra, Joddy, Benny, Mayra and a few VIP guests were also on the stage and standing behind them. Along with music and songs from the birthday of live band Amel blew candles and cut his birthday cake and gave the first bribe to his papa.

The MCs gave instructions that there was a second special person to be fed the cake as well by Amel.

"For a second bribe I will give to someone very special. People who have been loyal to help and support Papa in running his company, for me he is not only a partner of papa but he deserves a special position in our hearts because of his sacrifice and services to our company during this time" there was Amelia's voice from the microphone held by the MC and directed to Amel who was holding a plate containing pieces of cake in his left hand and a spoon in his right hand.

Amel turned his body back to Benny and was about to give him the bribe. But at the same time Benny's HP fell from his grasp. Benny bent over to take his phone. The spoon that had been filled with pieces of cake in Amel's hands led right to the front of Andra who had been standing side by side with Benny. Andra spontaneously opened her mouth and did not realize that the bribe was not actually for her but for Benny.

Applause from the invitees was heard again and many were giving their thumbs up as well.

One of the VIP guests immediately greeted Firman and Joddy while saying

"Congratulations Mr. Firman, Mr. Joddy. You will soon be a besan".

Firman and Joddy immediately smiled happily and simultaneously thanked him.

Amel looks annoyed because it has been misdirected, but Andra just smiles at him.

Acarapun closed. Several invitations gave Amel a birthday present and left the place.

Now only Amel, Firman, Joddy and Andra are there. Amel approached Andra with a smile.

"Where's the gift for me?" He said as he held his palm before Andra.

Andra just smiled and took out a small box decorated with gold ribbons from her pocket and gave it to Amel.

"Huh...this small, what's the content?" Complain Amel.

"Open it yourself" Andra just smiled coldly.

"Because the show is over, we decided to go home first. Amel... once again Om wish you happy birthday may happiness always be with you" Joddy shook Amel's hand.

"Well, Om, thank you for everything" Amel smiled at Joddy, kissing her hand.

Joddy and Andra left the place. Along the way home, Joddy endlessly praised Amelia and Andra just listened to her without expression.

"The party was amazing... Amel turned out to be very good at taking care of such events."

"Ohya Ndra, what gift did you give to Amel?" Joddy turned to his son next to him who was driving.

"Content Yah... Andra also did not know what the contents of the gift was, this afternoon Andra did not take the nyariin gift so tell Nadya's mother who bought it" replied Andra chuckled small.

Their car continued to drive to his house.

Meanwhile in the hotel room Amel was busy opening some gifts from friends. Amel noticed the gift of Andra that was now in his grasp.

"Let's open.it's a gift from the most special person" Mayra teases Amel.

"It looks like the contents are just cheap goods, the box is only this small" said Amel underestimated.

"Hey. don't judge a present because the cover is too small" Mayra chuckled.

Amel opened it too. A gold necklace with a heart-shaped pearl pendant and the letter A is engraved in the middle.

"Wow, the necklace is so beautiful" Mayra stuck out her hand to take the necklace from Amel's hand.

She immediately remembered how Mayra had danced romantically with Andra.

"Hmmm...only a cheap necklace, The Ice Stone is indeed a very low taste huh.." Amel put the necklace on the nightstand just like that.

"The necklace can be cheap Mel, do not you see the value, but you see the shape, like full of love.

"Allah. I'm not sure that cold guy can have May's feelings, all he does is look for me and also bokap me. You smart-ass man!" Amel spoke while turning his lips.

"Don't be too reproachful so long so praise loh.. now hate tomorrow can be love hahaha..." Mayra teased him again.

"What the hell is May..." Amel shook his head in annoyance.

"Ah...I want to take a bath first Mel.. it feels tiring today, I want to soak in the bath tub for a while to relax" Mayra left Amel who was still lying in his bed to the bathroom.

After the sound of the bathroom door was closed by Mayra, Amel looked towards the bathroom to make sure again that Mayra had really entered there. Slowly he went to the nightstand and took back Andra's necklace. Amel smiled looking at the beautiful pendant on the necklace. An unusual feeling seemed to fill his heart but his arrogance convinced him it was nothing.

The next day....

On the 25th floor of the Prima Go building, Amel walked towards Nadya's desk which at that time Nadya looked very serious with her computer.

"Nadya... Your boss is in his room?" Amelia immediately asked without turning her head towards Nadya.

"Eh Non Amel, Mr. Andra there is Non he inside" Nadya replied while glancing at the necklace that Amel was wearing and then smiled.

For a moment Amel turned to Nadya and realized that Nadya was watching her necklace. Buru hunted Amel turned and he involuntarily touched the necklace that Andra was wearing.

"Something strange about this necklace? Why did Nadya look at me while smiling so" she muttered inwardly as she stepped into Andra's room.

"Hi are you busy?." Amel greets Andra when he comes in and gets Andra in front of his laptop.

"Amel... Tumben did you come in here?" Andra was a little surprised but Andra remained silent not moving from her seat.

"I was going to papa's room, but Nadya said you were in the office so I stopped by" Amel sat in the chair in front of Andra.

"I want to say thanks for the kadonya yesterday" Amel continued speaking while raising his head hoping that Andra would notice his necklace.

"Ah is nothing" Andra replied in a flat tone and her eyes were still focusing on her laptop screen.

"Basar insensitive, he did not glance at the gift at all even though I had tried to appreciate it by wearing the necklace of his gift" said Amel full of annoyance.

Drettt.. dretttt.the cell phone on Andra's desk is vibrating. Andra's hand grabbed her phone.

"Callo.." Andra answered her phone without caring about Amel who was in front of her. Amel was getting upset, and he quickly left Andra's room.

Amel went into the ladies' room. In front of the mirror of the toilet sink, Amel looked at himself full of annoyance. "Based on the ice cube guy!! How dare he cuekin me like this" Amel spoke to himself in a tone of restraining his anger. He then took off the necklace he was wearing and threw it rough onto the sink table. For a moment he held back his emotions and left.

"Miss Amelia.." Not far away she stepped a voice startling her.

An office girl walked up to him.

"Non Amel. This necklace left in the toilet" the office girl handed him the necklace she had thrown away earlier. Amel grabbed the necklace from the office girl's hands with no expression on her face and without saying a word. Amel stuffed the necklace into his bag as he stepped into his papa room.
