Chapter 31

And It Happened Again—

...*****...

...~ Hiro Sato ~...

There are a dozen supermarkets counter lined up neatly. Now I was on the outside, waiting for Yuna to finish with her shopping queue.

My hearing seems to be good. Although vague, but I could hear the sound of some barcode scanners when the self-service products were brought closer to him. The cashiers who served there also look very friendly; they are loyal to provide the best service to their customers who come. After all, it is indeed a rule that exists in all retail companies, so it is only natural.

“Sorry to have you waiting.” Yuna came, while pushing our shopping cart.

As Yuna spoke, the intruding children on the chocolate shelf earlier caught up and came out from one of the cashier counters. It was not too far from where Yuna was queuing up.

“Thank you for the signature, Brother!”

“Hopeful day, Brother.”

“Sister is really very pretty; surely Big Brother's friend who is next to him is again having a crush on Sister!” One of the boys blinked one eye at me.

My face turned red, instantly without a hitch. This child .. his speech was like an adult, I thought in wonder.

“Yes, even though they are still small, but already understand things like that.” Yuna shook her head, while giggling.

My lens is calm. “Is no one left behind?” my question, while smiling thinly.

“No more.”

“Then we can start cooking later,” I said.

The girl was then about to lift some of our neatly packed groceries. It was located inside the trolley, and the five pockets were sitting sweetly. I am ready to act as a man.

Yuna lifted two of them up. The girl's face suddenly turned blue, as if her hand was trying to refuse to carry the heavy weight.

“Hmm, Yuna?” I said, a little worried.

“What?” Yuna's hand shook violently, but I could still see the rest of her smile.

“It looks like you can just bring one,” I said, while grabbing a bag of plastic that is next to his hand. “This is me who just brought.”

Half of that cheerfulness was re-engraved on his face. “... te–thank you, Hiro. Turns out ka–you're a pretty considerate boy too, yeah, he-he ..” Even though the girl herself still looked lethargic.

His hand that was curled up in the sleeve of the jacket must have been very weak. From here I'm sure that Yuna doesn't like to eat much.

When we came out, we heard a voice Thank you for shopping at our place, may your morning please from the loudspeakers hanging above the entrance of the supermarket. The situation around him has not been much different since early this morning, and now we intend to return to the restaurant.

“The temperature is very hot.” I glanced at my watch. “By it's only ten o'clock, which is true.”

“I'm not overheated, you know, Hiro,” he explained, while jumping around no muddle.

“You don't need to say it anymore, Yuna.” I stared at him fiercely.

Yuna was obviously very lucky. The reason, the girl—angin cold that is in her— must rarely feel the eve of hell that often burns this world. I think it's because global warming is constantly getting worse. The salvation of the world seems to be at stake by destiny. I don't know why my thinking got that far.

Not long after, the roar of the wind sounded silent. The air that passed around us seemed to be drawn upwards, like a giant vacuum cleaner stored behind the layers of the sky. Surprisingly we can breathe.

What happened then, as soon as I looked up into the sky—the view beyond that boundary was again visible.

Even this time, something that appeared from the sky was far beyond reason, more than what I had seen on the roof of the building before, along with Yuna.

Up there are many vortexes— colored blue—baseless that are swarming. They had come from various directions and had now filled the sky of the city. Slowly, each of the vortexes seemed to make its own group, fused together, and interdicted, like trying to form something. It was not long before visible living things, and this was very hard to believe. It was a transparent wind turtle with a faint blue body. They were numerous and roamed freely, as if to assume that this city was an invisible bathtub of water. The next thing that surprised me was when one by one of the wind turtles began to descend into space, subtly.

When I turned my gaze to Yuna, she just smiled, peering at the sky from behind her hood.

I went back to watching what was alive or moving up there.

Suddenly something happened. “Huh? What is it?” The cold instantly passed through my body. It was only for a moment, so was Yuna.

“It ...” When she wanted to answer him, Yuna hesitated.

Slowly the creature that pierced us from behind began to be seen. It was a transparent eagle, blue in color—same as the turtle.

“Eh, what does he want?” my question, a little wonder.

“Don't ask me, Hiro.”

After the eagle flew up in the wind, it turned back towards us.

“Wait, looks like we should run, Yuna!” my insistence.

Yuna stuck her finger in her mouth, her face very close to me. “Note around you, Hiro!” His voice is very cold. It seems that the girl was very scared when someone suspected us, considering that something unreasonable was going on in plain sight.

I shaded my face with both hands, just as the eagle was about to head me back, though this time it would take place from the front. However, since the creature is transparent, of course such a thing would have no effect on my physique. Now I'm more worried about Yuna's expression.

Yuna then turned sullen. “I told you, Hiro, just relax.” Simultaneously, the wind eagle again flew high, and it disappeared amidst the advancing clouds.

“Sorry, I'm not used to it yet,”.

The turtle and the eagle are just the opening. In addition, there are various kinds of animals that I know such as dragons, snakes, eels, bison, and many more. They are all made of wind, and come in different sizes. Coolness also began to feel good when the creatures moved past us or the people of the city. Only, people who could not see this phenomenon could only chirp with what they were now experiencing.

“That's right; this, right ten o'clock in the morning?”

“The atmosphere changed again? This way for a long time I can be sick.”

“But this is not bad either. We can walk around in the heat, right? This will definitely be a rare moment.”

Yuna then pulled my clothes, very soft. “Hey, Hiro,” murmured slowly.

The moment the girl saw me, the wind involuntarily waved and slapped my cheeks gently, very indulgent.

“Why, Yuna?”

“What did you learn about wind when you were in school?” His smile turned naughty.

“Which is obviously not like this.”

“Indeed not like that.” Yuna's words were like forcing me to use her opinion. However, there was one thing that I had just thought about.

Regarding the windstorm events that occur in various parts of the world. Is all this behind the scenes? I mean with everything the wind does.

Slowly, Yuna raised her hand, pointing at the sky. “This is how the living wind works in this world,” he explained, as if the girl was making a presentation

All the creatures that fly up there produce air that blows from all directions. It makes it soothing to all sides; all the people on the move; all the creatures that breathe on the surface or in the ceiling of the heart of this city. No, much more than that, I guess they have lived a long time, and there is not a single corner of the world left without the inherent presence of him—by the roar of the wind. I believe there is still a secret from Yuna that has not been solved, and it is possible that she could save the world with what God has bestowed upon her, in the future.

However, since I met him, why am I the only one who can see this phenomenon?
