The seconds on the digital clock attached to the elevator glass door often change over time.

Now we are in it—just two—until this elevator takes us up to the roof of the building. In addition, the interior design that complements the elevator wall also seems natural—like seeing jungle—and friendly to the eyes.

I don't know how we were allowed in, considering this magnificent building is an office building. We entered through the main lobby guarded by two security officers, but they impressed us well, as if paying their respects.

“It feels uncomfortable.” Inadvertently the words were spoken from my mouth.

“Wait-wait, you're not afraid of heights, are you?” The girl slowly approached me, step by step.

“I'm just not happy to be monitored.” My eyeballs shot the surveillance camera with a glittering infrared under its lens. The tiny thing was located in the upper corner of the elevator, and in an instant I turned my eyes back to the girl.

The girl realized my anxiety. “That's all? Just-there you are.” After saying that, he moved back into place. Our positions were far apart again, like pushing against each other's opposite walls.

Elevator floor is made of steel plate. Floor number indicators on small-sized monitors indicate changes in numbers 67, 68, 69, 70 ....

Our upward motion seemed to have no end.

I was sleepy, I thought.

Today, drowsiness has struck me three times. Maybe later I will sleep on the roof of the building, no matter the state of the sun that is burning the city.

Suddenly a tremor began to be felt on the floor surface. The movement of the vertically ascending elevator slowly slowed down, followed by a monitor showing the 84th floor with additional Rooftop text underneath. Just then, the elevator doors opened, like letting us out to gaze at the huge stage above the ceiling of the world.

“Yes, we're up!” The girl ran away from me. He then approached the three-and-a-half-foot-high gray balcony wall, and his face overflowed with excitement. “Come here. The elevator will soon be down,” he said cheerfully.

When the soft tongue echoed in my senses, it reminded me of our meeting at the previous stop.

No, forget about that.

Now I rushed out of the elevator door.

“Wait a minute ...” I slowly approached her, pulling the zipper of my bag and grabbing something inside. “... This is for you.” I thrust the box of ice cream at him, while recalling the extortion action that took place behind the scenes.

“Sorry, but I don't like ice cream.” He pushed the box back to me.

It's a little disappointing, but I should have asked first what she likes before buying her, I thought.

“Hmm .. but it looks like, once or twice is not a problem.” His hands then grabbed the ice cream box again from me, then took it with a smile that evoked my pride. “I appreciate it. Thank you so much for buying this, so happy it feels.” The girl's voice resounded, like a hum that brought joy to every line of this life.

“Ah, the ..”

“No need to linger anymore, I can't wait to see it.” The girl began to shut down while opening her hood, then she lowered her face slowly.

"Him?" I don't know any further.

What exactly does he want to do?

Moments later, a strange air sensation around the roof of the building—cold and blue— was felt again.

It was exactly like on the street where we first met back then.

For a moment, I kept watching his movements. The girl's hair was swaying after the roar of the wind gently blew. The sparkle of her bluish-colored eyes was exquisite, and her slender body made them look like they were complementary.

“Please come ...,” murmured while looking up at the sky.

As soon as the girl reopened her eyes, the chill around us instantly vanished, as if being pulled up.

"I–ini's kidding, right?" My eyes widened, right after turning my eyes toward what the girl was looking at.

My mind often speaks of unbelief, curiosity and doubt coming together and forming something I never thought possible.

Up there, far away and impossible to reach with the end of a hand, I saw something.

That's pretty hard to explain.

"Please tell me this is just engineering or something."

Things like this certainly do not exist, but are really visible in plain sight. Especially after the girl showed it clearly.

Now my mind is increasingly made difficult to think logically.

This is not the CGI of a film; nor is it the fantasy world of a light novel, or even the khalayan that children usually imagine. However, all that is seen here is a reality that is difficult to accept common sense for anyone who sees it.

Up there I saw something living—moving down from the eternal blue sky. It was a cluster of wind that moved quietly, blue, and the color was the same as the girl's eyes.

The wind that formed the clumps of organs looked overwhelming, and I didn't understand why I could count them. Still up there, the winds then slowly gathered together, fused in harmony, then formed a head, followed by the rest of the limbs like a scaly body, a pair of wings spread out, a long serrated tail, as well as feet with shiny claws. Its shape also looks enormous, and the creature looks like a wind dragon.

This CGI illustration really shuddered me.

“Wahh, she's coming, happy ...” The girl's smile widened, like she was satisfied with something she had just called.

Is this real? The question was still ringing in one of the small parts of my brain that I used to think.

On the other hand, I couldn't even imagine whether my current self should feel awe or astonishment; this phenomenon almost split my mind in confusion.

The wind dragon then slowly moved down. He began to traverse the empty spaces between the high-rises of the city, dan—

“Come me now!” The girl clasped my hand firmly.

When he pulled me back into the elevator, I could feel that the cold air had strengthened again, and it was all felt within his delicate fingers.

In the elevator that went down, he smiled with satisfaction. "Have believed? I've shown it, you know; I can make it," he said.

"I believe" I said without hesitation.

“It's the first time I've done that. I was already pessimistic.” The girl shook her head.

Huh uh? I should what? A thanksgiving event for him? "It looks like it's great ...." I don't know how difficult it is to make the creature what it looks like, but after seeing the happiness on the girl's face, this must be a great achievement for her.

“So, what is it like?” ask again.

“You mean?”

“What you see up there; you must know, right.”

I catch my breath and try to calm down. “Yes, you know, a dragon .. and yes, I guess it was formed from a bunch of wind that fused—you made it too.”

“Waah, you really saw it turned out, huh?" He continued to shake both of my shoulders, and over time it grew louder.

“Eh?” I was a little surprised when he asked again like that. Is it possible that my expression shows doubt to him?

However, when I saw her back, the spirit of the girl seemed to be in a great turbulence. "Because no one can see it, so I guess you're the only one who's seen the miracle so far."

No one? Really? my question is in my heart. "Ke–why?"

"Don't ask me, but maybe ...." The girl shook my hand. "... Forget it first. We haven't met, have we? So, your name, your name ...."

My heart went up and down, his warm, cold grasp of his hand simultaneously as if it was clogging the hole I was thinking about. “Hi–hiro.”

“I Yuna, and you are my first friend to date.”

“Eh—serious?”

Truly, that girl named Yuna was clearly very beautiful. However, from what he had just said it was like brushing off his charm.

“This is the reality, because I really should not be friends with just anyone,” he said while giggling.

“Why?”

The girl then took my hand off, and then she put her jacket back on.

After everything that passed, Yuna's gaze returned to me.

“It's confidential,” said.
