Online Cultivator
Breakthroughs

After exiting Cultivation Online, Yusri immediately began trying to move his original body, hoping that Vermilion Phoenix Blood had cured his illness and healed his paralyzed body.

But unfortunately, he quickly realized that nothing had changed when he still could not move his limbs or see the world around him.

However, he was not discouraged, and he started reciting the cultivation technique inside his head, silently praying for it to work.

'Even if my body is still paralyzed, as long as I can cultivate...!'

With that in mind, Yusri proceeded to spend a few minutes cultivating.

"..."

"..."

"... Ouch!"

The pain returned after a while of cultivation, but Yusri did not give up and tried again.

"... Ouch!"

And again.

"..."

"... Ouch!"

And again.

"... Ouch!"

"Why?! Why has nothing changed?! My body is still useless and I cannot cultivate! Why doesn't Vermilion Phoenix Blood work like the Translucent Dew of Flawlessness?! Shit!" Yusri gritted his teeth in frustration and shouted in a low voice but was deeply saddened after realizing that he was still paralyzed and useless, feeling as if his hopes had been shattered.

However, just as tears flowed from his eyes, Yusri suddenly felt a warm feeling in his heart, almost as if there was a small flame in his heart.

This warm feeling gradually became increasingly hot, and it also began to spread throughout his body shortly afterwards.

A few minutes later, Yusri could feel his entire body burning in a hurry, almost like he was in an oven with the temperature rising.

However, this burning sensation does not feel painful, nor is it pleasant.

'It... Is this the effect of Vermilion Phoenix Blood?' Yusri wondered to himself, feeling as if his body was engulfed in flames like a burning phoenix.

Although Yusri was unaware of this at the time, his damaged meridians were actually being restored by the Vermilion Phoenix Blood, hence the burning sensation all over his body.

After sweating a bucket of sweat, the burning sensation on Yusri's body began to subdue, but the soft flame in his heart remained no matter how long it had passed, almost like an eternal flame.

After everything calmed down, Yusri took a moment to clear his mind and started reciting cultivation techniques again.

This time, Yusri was able to instantly recognize the difference, and the difference was as clear as day and night—like breathing with a stuffy nose and breathing normally.

Furthermore, although there was still a bit of pain while he was cultivating, it was not as painful as before and it could actually persist even for a long time at a time.

And a few minutes later, Yusri suddenly felt a refreshing feeling spreading throughout his body from the center of his body to reaching the tip of his limbs, making him remember the first time he was a Cultivator.

'This feeling... Am I becoming a Cultivator?' Yusri wondered to himself because he was unsure. Without the system telling him, he had no proof or confirmation that he had just managed to become a Cultivator.

However, one thing he believed in was his condition—even if he somehow managed to become a Cultivator in the real world, his body was still crippled. With that being said, it was not as if nothing about his body had changed.

Although it was only a little, his body had regained some sense of feeling, allowing him to feel his own wet blanket and sweat when he previously would not be able to feel anything but the weight of the blanket.

"It worked! Ahaha! It really worked!" Yusri began to laugh out loud at his success.

"What works?" Angel suddenly returned to the room with breakfast.

"Oh... Nothing.." said Yusri. He was not ready to tell her yet.

'Just wait a little longer, Angel... Once I can finally start moving again...' A mysterious smile appeared on Yusri's face.

"ah! Brother Yusri! Why is your body soaked in sweat?!" Angel immediately noticed the wet blanket and exclaimed.

"Eh? I think it's a little hot in here..." Yusri said with a strange smile on his face.

"Let's quickly finish breakfast before you catch a cold" Angel said as she began feeding him soup for breakfast.

A few minutes later, Angel calls the waiters to change the blankets and clean the sheets while she takes Yusri to the bathroom to give him a quick shower.

While being cleansed by Angel, Yusri could vaguely feel her hands rubbing against her body, indicating that her senses were actually starting to return.

'Ahhh... How long has it been since I last felt such a sensation in my body?' Yusri sighed inwardly, feeling like he was in cloud nine.

However, a strange and unfamiliar sensation appeared on his body as Angel began to clean the area under his waist, especially the area between his legs. Although he could not understand why, it felt extremely awkward, and he could feel a drift in his spine.

This strange sensation would continue to linger on his body for quite some time, as Angel seemed to be very focused on clearing the area.

Some time later, he could feel the water rinsing his body.

And then he felt a strong wind blowing on his body.

By the time Angel finished cleaning Yusri, the servants had long since cleaned the sheets and blankets in Angel's room, allowing them to sleep on it again.

"I made sure the blanket this time was not that heavy so you don't sweat like that anymore" Angel told him before they entered the cultivation world again.

"Hm? It seems like Feli is still trying to close the shop," Yusri said after not seeing his face inside the room.

While they were waiting for Feli to finish closing the shop, Yusri asked Melia, "How can someone who has just become a Cultivator say that they really have become one?"

Although Melia was at a loss as to why she was asking such a basic question, Melia still answered him, "When one becomes a Cultivator for the first time, they will be able to feel the burst of spiritual energy within their body."

"That's a refreshing feeling, right?" Yusri asked.

"It's true." Melia nodded.

"What else?"

"Well... They would be able to sense the spiritual energy in the air. If one is unable to sense Spirit Qi, then that means they are not yet Cultivators."

'Ah! That'sthat's true! Feel the spiritual energy in the air! How could I forget such a basic thing!' Yusri sighed inwardly. His excitement from cultivating successfully had messed up his ability to think properly.

After asking Melia some fundamental questions about Cultivators, Yusri sat on Feli's bed and cultivated while they waited for her to return.

A little over two hours later, Feli returned to the room with his body slightly gleaming with sweat.

"I'm sorry for making you wait for me for so long, Young Master. I ran into some problems, but I ended up closing the store." Feli said to him.

If not for the few people who were reluctant to beg him to stay in Phoenix City, he would have accomplished his task sooner. Though, as one of the top figures and the owner of one of the most famous shops in Phoenix City, it was only given that his sudden departure would shock many people in the city, he said, especially strong families and individuals.

"Don't mind that." Yusri said, and then he continued, "By the way, I have another question regarding your Vermilion Phoenix Blood. Does it have any effects other than healing injuries, increasing longevity, and awakening Bloodlines?"

"Hm... Another effect, huh?" Feli immediately closed his eyes to ponder.

After thinking for a while, he suddenly opened his eyes and said, "Oh. Exactly right. My blood can also heal a person's meridians."

'Recover meridians? Melia had mentioned something like that before. Maybe that's the reason for my frustration. Now that his blood has restored my meridians, I can finally cultivate!'

After pondering for a moment, Yusri turned to look at Feli before approaching him with a big smile on his face.

"Thank you, Feli! Although you may not realize it, you have saved my life with your blood! In return, no matter how much blood you want from me or when you want it, I'll be happy to give it to you!" Yusri suddenly opened his arms and tightly hugged the slender body of Feli, his voice filled with excitement.

"Y Young Master?!" Feli panics when Yusri suddenly hugs her, as she can instantly feel Melia glaring at their daggers. However, he also did not dare to push Yusri away, as that could be considered impolite! Furthermore, he had told Yusri that he could do whatever he wanted on his body, and pushing him away would go against his promise!

Some time later, as soon as Yusri revealed all his excitement through hugging, he released Feli, who seemed to be sweating even more than a minute ago.

"After all, are you ready to come with us?" Yusri asked Feli afterwards.

Feli nodded and said, "Wherever Young Master goes, this one will follow."

A second later, Feli's body suddenly became engulfed in beautiful golden flames until his body could no longer be seen, and his figure began to shrink until it became a small ball of golden flames.

While Yusri was dumbfounded, Feli—now the golden fireball— flew directly into Yusri's chest where his heart was, disappeared from the room and went into his chest, and Yusri could feel a warm sensation in his heart afterward, and then, Yusri could feel a warm sensation in his heart, almost like his heart was engulfed in flames as well.

'This sensation...' The warm and pleasant feeling in his heart was very familiar, and it quickly reminded him of a similar feeling that could be felt in his original body.
