Oi! Miss Call...
CHAPTER 8 Interview

Can't just talk without action. Just do it, somehow with the results!

~Disra Auristela~

Disra's cell phone rang when the course clock ended. He was surprised to get an interview invitation from a company. “Tomorrow cave interview!” exclaim Disra on Felix.

“Serious?” ask Felix to make sure.

“Seriously! The cave also did not expect to be able to get this piece of call.”

“Outsourcing right? Usually outsorcing the cepet can call.”

“Gua does not apply in outsourcing companies. Anyway, the cave did not want to get rich working on Terabig Net anymore. This is the software company house.”

“Lah, elo is applying at a software house company? Want to become a programmer?”

“I don't want to be a programmer. I don't care about the ability of the cave itself. But clearly, the cave is in many companies. Where there are vacancies, I spread my cv. Issue received or no business later.”

“When is the interview?”

“Besok morning, Lix.”

“Cepet really yes. Cave can not take an impromptu leave, can not nganterin loe.”

“Yes already! Can myself miss me!”

“Yes, be careful. So, no need lockers from the cave?”

“Tetep make a spare! If it is not accepted can apply at the place of loe!” timpal Disra's.

***

Disra is ready with a black blazer wrapped in a white shirt. Combined with a knee-length skirt and pantofel shoes, tie her hair back to make it look neat.

“Dis, your tumben is neat like this? Usually only wear collared shirts and jeans only?” ask Tina.

“Disra want to interview, Mom,” replied Disra enthusiastically.

“You want to change jobs again? Isn't it good on Terabig Net? It ‘kan big company!”

“That's an outsourcing company, Mom. Disra wants to find one that can be a permanent employee,” explained Disra.

“Yes, hopefully pass the interview.”

Disra reached out her hand and grabbed Tina's hand and kissed her mother's back. “Disra departs first.”

“Yes, be careful.”

Disra went out of the house. However, his steps stopped and turned to face the mother. “Bu, Dika already paid money study tour ‘kan?”

“Udah, ‘kan you already love the money.”

“Oh yaudah, Disra forgot.”

Disra stared at the building in front of him, a fairly large office building with the name Barvia Tower building. I don't know how many companies are in the building. He went straight to the receptionist informing her of his arrival and to get a visitor card.

Pressing the 30 button to the intended floor. Melgalaxy Technologies, the company he applied for. “Good morning,” greet Disra at a receptionist on the 30th floor.

“Again, can anyone help?” ask the receptionist.”

“I want interview.”

“Wait a minute yes, Bu.” The receptionist types in front of his computer. “Whose name are you, Bu?”

“Disra Auristela.”

“Can I ask for its cv?”

“Oh, sure.” Disra took out a brown envelope and gave it to the receptionist. Even though he applied by e-mail. Physical cv is required during face-to-face interviews.

“Wait a minute yes, Bu.”

He waited in the interview waiting room with his eyes rolling around occasionally. There were not many employees in the room. The receptionist entered a room. Just a moment later, the receptionist came out again. Allegedly Disra, the receptionist only delivered his cv.

Not ten minutes of waiting. There was a man who called her from the interview room and let Disra into the room. A man about 27 years old.

“Good morning, Sir,” greet Disra.

“Pagi. Disra Auristela?” muttered the interviewer while staring at Disra's cv.

“Iya, Sir.”

“Oke, I Bagas. We go straight, I do not like stale bases,” Bagas said as he glanced at the Disra cv again. “Not yet graduated college Strata One. But, you used to graduate the Diploma three major in information management. What programming language are you good at?”

Disra was silent for a while, she even forgot the position she was applying for. All he knows, this is a software house company. “I master Vb. Net, Pascal, Linux, Visual Basic, Java, Visual Foxpro, Language C, C++, Delphi,” replied Disra confidently.

Not all of the programming languages he mastered. He just mentioned everything he had learned on campus. He was sure, if studied again, he would remember it.

“Can Python and SQL?”

“SQL I can. Phyton hasn't, Mr.”

“You know what company this is?”

“Software house, Mr. Bagas.”

“What's your reason for applying to this company?”

Disra looked at Bagas, from the many letters of application that he spread. Disra did not pay attention to every position she applied for. “Because my lecture is not far with programming language. My previous job, although engaged in call center. However, my position as a technical call center agent, sir. No stranger to networking and SQL. Still in touch with the Information System,” explained Disra.

“Then, why did you resign from your previous job?”

“I want to develop myself. Not to be denied, working for a broadband company improved my capabilities in the field of computers and networks. I work for an outsourcing company. Doesn't everyone have the desire to get better?”

“Do you think working here would be better?”

“No one can guarantee it. The risk will always be there. But, because this is a software house company, of course, it will further develop programming science and it is something that is very useful.”

Bagas just nodded his head. “What can work in under pressure?”

“I'm sure every job has its demands. The term under pressure occurs because it cannot control its work. So, I don't think under pressure is scary, if we do master our work. Loving work will not make us depressed,” explained Disra.

“Alright, we lagsung test only,” said Bagas. He rose from his seat.” Come with me to the next room.”

Disra got up from her seat and followed Bagas. Inside the room was a young man who was focused in front of his laptop.

Bagas knocked on the door for the young man to look. Raska turned his head after hearing the knock of the door. “Pak, Bagas,” says Raska.

“This is any suitor, can you help test?” pinta Bagas's.

“Good, Sir,” replied Raska.

“You helped him yes,” Bagas told Disra.

Bagas out of the room. Raska immediately thrust out a paper and instructed Disra. “Make the result like this, can?”

“I tried, Sir.” Disra stared at the laptop in front of her, there was already a Visual Basic app and she started working on Raska's commands.

...***...

“Dia smart,” bright Bagas. He was already in another room and monitoring Disra from the cctv footage.

“Ya, I know,” replied Melvin.

“Is she the woman you like?” tanya Bagas curious.

Bagas knows, their company does not lack employees. Melvin does not carelessly recruit employees, you can be sure the girl is very important for Melvin. Until Melvin had to make the girl to his company in a way secretly. It's like Disra proposed to their company. However, the truth was their company contacted Disra. Nah! More precisely, Melvin hacked into Disra's email and sent the girl's cv to her own company.

Melvin just turned his head at Bagas without any intention of answering Bagas' question. A step closer to the little girl.
