CHAPTER 14 | Difficult Circumstances

I sat alone, with a drink filled with banana coffee ice in front of me. Best seller at this coffee shop. It's probably been about 30 minutes I've been sitting and waiting for my two friends to come, Dinar and Rendy. I had planned to meet the two of them here tonight, to discuss the surprise party plan we made for Monica, a friend from college until now.

The four of us are indeed familiar, it can even be said to be brothers. Always connected and always try to take the time to meet, even though we are different places to work. But that is not the reason for the division between us.

“Old time, Dell?” the fleeting rebuke of Dinar came from behind me. Of course, along with Rendy as well.

“Lumayan, my drink is almost gone nih.” I showed you my drinking glass. “You guys have a message?”

“At this time,” says Rendy.

Then, the three of us immediately discussed the plans we had for Monica's birthday party next month, right after the new year's celebration. However, suddenly our phone simultaneously reads, the voice of a message from the Whatsapp group. It says that Monica has her own birthday plans.

The three of us spontaneously exchanged glances, not expecting if he would hold his own party.

“So how is this?” ask Rendy.

“Cancel dong, our plan earlier?” Dinar add.

I could only shrug my shoulders and put my phone back on the table. Drink the rest of my banana coffee ice for the last time. My mind waned instantly and again as these eyes watched from a distance, as a car entered the parking lot, right in front of this coffee shop.

Deg! Deg!

And sure enough, the guy got out of his car, I was getting panicked. Whether he saw me or not, obviously I quickly put my phone in the bag, then say goodbye to Dinar and Rendy.

“You guys go ahead, huh? I go first.” I put on the jacket I had brought before.

“Loh, why, Del?” asked Rendy who caught my gelagat, she turned her head and seemed to catch Reza's shadow in front of the shop that stepped in.

“You go ahead, after all, Monic also has his own planning. So we go along with Monic's planning, forget our plans. I'm first.”

As I said that and stood up from my chair, I walked away and passed the man. The man who really hurt my heart until this moment. The man I hate and love with all my heart.

Is it wrong to love another woman's man?

Yes, she does belong to another woman. She has a lover, a woman who accompanies her every day. The woman who until this moment adorned his mind. Somehow his relationship with the woman, which is clear, I still remember what he said first. He did not want to hurt the feelings of each other's partners. A couple!

With a flash I stepped out of the tavern, just stared at the end of my foot and left everything left there. I can't stand it!
