Chapter 33 - Fire

On the night of the party, Sky is seen preparing to wear a red tuxedo with a black shirt inside. The man looked very fresh after cutting his hair and beard around his face. While Elisha was still busy looking for a note belonging to the father who suddenly disappeared, but he was sure to keep it properly in the room. It is strange why the record containing the daily things of the father can just disappear.

"Darling, have you met?" ask Sky.

"Not yet, I'm still looking for him!" elisa answered while opening how many boxes.

"Nothing else next time, let's clean yourself up and put on a pretty dress!" exclaim Sky.

"But sir, the note is important I must find it immediately" Elisha said without turning his head.

Sky stepped forward into the warehouse and stopped the hand of Elisha who was still busy looking for the records belonging to the father. "Darling, there's a lot of dust here so I'll have Nori look for him."

"What if you go there first? I have to be prepared and it will take a long time." Elisha looked for another reason to be given time to find the note.

"Well, but remember I don't want you still struggling in this cellar. I'll go first, then the driver will come back to pick you up!"

Elisha nodded. "Okay, of course."

After Sky softened Elisha's forehead and decided to go first because many people he knew there, Elisha continued his search until it took about thirty minutes. His vision shifted when he saw a familiar red ribbon used to tie the father's notes. "Finally, meet!"

Elisha tried to pull a note down on a big tv in the warehouse. As it was full of dust, Elisha could barely hold his scales anymore. But for the sake of proving his father's innocence he was willing to do everything and endure the pain in the chest. After successfully pulling the object out, Elisha read it directly from the date Sky had mentioned. However, the records do not show his father was in their old house that day. There's only a note that says 'the second day of moving into a new house!'

"Not dad! Sky must be wrong, I must tell him immediately." Elisha opened the next page that said 'My sister Charly looks after the old house and oversees the transfer of goods.'

"Uncle Charly was also in that house at the time of the incident? Is he the one?" mumbling Elisha.

But seeing the personality of his wise uncle it was impossible for that man to harass Arabella. But, it never hurts to be suspicious and find out. Elisha eagerly walked out and told Sky. But bad luck hit him, when he was about to walk out of the warehouse, suddenly the door of the warehouse that was already damaged was closing by itself and could not be opened again. Elisha panicked and banged on the door quite a few times. "Damn! Please open the door!"

Before long, Elisha saw a puff of smoke begin to enter the slit of the cellar door, he immediately went down and walked towards the small window leading out of the house. "Please!" he was sure something was wrong.

Black smoke began to enter the entire warehouse, until Elisha felt the pain in his chest he could no longer bear. He had trouble breathing and began to be torn apart, "Please!" he said again while holding the notebook tightly.

On the other side of Sky who was already inside the party building was chatting with some people he knew while drinking red wine. "Mr Sky, where's my nephew?" asked Uncle Charly with a smirk.

"Uncle Charly, Elisha is getting ready and the driver has picked him up at home maybe soon will be there."

A man with roaring breath ran towards Sky. "What's up?" Sky who knew something was wrong immediately furrowed his brows and introgated the man.

"Master, the fire house! Miss Elisha is still inside with Nori!"

Without thinking Sky pushed the man and grabbed the car keys, he was driving like an orang-in-waiting. He did not care about anything else but the safety of Elisha, it did not take long five minutes he had arrived at the house which was now being filled by a fire team. Sky tried to break through but the officers barred him from entering.

"Fuck any danger, my wife is inside! He's in the basement and trapped in there!"

"Sir please calm down!"

"Are you going to feel calm if the one inside is your wife? Let go, I have to find him!"

Not long after Sky sees a fireman carrying a suffocated Nori. He grew increasingly anxious because Elisha was still not saved, when the officers caught Sky's guard running straight into the flames towards the cellar. "Darling! Did you hear me? Elisha endure!"

Sky kicked at the locked door several times, but his attempt failed. Not long after the fire began to shrink and an officer helped him break down the door of the warehouse. With just a single kick along the warehouse door opened, the smoke billowing down blocked Sky's gaze which was now focused only on finding Elisha. "Sheel!"

In a corner of the room by a small window, Elisha lay helpless. Unknowingly Sky wept then took Elisha out, and the note that was previously in Elisha's hands fell onto the rest of the still burning fire. With a cry and a body so tired, Sky brought Elisha to the hospital attendant who came. Because of Elisha's severe condition, he was finally rushed to the hospital.

Doctors detected her breathing had stopped because the smoke had been steaming for too long especially Elisa had asthma. "Save my wife!" said Sky staunchly.

"Sir wait here, we'll handle it!"

For an hour the doctor tried to save Elisha, thank goodness the woman had already passed a critical period. Sky regretted that Elisha had to suffer for it. Sky waited for Elisha while holding the woman's hand. "Dear please wake up!"

After five hours of unconsciousness finally Elisha's eyes slowly opened, the first time the thing he did was smile subtly at Sky. "I read the note, my father." he was cut off.

"Ssh, you're still weak please don't say anything. Now there's nothing more important than you!"

"My father moved the day before that!"

Sky nodded a few times. "Thank you I believe you. But if you do this again just to make me happy, I will feel very guilty and will not forgive myself.

I love you Elisha, never sacrifice anything again!"

Elisha nodded and rested again. His condition was so severe that he had to be treated for a month. And during that time, only Sky and Nori took turns to look after Elisha. Aunt Jane and Uncle Charly only came to see her once.

"Is there anything you want to eat?"

Elisha nodded slowly. "Nothing, I just want to go home and eat Nori's cooking."

Sky smiled subtly, as long as taking care of Elisha the man no longer worked into a city. He agreed to Elisha's desire to achieve his dream of rebuilding a house along with extensive farms and plantations. "I also want to immediately give a surprise for you, even though this house is not exactly the same as it used to be. But I hope you're happy, because I built it on the same land."

"I'd be happy, let alone see your sacrifice like this."

Not long ago a nurse came to remove the infusion hose from Elisha, now he can go back to the house that has been built again using sky savings during work. In fact, he sold his house in the city just to buy some livestock and plant seeds. "Finally, you can go home!"
