After determining what Elena wants for her wedding decorations later. On the way to Max's office, Rain reports that Eliz arrived home hours ago after a two-week vacation to Europe. Her stepmother invites Max to come with Elena for dinner, as well as introducing her more officially to her parents.
Of course Max initially objected enough. He laughed in his heart because it felt funny when mentioning Ronald and Eliz were to his two parents. Even their biological children would not be willing to call them Father and Mother if they knew their rot. Sara and Darrel must have been embarrassed to admit they were both parents.
“Pak, Aaron also just told me, that he was invited to come to your parents' house. This is no ordinary dinner. Should we find a dress for Miss Elena?” tanya Rain and Max just nodded in short response.
Elena looked at Max's sudden cold behavior. He felt strange with Max's attitude like this. Is it possible that Max's relationship with his parents is not good? Elena shook her head. He hears from Irene that Max helped his father to withdraw shares in the Gilbert family company by including some of their confidants when Irene and Max were still lovers. What makes him seem to dislike?
“Rain, please help arrange everything for Elena. I'm going back to the office to meet Aaron. There are some things I still have to take care of, right?” asked Max and Rain nodding softly at the bench beside the steering wheel.
“Andrew, we stop at Nade Capital Mall. Let Rain accompany Elena looking for a suitable dress,” Max said without any expression.
Elena was still wondering about what Max was thinking about this dinner invitation. Not only that, Elena was also thinking what should she do later tonight? Meeting the person who had already taken away her happiness was something she could not imagine. Does El have to pretend to be happy or does El have to put on a thick face; ignore what happened?
Andrew stopped his car at one of the biggest malls in the city. The mall is certainly only among people like Max who can buy it. Even El never tried to get into this mall. Although he was capable, he would never waste his money to buy an item that even out there he could get more of.
Elena and Rain get off Max's car. The man looked at Elena who got out of the car. She was worried about tonight, but whether it was just her feelings, Elena looked very calm, or was that already her girl personality? Yeah, Max just doesn't know what Elena's thinking right now.
“Andrew wait!” Max stopped his private car. The man immediately got out of his car and chased after Elena.
“El,” Max pulled the hand of his little rabbit then hugged him tightly, smelling the strong scent of El's body that to him felt natural.
While Elena looked very surprised by Max's sudden embrace. Elena glanced at Rain who was now turning her back to them. Elena tried to rebel but Max kept holding her tightly and moved to sipping Elena's nape as deeply as possible.
“Release!” elena whispered in Max's ear, she didn't want Rain to hear it.
“Do you not like me hugging?” max whispered now alternately in Elena's ear. He pressed Elena's nape even deeper into his arms. “You're so stingy, Sugar!” the whisper really pissed Elena off.
Just as Elena wanted to step on the man's foot, Max suddenly let go of his embrace and kissed Elena's forehead; a very sudden thing, but somehow it felt really warm.
“Rain, don't forget to take her to the salon. Her hair was very smelly and her face was very ugly. I don't want my family to know my future wife like a forest person,” Max said, totally ruining the atmosphere Elena just felt.
“Good Sir. I will do my best,” Rain lowered his head.
Max patted Rain on the shoulder and before actually going to mess up Elena's hair, also did not forget the flickering in her eyes.
“Basic flirtatious wolf!” yelled Elena who could no longer bear that disgusting wink.
He did that twice today. It made her nauseous, but it was different from Rain who held her laughter half-dead. He had never seen his boss like this before against women. Rain was certain, Elena must have made him fall in love long before this sudden wedding.

Max arrives first and a few minutes later Elena gets out of the car with Rain because they didn't come together. As Max expected, the woman would look very beautiful even with only thin makeup. His clothes were not so revealing as Max wanted them to be; a possessive man that Rain had memorized so much throughout his work with Max. If at Natt, he didn't really care, then with Elena was the thing to pay the most attention to.
“Do I no longer look like a forest person?” elena and Max just chuckled at hearing that.
Max pulls his girl's hand to be on his arm. Be his queen tonight and act well. The servants greeted them and escorted the couple to the Winston family's magnificent dining table.
“Autny!” tiger's shriek was so loud that Sara could not prevent the full active boy from running towards Elena.
Some eyes were on their arrival. Max immediately took a seat with Elena next to him which the waiter had prepared. Max Winston was the oldest child, his position was certainly next to Ronald Winston who was at the head of the dining table.
Then in front of Max was Eliz, Darrel, Sara and Petter; her husband. Next to Elena was exactly Natt, Rain and Aaron whom they had considered to be different families.
“It seems that Tiger is so familiar with you, dear,” the first greeting from Eliz is so sweet, but for Max it is dangerous.
“Sara said, yesterday you guys visited her house. Why is Sara's house your main visit?” ask Ronald as the head of the family.
I don't know what this feeling is, but Elena felt bad to be among this family of faces that greeted her. Especially, the blonde woman by his side was like she was staring at him hatefully.
“Hahaha, I know you're in Europe. Where can I introduce El if everything has not been collected completely like this.”
