MAX POVS
The clouds looked dark, the rain was slowly falling. While Elena was quietly asleep beside me with the head she rested on the windshield of the car.
“Bu Elena must be very tired,” Rain said as I quietly continued to look at her.
I also cleared my throat for a moment, tidied up my jacket and sat down which was not so comfortable. “He's kebo! I'm sure because I ate too much with Tiger,” I said trying to cover myself who was watching him.
But Rain chuckled for a moment, as well as Andrew the driver who always faithfully took Max wherever it came to chuckle. “But sir, Miss Elena is very gentle and considerate of a small child. She had taken the initiative to feed Tiger when Miss Sara had been nauseous since,” said Andrew and I threw my face out the window, hiding my smile because what Andrew said was true.
Elena, I've been watching you for a long time. If you hate me, it doesn't matter. I just want you to be mine. It's wrong, but I promised myself to protect you. You can't live out there without me, or you'll know how to live in hell without anyone you can count on.
“Already! Hurry along! I'm tired!” I complained to Andrew and the man immediately sped up the speed of my car.
His face returned seriously with such a large street so dense. It took another 20 minutes to get home, pity Elena.
“Rain, what about Sassy, did you solve last night's problem?” ask me again unconsciously steal the attention to continue to pay attention to the kebo girl who is cool sleeping with her head that now continues to sag down and nod indeterminate.
“Aaron has finished it, Sir.” Rain gave me an iPad and that's where I saw the news that the woman who got drunk last night and booked a hotel wasn't Sassy; the artist from my agency that I just gave a contract letter to play in director Edward Hans's latest film.
“Then?” I just kept shifting the news from the press. Well, it's not profitable, not to be able to profit from the damn artist, I've put out a big budget to silence the press.
“Regarding the film, the director didn't mind it because he liked Sassy's good acting, but Sir..” Rain hanging up his words made me take my eyes off the iPad.
Rain looked agitated and I knew what that meant. There's something else that's definitely not fun happening again. I really hate working. I wish I didn't have to work and could make money by sleeping all day. Maybe I don't have to drain my energy and brain for this shitty thing.
“What is it?” I closed the iPad and gave it back to Rain.
“Natalie, you've been calling me since you didn't pick up the phone from her. He asked why you weren't in the office today. It seems, this problem can not be-“
“I know, it's my business. When he calls you just say you don't know, okay?!”
Rain nodded slowly back to look at the streets that are now getting denser due to the hours of returning home from work, but was lucky to creep and at the intersection later we no longer need to participate crowded following bad traffic. A little more we'll be home.

“Excuse me Sir,” I heard my trust steward. Tina brought some nightgowns for Elena and me.
“Just put it up there,” I pointed at the big sofa in front of our room TV.
Tina then put it there, busy closing the curtains and also heading to the bathroom which of course to prepare warm water.
“Master, everything is ready. Welcome to Miss Elena. I'll serve it well as I serve your family.”
This middle-aged woman has been working with my family for a long time. From the time I was 4 years old, she took good care of me and when I got out of the Winston family mansion, I brought my confidants, including Andrew. Andrew is Tina's second son and I grew up with him. They know, the things I like even the things I hate.
“How was today? Is Natalie coming?”
“Iya Mister, as usual Miss Natalie broke some of your beloved items. She knows you hate her and purposely did that to invite you to come to her house.”
I let out a rough sigh of mine, how upset I was to hear that, but I guess, I need to start holding all of this back. This time my patience should be better trained so as not to cause unwanted things before my wedding party and Elena started. I knew Natalie would just be a wedge help for both of us. Obviously I won't be provoked by his anger this time. I am no longer a little rabbit that everyone can set up, I am already a ferocious wolf that can kill anyone.
“Starting today, I want access to this house closed for him. I also want Jon to come back to work with me. Your first son this time has to look after Elena.”
“Mr, but-“
“No rebuttal. I want him to take care of Elena wherever Elena goes. I will not limit his activities so that he is not depressed.”
“Master, Jon just got out of jail. I'm just worried..”
“He must make amends,” I said no longer want to hear Tina's words because for me, this decision is not something he can bargain for.
I walked straight to the bathroom. I know, this decision harmed Elena, but I believe Jon wasn't a bad person. Back then, he hurt me just because he was forced to. I remember exactly what happened 7 years ago. At that time I was very young, while Jon was a grown man who already had a beautiful lover with one child. They had children out of wedlock, and it all just happened. Ryan, his baby boy is sick; forced to have a major surgery for a small fee.
Jon works as my father's personal driver, Ronald. He's been begging to lend him the money, but Dad's so stingy. He doesn't care about little guys like Lala or Jon. I know that shouldn't have happened. I knew Jon wasn't a bad guy, but that night he took me hostage, he hurt me to get my dad to lend him money.
But what happened was that my father was two days late to address me. I almost died, but the police found me at the right time. Jon has been taken to prison and sentenced to 7 years in prison. At first, I thought Dad was really late because he was trying to find me everywhere, but that night I found out the truth when he talked to someone on his phone.
He said he regretted not slowing down his time to save me. I should've died if the police hadn't found me. Since then, I know I'm not Ronald's son. My father was not Ronald. I'm just an orphan in the Winston family. I'm just a tool for Ronald to get what he wants. Hiding his crimes and scapegoating the Gilbert family as the killer of my mother.
