Chapter 5. Big News, who did it?

Something terrible happened last night. There was a murder that left a big puzzle because the condition of the victim was found in a dry state of contortion, no blood left at all and the neck part there is a mark like a colon. This also shocked the board of Vampires because of the incident in Singapore.

That morning inside the old castle of Santosa Island area was held an impromptu meeting. The place was quite closed and there was no access to sunlight. The safest place for vampires to gather when the sun shows its rays. The chairman of the board was angry with the horrendous news.

[HEAVY! FOUND THE BODY OF A WOMAN IN A STATE OF SADNESS. IT IS SUSPECTED THAT THERE IS A MYSTICAL PRACTICE OR DRACULA. DRIED CORPSE COLLAPSES NO BLOOD LEFT! ]

“I'm sure you've read the news today. Last night around two o'clock the body of a woman was found in a hunting-like condition. So the question is, who did this?!”

The question from the Chairman of the Board of Vampires made all the Vampires in the room fuss and charged each other with excessive speculation. Point one another because such events have never happened in Singapore in the last twenty years and this makes the Vampires confused by events like this. Jacob had already suspected some of the Vampires there, but there was not enough evidence yet. Andrew incites the Vampires to accuse Jacob. Things get hot in the courtroom.

“Silence everyone!!! Is it noisily and accusing each other will solve everything?! Why don't you think about public suspicion?! This will trigger a fight only!” The Chairman of the Board of Vampires was getting more emotional with the current state of affairs.

Instantly all the gathered Vampires were silent and did not speak back. The accusation was halted because the Chairman of the Board of Vampires was angry. This is clearly detrimental to the Vampires because humans will return full of suspicion if there are Vampires. The existence of such an incident would trigger a relentless investigation in Singapore and create a row.

“Chairman, how about we check with the existing alibi? Anyone who did not have an alibi last night would be a temporary suspect and should be guarded, ” suggested one of the council members of the top vampire.

Everyone in the room agreed to carry out what the proposal said. They also recorded all the alibis last night the vampires who came that day. There are some vampires who do not have alibis because they sleep and live alone. Vampires are made into saka temporarily and will get strict supervision. Jacob disagrees with this because the alibi could also be fake. Even absurd vampires are accused of being suspects while it is precisely from the lower classes who are very difficult to find living expenses. After the impromptu meeting was over they parted ways and it was late in the afternoon. Jacob and his family returned home with a car that had been provided. He has a vampire driver and a human bodyguard, Irene Stanly. So for an event like this the Stanly family doesn't invite a human bodyguard.

Along the way from the Castle to their home, Mr and Mrs Stanly talk a lot about being careful when out with their two children. Although Jacob and Irene are adults, both parents are still worried because the current condition must be many vampires who accuse each other and try to bring down each other. Moreover, they are in the highest caste position in the drop by in Singapore.

“Jacob, reduce your activities with the women fans because Papa is afraid that the council will suspect you. Then you, Irene, yesterday were you dating a human? Stop it because the news quickly circulated in the vampires. Papa and Mama don't want to hear you guys get into trouble over this though we're sure you're not doing it still a lot of vampires accuse each other,” Mr. Stanly said firmly.

“Why is Papa like that to us? Does Papa suspect his own child?” investigate Jacob who was annoyed by the sentence that his papa said earlier.

“Currently the condition is not conducive so all vampires are suspicious of each other. Mama and Papa just do not want if one of you is suspected by the board,” said Mrs Stanly who was worried about the condition of her two children.

Irene was only speechless to hear the words of her parents because she did not want to argue much. Unlike Jacob who always gets what his parents say. Jacob likes to play with human women who like him, but Jacob does not suck their blood.

“Yes, yes, yes, always excessive worry from Papa and Mama makes us feel very comfortable living in this family,” Jacob quipped who then crossed his arms in front of his field chest. Upset with the thing that is always made overprotective by both parents.

Mr and Mrs Stanly chose to remain silent and continue the remaining journey towards home without speaking again. Know that Jacob will only make things worse if he continues to answer like that. While Irene was still astonished and thought about who the vampires were doing it that made it difficult for other Vampires. It means there was something the vampires were planning to do this bad thing. Irene senses that the conspiracy by the vampire will only create new problems between humans and vampires in Singapore.

Arriving home, Jacob rushes to get ready for work because he becomes a chef of a five-star restaurant at night. While Irene who deliberately emptied her schedule today chose to go into the room only. Irene wanted to contact Vegas because Irene had not brought her phone.

“I'm off to work, Pa, Ma!” jacob who was preparing to go to the restaurant where he worked.

“Iya, Jacob. Working spirit!”

Irene was already inside the room and saw many notifications on the phone. The woman was surprised and delighted to see Vegas call her cell phone several times. There were two missed calls from Vegas and some messages. Another notification came from Irene's manager, Flo Steew.

Vegas Chris: Irene, please reply to this message if you have read it because I am worried about the news that circulated last night. Make sure you go anywhere along with the bodyguard. Take care's.

Flo Steew: Irene, what about your family meeting? I'm worried about that circulating from last night. I called the bodyguards not to follow where you went. Call me immediately.

Irene immediately replied to the messages because she did not want both of them to feel worried about Irene's condition now. But humans do not know that Irene is part of the Vampires. What if they know the truth? Will Irene Stanly worry or stay away?
