Chapter 28. Stewart Dismantles Irene's Identity

The night promised by Vegas finally took place with Stewart. Jacob tonight became a special cook because he has a good certification in his job as a chef. Jacob will serve all the delicious dishes that become his mainstay menu during work. Irene had just come home from work and chose to take a shower first.

“How are you, Stewart? I feel like you've been different lately. But luckily you've come back to being yourself and want to see me.” Vegas talks to his best friend who has been missing for some time.

“I haven't changed, man. You're just too busy with your wife. I've been wanting to visit your house for a long time, but you look busy.” Stewart deliberately came to his best friend's house to see what was there and roughly whether there was anything suspicious.

Sure enough, the warm conversation began to change when Irene had finished bathing and looked pale. Vegas greeted Irene. “Darling, are you tired today? You look pale.”

“Ah, Yes, Dear. I'll take vitamins to make it fresher.” Irene went to the big refrigerator that was special to her.

Stewart observed that and discovered the fact there were many small bottles stored there and recognized as vitamins. Of course the man did not believe it just like that and actually felt suspicious about what was inside the bottle. He secretly took the opportunity to open the refrigerator and steal one of the bottles. After getting the bottle, Stewart went straight to the bathroom to open it and find out what it contained.

“I've been looking forward to this day for a long time and I'm sure all the answers are in this bottle. Vegas often tells that Irene takes vitamins almost every day, like an anemic person if not taking vitamins. It must be a substitute for sucking human blood, or maybe it is human blood packed?”

Stewart opened the bottle and was shocked. It was true what he suspected that the contents in the bottle were blood. “I was suspicious and suspected all this was true because inside this bottle smelled fishy and looked like blood. I'll report this to Vegas!”

“Vegas! Vegas! Stay away from them because they are vampires!”

“What the hell is this, Stewart? Why are you like this again?” Vegas was astonished and did not know how to be embarrassed in front of Jacob and Irene.

“This! This is one proof of why they can deceive you as well as other humans. They drink blood through these bottles which are said to be vitamins!” Stewart threw the bottle on the dinner table and it all went awry because the blood in the bottle was immediately splattered.

Jacob felt angry and did not accept such humiliation so tried to fight back. But Irene held her brother's hand tightly for fear that it would become a much bigger problem.

“Control yourself, Stewart! Why should it be defamatory like this?!”

“Family?! Slanderously said?! Just look at what your wife's vitamin bottles are in the refrigerator right now. Open all the bottles and you see that they contain blood instead of me slandering! These are Vampires! I've been suspicious for a long time!” Stewart is still emotionally delivering on that.
