Chapters 12. The Conflict Without Rest

“Sorry, Mama and Papa. Vegas was watching a live show in the hall and said he would take me home to see where my house was. Vegas forgets the good guys and holds a talk show with me on live television. Papa Mama don't worry.” Irene tried to explain from a good point of view so that her parents did not misunderstand. In the Stanly Family home, all the assistants in the house were from the vampire faction while all the night guards, gardeners, and morning to afternoon shift drivers were from the human faction. The Stanly family treats such shifts to give humans and vampires a chance to work for them. Of course, all the humans who work there do not know that the family is a vampire. They protect information and identity as best they can.
Irene immediately changed clothes and put on thin makeup to immediately leave for work. As usual, Flo and the team pick up Irene's house. They left after Irene brought 'red wine' in a special cooler bag to drink later in the afternoon and evening. Flo smilingly looked at Irene as if she had many questions that wanted to get answers from the woman sitting next to her.
"What's up, Flo? Why are you looking at me like that?" Irene felt that her manager was acting strangely like Irene's team was stealing her eyes. "Oh, how was last night? the Vegas CEO met your parents?" FLO investigates what he wants to know.
"Yes, as usual it didn't go well. My parents didn't like me being close to other men. They actually want to get me, but I don't want to." Irene complained about being delayed alone.
“Wah, very complicated about parents and matchmaking. Surely this isn't fun for you, Irene. Be patient, I'm sure if the Vegas CEO really likes you, he'll definitely try his best to convince your family to accept the Vegas CEO as your companion.” Flo knew exactly the struggle of love because he used to feel there was a man who fought for it even though in the end the man died of illness. Flo has so far chosen herself and focused her career as an artist manager rather than accepting matchmaking from her parents because the man she loves has passed away.

I'm grateful to have such a beautiful and kind-hearted manager like you, Flo.” Irene smiled happily. At least there are still many things to be grateful for, although in life in the Stanly Family, Irene is always pressured and encouraged to do many different things from Jacob who lives in his own way.
Most artists choose to enrich themselves and their managers without thinking of a team that has struggled to fight for the artist as well. Vegas sent a message: Good morning, Irene. Did you sleep last night? Please reply to my message. Are you angry with me?
Vegas sent a message: I go to work first. I still hope you return my message. Spirit of work today.
Vegas sent a message: Irene, I love you. I miss you like crazy.
Meeting Mr and Mrs Stanly did not scare Vegas at all. Instead, Vegas will fight even harder to win the hearts of the Irene family so they can agree to their relationship.
