Grilled Corn

The night at the top was cold. The wind was blowing greeting the bones. Thick jackets had been attached to their bodies. Mang Ikin and Bi Maryam were preparing a burning furnace to burn corn and chicken. Ailee enthusiastically waited.

"Mang Ikin, Bi Ayam, why so long?" ask Ailee. Aksa chuckled at hearing that, just now Mang Ikin was going to light up the charcoal but Ailee had already asked when it was ripe.

"It won't ripen if you keep talking to Mang Ikin. Here come with Papa," said Aksa who sat in front of the villa.

"Ailee wants to burn it herself!" The boy showed Aksa a skewer of corn and chicken, he did not want to move from the small chair facing the furnace.

"Well, it's on, let's apply margarine first just put it here," said Bi Maryam who then immediately taught Ailee how.

Aksa is still struggling with her iPad. His business today is neglected because he did not go to the office. But it's okay, Ailee's happiness is much more important.

From a distance, a car was heading towards their villa. The car's lights lit up brightly, highlighting the area around the villa. After stopping right in front of him, the person in the car came down. The views of Aksa, Ailee, Mang Ikin, and also Bi Maryam were diverted.

"Good night everyone!" two people who just got out of the car. Ailee immediately hugged Aksa for fear of the arrival of Mama and her brother.

Yes, Aza decided to follow Aksa and Ailee as well. But he was sad because Ailee even looked afraid of his arrival.

"Why not say it first?" tanya Aksa approached Aza who led Aiden. Ailee still wrapped her hands around her neck, she hid her face from Aza.

"Liar surprise! Hey, honey, why are you hiding? Come with Mama..." Aza rubbed Ailee's back, but the boy did not budge and instead strengthened his embrace.

"Papa I'm sleepy." - shrewd Ailee.

Aza's little heart was sad when she heard her son's words. Ailee is disappointed with him, so she makes excuses to get far away and never see him again.

"That's corn just as the chicken is ready to ripen, we eat first huh. When we are full we sleep," persuaded Aksa. He signaled Aza not to be sad, because everything would definitely improve. Ailee will forgive herself.

"Keep your needs in the room first, after that join us," said Aksa.

"Yes, Hubby..."

"Let me drive, Neng Aza," said Bi Maryam, he then took a small suitcase from Aza's hand and took her to the room.

Lots of corn and chicken. The smell is so good, maybe the neighbors will smell it too. After Aza entered, Ailee just wanted to come down from Aksa's sling. He again sat in a small chair beside Mang Ikin who was still busy continuing the unburned corn.

"Now, the corn is ripe, want to taste it first?" asked Mang Ikin to thrust the corn into Ailee's hand, the boy nodded and accepted.

"Hey, little boss! Mang Ikin thought you weren't here. Nih, Mang Ikin loves corn too," Mang Ikin told Aiden who had just approached them.

Aiden stared at Ailee for a moment before finally taking a seat in the chair that still left a little space.

"Are you angry with me?" asked Aiden, only given the trousers by Ailee.

"If your mother is angry?" Aiden asked again and was only given another belt without a word being said.

"If you're not angry, why are you silent and just shaking?"

"Comeone!" answer Ailee ketus.

Aksa and Aza who had been watching them also chuckled at the two children sitting together.

"If thrush why can still eat corn?"

"If eating doesn't hurt, it only hurts when talking" Ailee said, laughing.

Aiden began to be irritated by the words of his sister, he grabbed the corn that Ailee was about to bite again. He hid it on his back.

"Give me my heart!"

"No, I'm sorry. Don't be mad at me, I don't like it when someone gets angry!" said Aiden, he still tried to hide the corn.

"really?"

"I miss you, Aiden..."

"I miss you too, Ailee..."

"When I was joking, why are you serious!" sahut Ailee laughed crisply, Aiden became annoyed.

Aza and Aksa giggled at the behavior of her two children. It's always like that, joking around but not overstepping the line. Aza moved her legs closer to her two children, and she embraced them.

"Don't anyone here miss Mama?" tanya Aza looked at Ailee who shifted her gaze.

"Nothing," Ailee replied briefly.

"Uhm, really? But how did you miss you?"

Aza kissed Ailee's face mercilessly. He really misses the kid. The guilt of having ignored him is still shrouded.

"Mama promise will not be angry anymore. You should know that Mama never discriminates, unfortunately Mama to you is equally. All Mama dear," said Aza hope the two children understand. But the twins just blinked their eyes, as if thinking about the truth of the remark.

"Don't run away again, let's not worry about you" added Aza.

"Here's my hug, Mama..." The woman stretched out her hands ready to hold Aiden and Ailee.

The two children then scattered in the arms of their mother. They hugged him tightly as if they were not willing to take him off.

"I'm sorry, Mah. Ailee promised not to be naughty anymore..."

"Aiden won't be naughty either..."

The cold air was replaced with warmth from the embrace of the three of them. The stars that adorned the sky were hugging them. Mang Ikin and also Bi Maryam were moved. While Aksa pouted because no one hugged her.

"Ehem...There is something forgotten here," exclaimed Aksa remained silent in his place. His face looked sad from being forgotten.

Aza, Aiden, and Ailee looked at each other before going over and hugging the man. Aza smiled anxiously, she forgot that her husband was much adorable from Aiden and Ailee.

The night was passed by jokingly enjoying corn and also roasted chicken. The story is endless, laughter is always created.

The sky was not bright blue, the black clouds partially closed it. The air is getting colder. The morning dust is still dripping from the leaves. People have gone to their gardens.

The green tea on the table had already been gulped and left half a cup, the fried banana had just ripened and served in front of him. His hands haven't taken off the iPad, he's still doing a lot of work. He must finish it immediately.

"Hubby, do you want breakfast now? It looks like the children will wake up in the afternoon, so you better have breakfast first" said Aza who then sat on an empty chair facing her husband.

"Wait for them to wake up."

"All right..."

Aksa looks very busy, especially the new project has not been completed. The design of the building is still stored in the office computer. He immediately told Devano to go to the office to move the design and send him to continue.

There will be a new Mall that must be completed soon. But the design has not been finalized and approved by Vincent Group, which the company will work with.

"What's? Who stole it? Have you not seen the CCTV?" Aksa panics when she gets word from Devano if anyone steals data and hacks into her office computer.

He drowned instantly when Devano told himself if the CCTV office suddenly died all.
