Aza woke up when the sound of people snoring. He looked around him, it turned out that there were Oma Maria, Oma Mira, and Anandhi there. He just remembered that he was in the hospital.
Hoekkk...
Aza ran when nausea hit her, she tried to spit out her stomach contents. Only clear liquid came out, his head felt very dizzy.
"Darling..." Anandhi woke up and immediately approached Aza who was in the bathroom sink. He massaged Aza's nape and held her hair so as not to get vomited.
"That's so good, Mah. My head is also dizzy..."
"Yes, that's how it used to be, just for a while."
Aza is done, but still feeling nauseous. He hugged Anandhi, his body limp for a moment.
"Mama will buy you a ginger drink so that the nausea subsides. You go back to sleep."
"I want to go to my husband's room, Mah. I miss him hicks.hiks..."
"Hey, can't cry. Let's stop, Mama's gonna take you." Anandhi rubbed his son's tears before leading him to Aksa's nursery. He was very worried about Aza's condition, very weak.
*****
"Hubby, are you awake?" Aza smiled thinly and immediately ran over to her husband who was seen opening his eyes.
"Don't run, honey," prevent Anandhi but Aza's unnoticed.
"They're..." It is clear that the tears that wet Aksa's eyes, he still did not expect if he survived and was still given the opportunity to hug and see his wife again.
"I'm afraid I can't see you anymore." said Aksa softly at the end of his sentence. The man was still weak, trying strong and still displaying his smile.
"Don't talk like that. Hubby, you rest again yeah let the spit heal." Aza sat on the gurney chair and tidied up Aksa's blanket.
"Darling, why are my legs so hard to move? I tried to get up, but it was hard" Aksa said, trying to move her legs again.
"What the hell's going on, Hubby. You're still weak, that's why it's hard to move."
"In-where is Farel? Farel is Farel..." Aksa suddenly remembered Farel, the man who was in a car with him. The last time Farel apologized to him before he was unconscious.
"Aza, he's fine, right?"
"Farel is dead, Sa. He cannot be saved" Devano said.
Aksa's eyes glazed over, not believing what Devano said. That guy must be fine just like him.
"Za, Devano lied, right? Farel survived, right?" asked Aksa, he clasped Aza's hands tightly and asked for a definite answer to Farel's true condition.
"Farel's gone, Hubby. He can't be saved."
Aksa still can not accept all this, he was disappointed with Farel's attitude. But, on the other hand, he was also not willing if Farel, the man who had been with him since childhood, left for good.
"I have to see Farel, he's definitely in the next room!"
"Hubby, no!"
Aksa continued to insist, his sick leg he ignored. It is stiff and hard to move. He kept his wife away trying to help him wake up.
"Argghhhhhhh..." Aksa fell on the floor, grimacing in pain feeling his legs that were like wood.
"Acts..."
"Why can't my legs be scratched?" aksa asked with tears dripping down, her hands touching both her legs.
Devano and Aza help Aksa stand up and ignore her question.
"Why are you quiet!" snapped Aksa. His voice echoed in the room making the other families go straight in.
"Hubby, calm down." Aza hugged Aksa who was crying because she lamented that her feet were difficult to move.
"DOCTOR! WHY ARE MY LEGS SO HARD TO MOVE?" ask Aksa to the doctor who came in along with the families.
Everyone was silent for a moment, they also shed tears seeing Aksa who was like that.
"Both of your legs were pinched during the accident, we tried hard to repair the damaged nerves but still have not succeeded. But do not worry, if the therapy is done routinely for the next two or three months, and can be more, then your legs can recover again," explained the bespectacled Doctor.
"I'M DISABLED! ARGGH!"
Pyaarrr...
Glasses and food plates on the nightstand were thrown away until Aksa broke all. All the things near him he threw. The person who was there could only quietly let Aksa vent her grief.
"Hubby, you're healing. Two or three months, not forever." Aza along with sobbing made, she tried hard to hold her husband and tried to calm him.
"I'm disabled, Za! You will definitely leave me. Now go, you'll be ashamed to have a disabled husband like me! Gambush..."
"No, Hubby. I'm not leaving, I love you, whatever your circumstances I'll always be by your side."
All the families tried to give understanding to Aksa but none was heard. Aksa raged no koruan.
"GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" Aksa Seru.
"Aza, go. Don't ever see me again, look for your happiness outside. Don't be with me!" aksa said without looking at his wife.
"Hubby, I'm not leaving."
"GO!"
Oma Maria and Oma Mira lead Aza out of the treatment room. They all peeked at the man who was still crying and raging from the outside.
"Hubby..."
Aza can't hold it anymore. She could not bear to see her husband sob under the covers for about fifteen minutes. He entered slowly near Aksa's gurney.
The sound of crying began to subside, Aza ventured to open the blanket that covered her husband. Aksa was not angry, but he just silently looked up at the sky of the treatment room.
"Hubby..."
"Don't approach a disabled person like me! Go!" Aksa's voice was slow not rising like before, but still it hurt Aza's heart.
"Till any time I'll never leave you."
"I'M DISABLED! NOTHING CAN BE EXPECTED OF ME!"
"You can recover if you want therapy. It does look difficult, but I'm sure you can get through this. I'll stay by your side."
Aza stopped her crying, she got closer to Aksa and pulled the man's hand, then directed to her flat stomach. Aksa turned his head, he frowned towards Aza not understanding what his wife meant.
"Whatchu mean? Go there!"
"Basic fool!"
"What do you mean I'm stupid?"
"Yes you are a fool, but stupid is also insensitive!"
They were silent for a moment, Aza still held Aksa's hand to keep touching her stomach.
"There's a baby here..."
Aksa's perfectly rounded eyes looked at his wife's stomach, he then looked up to look at Aza who looked serious and did not play.
"Yes, there's a baby! How many times do I have to say?" Aza is upset with her husband who still does not believe. Aza brushed off her husband's hand and immediately shook her waist.
"I'm pregnant!" said Aza with a very upset tone. And Aksa was still stunned looking at him in wonder. Making Aza pat her forehead, wanting to tear her husband apart.
"Hubby, I'm pregnant!" said Aza with a high tone.
"You're not kidding, are you?" aksa asked with a gaze fixed on Aza's stomach.
"No! So quickly get well. You have to be therapeutic. And remember, get rid of those bad thoughts. I'm not going to go whatever your condition is!"
Aksa stretched out her hand hoping that Aza would embrace her. Aza also leaned her body to hug Aksa who was still lying down. Aksa sucked sedu made.
"I'm not leaving, Hubby. I loved you..."
"I love you too, thank you for being willing to stay by my side..."
The families outside were also moved to see the two people. They were happy that Aksa was finally starting to accept. The most important thing now is how to keep Aksa excited for therapy until he recovers as usual.
