Mr. Alfin passed away towards the teacher's office after several female disciples unceasingly laughed cheerfully. The entrance bell is starting to sound. The picket teacher will make sure all students enter their respective classes. From the bottom floor, Mr. Wildan walked up the stairs. He can become a killer teacher when he sees students arrive late or still sweep the classroom. With a hasty step, I headed towards the classroom that was on the second floor.
All the disciples sat down to prepare for morning prayer. Seeing Deliana looking fit healthy, I breathed a bit of relief. The round-faced girl only glanced at a glance as I walked past her desk. Shortly thereafter, we all broke into prayer the morning before the learning process took place.
It felt lonely when my usual countryman I was talking to now did not go to school. Sarah told me that she and her family were on vacation today. Waiting for the arrival of the Indonesian teacher, I opened the textbook from inside the bag.
"Announcement, Ms. Heni is not present. Last night he was WA and gave the task to review the scientific books in the library. The task must be done two people in groups" said Viki told.
The curly-haired class leader took the marker and wrote down the names of the students on the board. Seeing my name as a group with Deliana, I felt completely unacceptable.
"Vikiiii," I cried.
"No one protested. These names are based on Bu Heni's orders," the man asserted without glancing.
Has not been able to convey objections, he seemed to know the direction of my conversation. Suddenly not so excited to see the friends I want to avoid now actually have to be united in the same group.
"Bu Heni also said that each member must work quickly and compactly. The task must be completed and collected today. Book reviews must also be based on rules as described yesterday," he added.
Acting like a teacher, this time did not look silly face as he usually displayed. I didn't expect this guy to be able to be wise in front of classmates.
All the students seemed to be preparing stationery and approaching one of the designated friends. One by one they walked out of the classroom and into the library. Only the two of us remained silent without anyone wanting to talk first. I was still sitting quietly on the bench, glancing at the girl with a lazy look.
"I want a group with you because it was forced. I need value," he said as he stood up from his stool.
Hearing that, I was upset myself. It turns out that Deliana's attitude is still as serious as yesterday.
"There do your own work. Without you I can also get grades," I reply with annoyance.
The girl clucked. Then walked up to me with the package book in his right hand.
"If it can be done alone, there's no way I'm going to talk to you" he said.
"If you are forced not to force it. After all, who would want the same bunch of ngaduers as you."
For a moment we were silent to each other. I took my eyes off her face. Upset by Deliana's attitude that approached me because it was forced for the sake of a value that he always prioritized.
Playing a pencil pretending not to care, the girl suddenly sat next to him.
"You should be the one apologizing for being so wrong. But since the sane should be willing to give in, okay I'm sorry. Let's do the work together" he asked.
I digest that speech well. No sincerity is heard. There was no visible light on his face. Although that remark really lowered my pride as a friend, I chose silence. Unwilling to prolong the debate, I immediately prepared the stationery and walked out of the classroom first. The girl seemed to be following. I choose to let.
Arriving in front of IPS 5 class, I glanced at someone from the glass window. His face looked shady full of authority. The classroom atmosphere was so calm and quiet as all students focused on listening to the lesson. Mr. Alfin took a quick glance, I replied with a sweet smile. The sharp glances of the teacher were like trying to code that I should not linger to see them. I realized, he would definitely fail to focus.
The library room is located on the left of the teacher's office. The classmates looked astonished to see me and Deliana enter the room simultaneously.
"Cie, cie's new best friend," seduced Viki.
I tilted next to my lips without responding. While Deliana showed an expression of dislike and then waltzed away just like that. I saw the girl was busy picking out the kind of nonfiction book that was on the front shelf. Lazy to be in the same place, I went to look for books on the back shelf. Looking at the book called Miracle Number, immediately remembered Mr. Alfin who was so good at mathematics. I picked up the book and did my own job.
"Why do you do it yourself?" Chika asked in astonishment.
"Those friends who do this will do the work with me" I replied.
Although it is not in accordance with the orders of Mrs Heni, for me this is much better than doing the task full of compulsion and half-heartedness. Two hours of lessons were passed in the library. After the task is completed, the students are gathered and returned to the class.

A moment later, someone who was waiting for him finally came. Wearing a short white shirt with a batik motif in the middle, Pak Alfin appeared cool full of authority. The expensive clock coiled in his left hand further complemented his cool appearance. The aura emanating from that pure white face seemed to transfer spirit energy for me.
"Assalamu'alaikum warohmatulohi wabarokatuh" he said with greetings.
We all answered the greeting. I don't know why I didn't want to stop looking into her eyes. He made my love grow more and more every time.
"How's PR? Any difficulties?" asked Mr. Alfin while looking at the entire student in turn.
"The most Fani Pak, who forgot that there was PR," Rio sneered.
"Just boy. The task of the handsome Master Teacher is done from yesterday," I firmly defended myself.
The thick eyebrows shot up as they stared fixedly at me. I held back a laugh seeing Mr. Alfin displaying such a facial expression.
"Ajeng Fitriani, do the number one problem without bringing a book," said Mr. Alfin while looking at the names in the absent book.
Waiting until a few minutes, my name was not mentioned to work on one of the problems ahead. Though I desperately memorized the formula as preparation when he was about to call.
When Mr. Alfin began to explain the material then wrote the numbers on the blackboard, I stared at the details of his face full of admiration. He is the only young unmarried, handsome teacher.
"Sir Alfin," call me.
"Yes?" friendly answer.
"Don't ask to back down a little you know," he added as if he knew what I was going to say.
Some students laughed when they heard it.
"Not sir, I ask for a little advance" I asked, holding back a laugh.
"Why?"
Unexpectedly, Mr. Alfin wanted to move forward by looking at me in astonishment.
"Let's see my face more clearly up close," my sheep were full of confidence.
The laughter of the classmates finally broke out instantly. I saw Mr. Alfin looking round his eyes. I fell silent while holding back a laugh. I don't know what drives me this bold to turn him around in class.
"Here you go forward," he ordered as he sat back in the teacher's chair.
I stood up feeling very special. It's just that when walking closer, Mr. Alfin stared intently at me.
"There is a special task for the student who dares to overpower me in the lesson hours. Do 20 on page 76. Gather it tomorrow on my table," he ordered in an imposing voice.
I was surprised to see Mr. Alfin's face so firm and serious. The entire seated disciples were heard laughing in satisfaction. I was silent between wanting to laugh, feeling embarrassed and upset myself. Somehow Mr. Alfin's attitude is very different from the teachers out there who are handsome to pass.
Sometimes I want to remind him that I am not only a student, but also a lover. It felt sad to realize that I was just a lover whom he kept secret from anyone.
