Chapter 7. Shock.
Backyard.
Several men and women had gathered in the backyard of Nathan's mansion, all looking terrified because only the people who would die were lined up in the backyard.
They wonder, what is their fault? Are they less powerful? Or they're useless. Everything looked pale and sweaty.
"Don't bend!" tell a man who can be said to be the leader of the subordinates. It was Rayyan, the third important person in the mansion after Nathan and Xeon. His job was to train Nathan's men and also execute whomever his master wanted to kill.
A total of 12 people, 7 men and 5 women immediately stood firm. Looking straight ahead is like doing a military exercise.
Rayyan looked up precisely at the master's room, where Nathan was sitting on the balcony waiting for the execution to be carried out on an innocent person.
Seen as Xeon was taking Diana with her, Rayyan narrowed her eyes when Xeon instead came with a pregnant woman.
"Who is that woman?" rayyan muttered in question.
Seen there, Diana was asked to stand beside Xeon and look at 12 people who were standing firmly but in their faces implied fear.
"What are you doing, sir? Why was I brought here?" diana was scared.
"You'll see for yourself later."
Xeon was coding towards Rayyan, the younger man of Xeon nodded.
Rayyan seemed to pick up a rifle and aimed it in any direction.
Dorr!
One shot shot shot right in the heart of a woman, but the woman was immediately sprawled. It made Diana shocked, only this time he saw the shots in front of his eyes and the target was a human.
"W-what's he doing?" diana with trembling hands.
Dorr!
One more shot shot towards a man, and the result was that he lost his life.
Diana's chest felt tight, her stomach felt very cramped. His eyes are growing and watering.
"Murghhh." Diana held onto her stomach which had suddenly contracted from shock.
Hearing that, Rayyan stopped her shot and glanced at Nathan who looked expressionless. That means Rayyan can't stop.
Dorr!
Dorr!
Rayyan shot two more men, leaving eight more.
On the other hand, Diana could not stand the pain in her stomach. That made Xeon who was beside him confused, as well as Rayyan.
Once again Rayyan looked up where Nathan was, saw Nathan re-entering his room. That means the execution is stopped. Something his master had never done before.
"Take him to the room and get a doctor!" order Xeon on two female bodyguards.
"Good sir."
Diana Rayyan ordered the remaining eight to return to the training room.
The eight men left, carrying the bodies of four of their friends.
They are very grateful to be given a chance to live, if Diana was not in pain maybe their lives would all be floated in that second as well.
"Who is that woman?" rayyan asked Xeon when they were alone.
"How do I explain it, Dad? She was the woman who stopped the young master's car and asked for help because she was chasing the bad guy" Xeon replied.
"And he lives here? How could? Wouldn't the young master not allow a single foreign woman to stay in his mansion other than the servants and the men? asked Rayyan in astonishment.
"There's something unique about the pregnant woman" said Xeon, smiling.
"What's that?" asked Rayyan curiously.
"She can see ghosts," Xeon replied making Rayyan hit Xeon's head with her rifle.
"About you! I'm serious!" hardik Xeon did not accept.
"Where is such a person!" rayyan replied more fiercely and left Xeon. However, Rayyan stopped her steps and walked back towards Xeon.
"But she's beautiful well," Rayyan said with a meaningful smile and left in Xeon's presence.
Hearing that Xeon only smiled a little. His premonition was that something even stranger would happen in this mansion other than the execution stop.
