55. Past Times

The man who was the head of the mafia group was very surprised by what Angga said. He also felt he had met Angga, especially when viewed from the gaze of Angga who seemed to hate him very much. Angga's face also reminds him of someone he met in the past and is still hiding.

Once, the chairman ordered Arden to rob all the houses at the request of someone who had already paid them. The chairman felt that Arden was already able to carry out the task because Arden's ability had greatly improved after he trained him directly. The chief also ordered Arden to kill everyone who lived in the house.

" I'm sorry, Sir. I cannot take the life of another person "reject Arden because he feels incapable and he does not want to do that heinous deed either.

" You have dared to refuse my orders. You can still live it because I saved you so follow all my orders or you will kill me "the chairman told Arden.

Arden could do nothing but carry out all the orders of the chairman even though it was very contrary to his heart.

That night, Arden and the rest of the mafia members went to their targeted home. They enter the house disguised as robbers with the sole purpose of killing everyone who lives in the house.

" Who are you? " ask a seven-year-old boy who came out of his room.

The boy was terrified when he saw many black-clothed adults entering his home. Only Arden was aware of the boy's existence.

" Papa, Mama, there's a bad guy coming into our house "cried the boy calling his parents.

The boy's screams drew other members of the mafia closer and a married couple came out of his room. They were very surprised when they saw a robber enter their house.

" Who are you guys? " said the husband to Arden.

Arden remained silent until a friend asked him to do his duty immediately.

" Quick do your job or your life will float in the hands of the chairman" said Arden's friend.

Arden had no other choice and immediately took out a sword from behind his clothes to kill them all.

" Dear, take care of Angga" said the husband to his wife to take care of their child.

" Yes Mas" replied the wife immediately hugged their frightened child.

Arden attacked the man and could still be resisted because the man had very good martial skills. Arden was overwhelmed enough that he finally thrust his sword into the man's stomach as the man let his guard down until fresh blood came out of the man's stomach.

" My husband "said the wife when he saw her husband stabbed.

" Papa" shouted the boy running towards his father.

While Arden looked at the man he managed to stab with a sword with a look of disbelief and trembling hands. The rest of the mob didn't help Arden at all because the job was for Arden. They are only in charge of accompanying and taking valuables belonging to the house.

" It will be easier so we stay first" said friend Arden then went to pick up valuables.

Arden doesn't care about them because his focus is now on the man he's trying to kill.

Next to him, the boy also continued to cry and hugged the father.

" Please forgive me. I have to carry out this task to kill you ", Arden said with great guilt.

The couple stared at Arden, not expecting Arden to apologize. The husband also understood that this was all planned even though he did not know who ordered Arden.

" You can kill me, but please not my wife and child. Please take care of them "said the husband by enduring the pain in his stomach.

" I'm sorry sir, I have to kill all of you " replied Arden unable to respond to the man's request.

Closing his eyes, Arden attacked and stabbed the wife in the stomach until the couple was unconscious with a body covered in blood.

" Mama" shouted the boy saw his mother also stabbed.

The boy stared hatefully at Arden who had already killed his parents.

" Bad uncle, Uncle has killed Papa and Mama" the boy shouted at Arden.

Arden can only say an apology many times but must finish his task before his friends return.

When Arden wanted to kill the boy, Arden felt heartless and saw the boy as he was. Arden decides to save the boy. Arden smacked the boy's nape so he was unconscious. Arden made it seem as if the boy had also managed to kill him by giving his parents blood to the boy's clothes.

" I'm sorry " said Arden deeply guilty of taking someone's life.

Arden tried to check the pulse of the couple and they were still alive. Arden was very grateful for it and he decided to save them and hide them in a safe place. Arden also refused when his friends would help him throw away the couple they thought were dead. Arden reasoned to throw it away himself because it was his job.

Arden takes them to the house of a friend of his who has a doctor's parents to treat them but he does not take the boy with him. Arden left it by the side of the road. Most likely if one day he will definitely be caught and Arden does not want to harm the boy. Arden was sure there were good people who would find him and take care of him.

" I'm sorry. One day I will meet you again with your parents when the time is right" Arden said before leaving the boy who is the little Angga by the road.

From then on, Arden could only pray that the boy would be fine and he continued to hide Angga's parents to this day. Angga's parents are still alive and in a safe place.

Flashback.

Arden felt very grateful to see the boy he almost killed grow up and become a strong man. He wants to immediately meet Angga with his parents.

Actually since the chairman left the world, Arden has replaced the chairman. Since then Arden tried to find Angga but did not come to fruition because Angga is part of the Wicaksono family whose identity is kept secret. Arden will leave the mafia after he meets Angga with his parents and he is very happy to meet Angga now.
