My Husband Is - Cuek

My Husband Is - Cuek
New Assistant

In the midst of our happiness it was not spared from problems. Two months before delivery, we had problems at the office.

That afternoon my husband came home with a grim face. He walked straight to the study and slammed the bag. When I realized his mood was in turmoil, I approached him.

"Hem, you're not welcome" I said as I walked towards my husband. He was lying in bed.

A long breath came out of Rey's mouth.

"There's trouble in the office." It was still in its original place without moving a bit.

I sat slowly on the bed while stroking my stomach. This hand then moved to stroke her hair. I wish my son would tell me. Who knows, by showing my attention, he wants to bring out something that stuck in his heart.

"That morning the barn burned. Five new cars coming, charred."

"Patience, yes."

My husband tilted and faced me. Now his right hand is stroking gently where his son is.

"The Japanese co-workers are not coming. All the employees had even prepared for his arrival from three days ago. All disappointed. Including dad."

"Patience." That's all I can say right now.

"Wanna take a shower?" my many. He just nodded slowly.

When I wanted to move on, he still prevented me and tightened his arms. His head is getting closer to my stomach. A warm kiss landed there.

"Keep dad, Deck."

"Yes, Dad. Patience, yes. Oh, ja. Bi Ning bring a friend here tomorrow. He said he could catch it."

"Hem. Aye." Yeah."

I put my handsome husband back down and opened his shirt. I asked her to take a shower as it was getting late.

My husband's movements still look lazy when we have dinner. Vegetables and side dishes only he played on the plate. His sight was empty like a barrel. After I noticed, even just a few spoons went into his mouth.

"Still upset?" ask me when I enter the room.

"No" he answered briefly.

"Udah, there will be a solution, really."

This morning I woke up lazy. It's nothing, it feels like getting up carrying this body is enough to make me tired. Being pregnant is not easy.

"Dad, wakeup. It's dawn."

He just squirmed a little with his eyes still closed. I didn't stop here. In spirit I shook his body until he was fully awake.

"Dad sleepy. One hour can sleep."

"Well, it is precisely when there is a problem that we can pour out our hearts with the Almighty."

I got up after making sure he opened his eyes. I hope he wakes up and can pray to the mushola. Hopefully he understands that not only are we feeling happy or lucky, even when we are sad or falling, we also have to get closer to the Power.

By the time I got out of the toilet, Rey wasn't in bed. The kopiah and sajada that he used to wear did not exist. Smile when you start prayer.

"Assalamualaik."

"Getishalight." I walked forward when there was the sound of someone saying hello.

"Bi. Come on in," take me.

A woman was behind Bi Ningsih. She is quite beautiful with Javanese makeup. Kebaya half sleeve with subordinate skirt batik below knee. I even thought that he was a seller of jamu gendong.

"Mom," said Bi Ningsih quickly. He also grabbed the woman's arm.

"Yes, Mom. Excuse me. E, my name is Ponyem. Just call me iyem, ma'am." The sound of his jaw made these lips smile when he heard him speak.

"Yes. Oh, ja. Are you muslim?"

"Enggeh, Ma." (Yes, Mom).

"Please wear a hijab, yes. You want to, right?"

"Enggeh, Ma."

I had Bi Ningsih and Iyem go inside and put all his belongings into the prepared room. It seems like Iyem is a good person, but I don't yet know if he's really a good person or not. Hopefully, he is a diligent and hardworking person.

"Well, this is a picture of Ms Alma and her husband, Bi?" I heard faintly he asked Bi Ningsih as she walked through the hallway towards her room. Apparently he saw my wedding photo stuck to the wall.

"Yes, that's Mr. Reyhan's name."

"Tile, yo, Bi. Well, I, yes, want to have a rich handsome husband lukewarm Ms. Alma." Iyem walked slowly while looking at the photo.

The smile he still had and the focused mind, he didn't even realize I was right behind him.

"Ehem." I'm throttling. This of course made Iyem's shoulders rise and fall quickly in shock.

"Mom. Maap, I saw his picture of the same mother. You're handsome, yo, ma'am," he said. Quickly Bi Ningsih nudged Iyem's shoulder. His face was a little angry at this moment.

"Why, to, Bi. Wong I was honest with Ms. Alma. Can I praise my own employer?"

"No papa, Bi. It wasn't just Iyem who said Mr. Reyhan was handsome. Even my herbal medicine salesman said that too." Now I can judge Iyem. He was clear-headed and honest. I don't mind if he admires my husband as long as there's nothing bad he'll do to my family.

"You go to my room, yeah, Yem. I'll choose some decent negligee, but it doesn't fit my body. And some hijabs that you can wear everyday. Remember, every day you have to get up at four in the morning and wear a hijab when you meet my husband. Understood?"

"Enggeh, Mom. I understand. Oh, yeah, what's my salary, huh, Mom?"

Bi Ningsih held her head like a dizzy person. Maybe he did it after hearing a question from Iyem.

"Eight hundred thousand. If my son is born, you will be his nanny. My salary has doubled. That doesn't include the cost of eating, the cost of buying soap, the cost of getting sick, and THR."

"Well, akeh, Bi." (Well, a lot, Bi). Her face slightly gripped at my explanation.

"Oh, yeah. There will also be a bonus if you work diligently."

"Enggeh, Mom. I-i understand. Mature suwun, ma'am, thank you. I can work here. I am an orphan. But, as old as this no one wants to adopt me."

"How much are you?"

"Twenty years, ma'am."

"OKAY. I hope you don't disappoint me."

"Yes, Mom. I will definitely work hard and will not disappoint Ms. Alma."

"In the scarf."

Iyem just smiled. He packed a few bags and went straight into my room. A few negligees that were still a few months ago bought were already lying on the floor. There are more or less six clothes that I will give to Iyem. There have also been some hijabs since I was a girl I've never worn.

"This. The clothes you wear. Just six. Later I will love you money and you will shop yourself a negligee like this in the market. Understood?"

"Enggeh, ma'am," he answered briefly.

Iyem then went to his room. I also immediately told her to wear the shirt and hijab so that when Rey came home, she did not see the curves of the body that was quite good for the girl with Javanese clothes.
