My Husband Is - Cuek

My Husband Is - Cuek
Conflict 1

Since this morning, until this afternoon, I still think about it. I was finally able to shower after a month of marriage with Rey. That narrow time really made the flowers bloom in my heart.

After I washed the stained sheets, I cleaned all the houses, even though the house was not too dirty.

After I glanced at the wall clock, I suddenly wanted to drop off Rey's lunch.

"Why do I want to go to Rey's office now? But, it seems strange that if I go there, there is no need for anything. Emm, did I bring him lunch, yeah. Okay, let's." Okay."

After conversing alone, I walked into the kitchen and cooked Rey's favorite meal.

I can imagine him eating my cooking. Hih..

The cuisine ripens quickly. I get ready to go back and get dressed to go to Rey's office. With Rey's money, I can buy as much clothes as I want. Even so, I still think about saving the remaining unused money.

Since I got married, I have decided to wear a hijab. Therefore, when I married Rey, I had already closed my aura. This time I will dress up as Nisa Sabyan. The cheeks of this cabi add an almost similar impression to the gambus singer.

Hijab style and a little blush to make it look sweet. Understandably, I rarely dress up at home.

"Hmm, bismillah." I set foot towards the gate and there was already an online taxi waiting for me in front.

"Old, yeah, Mas?" ask pleasantries.

"No, Ma'am. Just five minutes."

I'm gonna surprise Rey. I'll prove, I can get Rey's heart.

"His mother married?" ask driver.

"Udah, Mom. Just one month."

"Gee, newlyweds. Looks, the hell from the look on the face, Mama." He glanced at me from the small glass on the steering wheel.

Before long, the car stopped at its destination.

"Until, Ma'am."

"I give you the fare money and get down immediately." I glanced at the small black watch on the left arm. Exactly at 12. I walked in hoping Rey hadn't had lunch.

"During the day, can you help, ma'am?" ask the receptionist as I approach.

"I want to find Rey" I replied.

"Rey, who?"

"Oh, I mean Reyhan," I explained.

"Who?" ask the beautiful woman in front of me.

"Ee, Reyhan's wife, Alma."

"Well, Mr. Reyhan just came out, ma'am. Looks like it's going to lunch."

I stared at the bushels of these flowers listlessly. Turns out I was late.

"Yes, it's okay, ma'am. Let me just go home" I said as I passed.

My face must be very messed up right now.

I walked out of the building dozens of floors and stared fixedly at the building behind me. I sat on the stairs not far from the office. Suddenly, my eyes caught Rey across the street.

I walked and followed him, he saw a woman.

She's Vina? What the hell is he doing here?

I followed them into the cafe. But I follow them all the way inside.

What am I going there for? Rey wants to take Vina to this cafe, meaning Rey still has a taste with the girl. So, maybe there's no point in me going inside.

I walked away with the tears I held. I was about to cross the street in front of the cafe and book a taxi online in front of Rey's office.

Tiiii...

The car horn surprised me. I almost got hit by that car. The driver in the car got out as soon as he knew he almost hit me.

"Sorry, Ma'am. I was not intentionally. Is it papa?" ask the man to me. His face changed slightly to look at my teary eyes.

"Yes not papa. Sorry, Mas. I didn't see the road."

"I'm going, Mom. Assalamualaikum," I said and left with my head lowered.

I was walking towards the trash dumpster about to throw this food away, but, my eyes were suddenly seized with the sight of a middle-aged lung woman with a toddler.

He was dressed shabbily and held a plastic cup in his hand.

I walked towards the woman. "Oh, this is food for me." I smiled and gave the food to her.

"Thank you, son." He took the bushel with a bright face.

I also slipped some red money in the plastic cup he was holding. I looked into the eyes of the woman who started to pull out a clear grain from there.

"Thank you, son. May Allah give you long life and always be happy" he said.

"Thank you, Mom. Praying."

He immediately opened the bushel I brought and devoured it with the little boy he carried. On the sidelines of my grief, I still feel lucky and still grateful to be able to eat properly and tastefully. A decent and comfortable place to live.

Forgive your disbelieving servant, O God.

I took a breath and walked over to the online taxi that had arrived.

"Lo, Ma'am. How clawed?" ask the taxi driver I met.

"Yes, Sir. We're at this address, yes, sir." I gave you a cell phone that said Mother's home address.

"Yes, Mommy."

The car drove to Mom's house. I decided to go there not to complain about what I saw, but to let go of the longing.

I reached into the phone in the bag and sent Rey a message.

[I went to Mom's house]

The message had been sent 15 minutes ago, but, no answer from Rey. Maybe he's busy with Vina or with his office.

It's okay, what's important is that I told Rey. Bodo time if he's angry.

The long journey made me sleepy and fall asleep in the back seat.

**

"Mr, Ma'am. Awake, Mother. We're here" call the driver from his seat.

I woke up in Mom's yard. I pay the bills and get off.

"Thank you, yeah, Mom."

I walked until I got to Mom's doorstep.

"Assalamualaik."

"Waalaikumsalam," answered Mother heard from inside.

"elvin. Kok alone? Where's rey?" ask Mother.

"Rey's at work, Mom," I replied as I walked into Mom's house.

"Mom, cook what? Alma laper."

"Mother cook vegetable tamarind. Eat there."

"Yes, Mom. Alma change clothes first." I walked towards the room. I saw the corner of my room. The room I left for a month.

This narrow room became my most beautiful place. Here I smile, cry, happy, disappointed. I opened the closet and took out a piece of clothing and a long skirt.

I went out and immediately picked up the rice and ate it greedily. The rice I was carrying, I meant to eat with Rey at the office, but she seemed to be busy.

"Ma, you're late, aren't you?" ask Mother.

"Uhug. uhug.." I coughed at Mom's question.

Seriate...
