CHAPTER 25: Reasons For Anita

Anita just smiled at me and Rendy, while Beby's face looked flat. Maybe he was jealous but had to cover up his jealousy.

"I just got here. It's a healthy snack for mom, she's gonna love it." Anita gave me a big bag of snacks for mom.

"Mother in the room, do you want to see me?" Rendy said to Anita because I suddenly fell silent.

Anita then went to mother's room, while Rendy walked behind her followed by me and then Beby. Mother responded well to us, it seems like mother can recover faster as the doctor said.

"Oh yes Lia, this is a gift from my father, yesterday I went to the island." Anita gave me a necklace and a totebag bag with the name of the place where it was bought.

"Eh but your clothes are just as rich as Dad's. Same name as the place. I think I have that shirt, too." Anita continued again which then made my heart go limp once.

I was stupid to wear the clothes I bought with Beby while we were on vacation together. Because a lot of my clothes haven't been washed so I'm wearing the clothes left in the closet. Unfortunately, this shirt is one of them.

Me and Beby looked deathly pale, my hands trembling slightly to accept Anita's gift. I was confused what to say, whether Anita intentionally or not which obviously I was not ready to accept the tantrum from him or mother.

"Yes the factory makes not just one, baby, Lia is also new from there anyway but the same campus friends." Rendy helped me answer Anita. Again Rendy helped me out of trouble. Beby was silent as a statue. It's as if we're hands off the problems we've created together.

"When did Lia get there? The island is private yes, it must be exciting yes vacation same friends continue on the island it is just us same friends only. We go there sometime with yuk." Again Anita always managed to make my blood disappear from my head. I was so worried Anita found out that me and her father had just left together for the island.

"Maybe, a good idea. Later if mom recovers and recovers again we go on vacation together mom." Said Rendy who was then greeted with a smile by all of us.

Though the questions and statements from Anita are just ordinary sentences, which is possible for people who do not make mistakes like me will respond casually like Rendy.
