88. Light talk

On a slightly different day, Maru ate breakfast with Sora who kept staring at the inn inhabited by Maria. Maria was eating the breakfast she had prepared herself.

"You knew... I don't know how I feel right now. On the one hand I'm upset because Maria is here now. On the other hand I feel sorry, because she is completely different from the old Mary, because of us..." Sora again grumbled which upset Maru.

"Darling, what did I say? Stop your bullshit.... Just think about it, don't think about anyone else. You remember you have to take care of your health, I see you pale now. You're okay, right?" Maru stared worriedly at Sora's face which looked very pale.

"I'm okay, I'm just a little dizzy. You don't have to worry." Sora convinces Maru of her circumstances.

Maru moved to go to the office. He kissed Sora who was still sitting on the chair surrounding the dining table.

Without both of them knowing, a Mary was observing the movements of both of them from the building in front of the second house. Maria smiled wryly, but ended with a light laugh.

Seeing Maru rising from her chair, Maria moved along. He headed outside the inn. He greeted Maru who was walking past him.

"For Maru.. Where are you going?" Ask Maria who does not know Maru's purpose.

"Morning... I'm going to the office... Then I'll pay." Maru displayed a friendly smile.

Maria smiled while nodding her head.

Sora who was still sitting, looking at the sight of Maru and Maria who were mutually greeting each other, made her feel a little worried. However, he immediately brushed off his feelings, feelings that he thought were very selfish.

After Maru was in her car, she was a little pensive. Maru felt bad about the situation and the atmosphere that was suffering from it.

Though the mouth always said not to think of others to Sora, especially to Mary. But, in the depths of Maru's heart, she felt the same way as Sora. However, Maru did not want Sora to continue thinking about strange things that would only stress her out.

Moreover, he saw Sora's face that looked paler.

After Maru left for the office, Sora continued his own activities. Suddenly the sound of her house bell echoed in the room Sora was in. Sora immediately opened the door, and found a smiling Mary at the door.

"Are you busy, Sora?" Maria maintained the friendly smile she emitted.

"I'm kind of bored by myself. Would you mind taking me for a walk around here?"

Sora looked at Maria, but all the worry and suspicion towards Maria was gone. He nodded his head at the sign he agreed to just take a walk around there.

The beach is the destination of both. Both of them walked leisurely with their hair blown by the sea breeze.

There is no important conversation between the two. Just a small talk they talked about, a topic about the life they had been living. There were no words that hurt each other like they had once been.

Maria asked about Sora's state that looked a little pale, Sora just shook her head in a sign that she was feeling fine.

The two are now sitting quietly on the beach.

"I'm so glad you two are living happily now. I've also accepted everything, so you don't think about all of what I said yesterday. Because everything is just the past." Mary tries to give an explanation so that there is no misunderstanding again.

"I understand. You don't have to worry about anything either. Now we can be friends, if you want." Sora smiled sincerely.

Maria looked at Sora who was shorter than herself.

"Are you sure all right? You seem to be sick again like that." Maria again confirmed Sora's condition.

"I'm fine, don't worry. Don't divert the conversation. I said we could be friends, if you want. How's it?" Sora asked again.

"I want to be friends with you. We can be friends. But you have to remember, it's not just the two of us. There are Maru, and also people who know about our past, including your friends. Who knows, they won't agree that we're friends. Aren't you?"

Sora looked into Maria's eyes so deeply, Sora felt that Mary was not the only way her life had changed. But, her way of thinking also changed, she felt that Mary was more mature than the previous Mary.

Both decided to return to the inn. However, when standing Sora's head that feels very heavy makes it look good. And finally Sora fell, he fainted right before Maria's eyes.

The panicked Maria immediately sought help for Sora who closed her eyes unconscious.
