Aiden opened his eyes again, he looked around and sure enough he was now on the clouds sitting on the back of the dragon.
Seeing that he was a little surprised and involuntarily shouted while hugging the dragon.
"Aaaaaa is so high!!!hey you want to take me?! where please don't fly!I'm really scared of heights!!!"
As if understanding the dragon then landed down on the high ground that many plants of various types of flowers there.
Instantly Aiden's fear turned in awe at the sight from below that was so beautiful.
One word on his mind is 'exceptional'
After the dragon successfully landed safely Aiden immediately jumped down.
He stared plainly at the dragon's eyes.
"Do you have a name?"
Huft
"If you don't breathe out in front of me, it's cold!"
The dragon opened his mouth, causing Aiden to be horrified to think that the dragon would eat him now.
"Why did you open your mouth?"
The dragon just kept quiet and kept opening its mouth making Aiden tangent, but he saw the light inside the dragon's mouth.
"You want me to go inside to check what's in your mouth?"asked Aiden doubtfully, this dragon's breathing was so cold that it made his body shiver a little.
The dragon nodded.
"Please promise you won't eat me." said Aiden.
The dragon nodded back.
Boldly Aiden stepped into the wide open dragon mouth cave.
He could see in the sky the dragon's mouth was a very sharp pointed tooth making him shudder in horror if the dragon covered his mouth until it tore his body into small pieces.
The light drew closer and Aiden approached the light.
When he was there he saw a piece of glass that stuck on the tip of the dragon's tongue and the light was apparently coming from the reflection of the glass.
Feeling desolate and guilty for accusing the dragon of eating him alive,he carefully lifted the piece of glass that was as big as his arm carefully and could feel the sound of the dragon ringing that was enduring the pain making him even more compassionate.
After he finished Aiden hurriedly came out as the huge mouth of the dragon closed again.
He brought the piece of glass and threw it away in any direction.
"I'm sorry..."
"Grrrr.."answered.
"Em what if I give you a name?Garfield?"
"Grtp...."
"really?you likey?well, your name is Garfield from now on!"
Garfield seemed happy and walked around Aiden with a small jump, making Aiden laugh for the first time in his life because of his dragon's funny behavior.
Aiden's happy feelings can't be explained because he has friends in the middle of loneliness all this time.
Although the dragon beside him was only a form of imagination from his dreams he did not matter because he was happy to be here!
If he could he'd sleep forever to be with Garfield.
He didn't want to wake up at all!
...
Hi, my name is Aiden William Rayendra.
I was only 19 but I never felt the name of a public school.
I have a handsome brother named Marcel Anggara Rayendra.
He's my good brother, although he used to ignore me and tell me this and that, but I'm happy to do it as long as it makes him happy.
I live with both complete parents and my family is known as a harmonious family in public.
No one knows if there is Alvin Dusk Rayendra, headmaster of the largest and elite school in London, and Diana Rose Sanjaya, a famous restaurant owner, has a youngest son because they never introduced me in public for fear of being the disgrace of her perfect family.
Am I happy to have the perfect family?
Their wealth is also able to buy a luxury car for the birthday gift brother Marcel.
Happy things that people don't think make me happy enough.
And every day or on my birthday I would hope.
I want someone...
Which is not of this world.
To accompany me.
Always beside.
And strengthen me to survive.
Makes me understand what my life really means.
And why I was born only to be stared at hatefully.
Can God grant that?
...
The radiance from the sunlight made the blond-haired young man wake up from his sleep, he stared at the sky of his room with a sad look.
It was noon but his stomach was rumbling because it had not been filled since.
But he doesn't care about it.
She smiled wryly when she heard her brother's laughter from below, surely her brother was joking while watching tv with both parents.
And he was just left alone in the room.
Always like this.he thought.
Somehow no one was worried when he suddenly fainted or went to bed this morning and met Garfield in his dream.
Or indeed his family did not care and did not consider his presence beside them, Aiden was very tired.
Unknowingly a single tear fell on her cheek.
He misses someone, but he doesn't know who that person is?can he close his eyes forever?
'Lord, please take me to Garfield's place because I've missed the dragon again even though we parted for a while, close my eyes forever because I don't want to see the real world...my heart always felt pain and tightness as if there was a sharp knife piercing my heart many times.I've given up and tired.you gave me a life that made me mentally and physically broken,I suffer in this world better I live in a fantasy world that is in my imagination, please let me live there, far away with Garfield.
Even if it's just an unreal dream....'
The deg!
The deg!
The deg!
Aiden felt his heart weaken.
He followed the instinct of closing his eyes back because both eyes felt heavy opened.
Until the last reminder is the voice of his brother who continues to call his name.
He smiled sincerely because in his mind he could see Garfield flying towards him.
Ah apparently he missed the dragon so much even though they were separated briefly between the two worlds.
If he can choose he wants to stay forever in the fantasy world.
Can it?
....
Know you?
Dragons have appeared in many fantasy stories from The Hobbit to Game of Thrones, but where did these mythological monsters come from?
Dragons are one of the most popular and immortal mythological creatures in the world, believed to be real for centuries.
Dragon tales are known in many cultures, from America to Europe, and from India to China.
It is unclear when or where the earliest stories about dragons first appeared, but large flying snakes are described at least as far back as ancient Greece and Sumer.
According to Scott G. Bruce in his introductory book to "The Penguin Book of Dragons" (Penguin Classics, 2021), "In the ancient world they were in the form of large snakes, ready to crush with their body scrolls and kill with their fiery breath."
For most of history, dragons were considered like other mythical animals: sometimes useful and protective, sometimes creepy and dangerous.
Have you seen the movie How to Train Your Dragon?
In the film the dragon continues to capture the public imagination in books and fantasy films, appearing in everything from the 2010 child-friendly film "How to Train Your Dragon," until the books and TV series "Game of Thrones" and "The Hobbit" are more adult genre.
Similarly, the popular role characters Advanced Dungeons and Dragons depict more than a dozen different types of dragons, each with its own unique personality, powers, and characteristics. Black dragon, for example, likes eel — who knows?
