My Family's Secret

My Family's Secret
Go home

***POV ALEXA***

I tried it for five hours but it hasn't worked.

"Alexa," call someone.

"Grandfather Dhanu, I still haven't managed to make it. I have followed the steps correctly but why always fail? What's wrong exactly?" aduku.

"Rest first, you haven't eaten yet" he said.

I'm shaking. "I'm still wondering why I always fail."

Grandpa Dhanu stroked my hair. "Fragal in an effort is natural, son, the important thing is that you do not give up easily. Already now let's eat first, grandfather has asked the chef to cook your favorite steak."

My eyes sparkled at the name of my favorite food. "Steak?!"

"Yes. That's your favorite food, right? Therefore let's now go to the dining room, surely your stomach began to rumble hearing the word steak," he asked.

"Come on." I grabbed Grandpa Dhanu's arm and went towards the dining room with him.

Arriving in the dining room smelled a very tempting steak aroma.

"Let's sit down and eat, quickly" said Grandfather Dhanu as he pulled a chair for me.

With a hungry look I saw all the food. "It all looks good."

"Of course, this granddad chef is a western native so he's an expert at making steaks like this" he replied.

"May I eat all this?" my many.

"certain. This is all presented to you, dear," he replied.

"Thank you, Dhanu's grandfather is the best" I said.

Hearing that Grandfather Dhanu's heart warmed, it had been a long time since he had heard that. Grandpa Dhanu stroked my head.

"Eat a lot of Alexa, you're too skinny."

I just nodded innocently.

After eating, Grandpa Dhanu and I chatted in the living room.

"So how's the lab?" ask grandpa Dhanu.

"Very awesome! I can even be there for hours because there are so many amazing things there" I said.

"You can go there whenever you want but still remember your health."

"Good, grandpa."

"Yes, you've just stayed here tonight" he said.

I'm shaking. "I can't, everyone will worry about me if I don't go home now. Anyway I left all of a sudden so they're all gonna be looking for me."

Grandpa Dhanu nodded in understanding. "Alright, grandfather will prepare a car for you to go home."

"Thank you, grandpa. Can I still come here next time? I still want to try to make it again" I asked doubtfully.

"Of course, you can come here at any time but with the condition of keeping this from anyone okay?"

I smile. "okay."

As Dhanu's grandfather said, he prepared the car and the driver and drove me home safely.

I also went into the house.

"Why is the door unlocked?" my many.

Suddenly someone hugged me. Since the room was dark I could not see clearly who was hugging me right now.

"Alexa, where have you been all day?! I was almost crazy looking for you everywhere" he said in a panic.

I looked at him confused. "Allard? How come you're here? You need to be treated in a few days."

"Blame someone who suddenly left my side" he replied.

I was shocked to hear that and felt guilty. "Sorry Allard, I didn't mean to leave you."

"Please don't do that again."

"Yes." Yeah."

"promise!"

I don't know why it's so hard for me to promise, but I just want to promise.

"Please promise Alexa!"

I doubtfully answered it either. "Yes, I promise."

"Can we go back to the hospital now? Your body temperature is still very high."

"No, I don't want to go back to that fucking place anymore" she said.

Allard shook his head, he still did not want to go to the hospital.

I let out a breath. "How do you want it now? It won't heal if it's not taken care of, baby."

"I want to be treated at home" he replied.

"Yaudah but a promise to be obedient? Can't argue!" my perspiration.

He's nodding.

"Now we go to the room. You have to rest a lot."

He nodded again.

"Please dong hugs him, I'm hard on the way."

She shook her head. "Well, you'll go again."

I finally relented until Allard was satisfied to hold me. I sat on the sofa close to us because if I stood still I could have fainted from exhaustion.

I stroked her hair. "Actually why do you always behave spoiled when sick? The first time you met was also spoiled. What the hell's been going on?"

He just kept quiet.

"It's okay if you don't want a story, but if you want to tell a story later. I want to know everything about you" I said.

"You'll be afraid of me if you know my past" he replied.

"Who said it? I'm just afraid of God and my parents, but they don't exist now so I'm afraid of God" I said.

"I don't mean to make you sad. Sorry.." said Allard.

"I'm not sad, the incident also has been a long time so it's not too remembered," I said.

"You're lying, your eyes are still showing sadness" she said

I chuckle. "Oh, yes, I admitted to lying. Actually, I am still sad and afraid to remember that time so I try to forget it and stay away from the source."

"Away from the source?" allard asked confusedly.

"Yes, things related to that. I hate it so much and I don't want anything to do with "that" thing, I replied.

Allard was surprised to hear that. How could his wife be afraid of the "it" thing while the people closest to him are good friends with the "it. What would happen if his wife found out about this? No. gabe. Allard would not let that happen, he would keep this from being discovered by his wife.

I'm yawning. "Udah satisfied yet? I'm so sleepy."

"Yes, let's move into the room." Allard and I moved into the bedroom and went to bed.

Bend day.

When I woke up, Allard was still hugging me. I slowly let go of his arms and went to get the thermometer.

"Thank God it's getting hot."

I cleaned myself and prepared breakfast. For breakfast today I decided to make porridge so Allard could eat comfortably.

After the porridge was ripe, I poured it into the bowl and took it to the room.

"Allard, wake. Breakfast first." He's wriggling. I'm the one who saw that laughing because at the moment Allard is so adorable. "Hey, let's get up."

Again. He just squirmed and turned his body.

"Oh, if you don't want to eat, I'll go."

Hearing that, Allard immediately opened his eyes and woke up. "Don't go."

"Makanya let's get up. Breakfast used to be over that take the medicine."

He finally nodded.

In between breakfast, Allard asked, "Oh yeah you haven't answered my question last night, where did you go all day yesterday? Why can't we all find traces of you?"

"really? Well that's good news," I said gladly.

Allard was confused to hear it. "Good news? Why?"

"Yes, so when I don't want to meet anyone I can go there because no one can find me." Honest though I speak like that but there is a sense of awkwardness in my heart. How could my wonderful family not find any trace of me? Was Dhanu's grandfather's house given a signal barrier so they couldn't track?

"Your phone can't be called either."

"That's because I left my phone at home."

"Never leave your phone again next time!" his sweat.

"Yes." Yeah."

Finished breakfast I gave the medicine to Allard. Allard drank it and soon fell asleep.

I deliberately gave the drug that had a drowsy effect so that Allard could rest after eating.
