Prologues

"Alexa, wake up baby."

I, disturbed by the sound, began to open my eyes.

"Let's wake up. You will be late for work. You said today there's an operation schedule, right?"

"OH YEAH, I FORGOT!" I got up and took a shower.

Someone who saw that just shook their head with a smile. "Sister wait in the dining room same grandpa huh. Quickly down!"

After I finished preparing, I went downstairs to the older brother and grandfather who were waiting in the dining room.

Night came and I was still in the hospital looking after my patients. I can actually go home, but I want to calm down here. Taking care of the patient makes me feel calm.

"May and make one for yourself, too" I replied.

While waiting for Merry, I played a game that was on my phone.

I went out to see what happened. I saw Merry sitting on the floor in his pants wet from the tea he was carrying.

"Oh my God, Merry, I'll treat you" I said as I helped her up.

"Alexa, it looks like the man needs your treatment more" Merry said, pointing to a man who had fainted.

I approached the man to see his condition. How surprised I was to see her full of cuts. I called the officer to help bring the man into my room. After I treated the man, I continued to treat Merry. "Done. The wound should not hit the water first!"

"Yes, thank you, Alexa."

"Sama-sama, now you can go home. Your work hours are over."

She shook her head. "I won't be home until you get home. That's my master's order."

"It's Merry, I'll talk to Grandpa. You're hurt and you need to rest early."

"It's okay, it's just a small wound."

"No, I'm still forcing you to go home. It's very late anyway."

"Ta—" Haven't had time for Merry to continue her words, I've pulled her out and drove her home.

It didn't take long, we both got to Merry's house.

"I'm sorry you had to bother driving me home."

I who was careless to listen to his apology also immediately pinched his cheek. "Don't keep apologizing Merry. I wasn't hungry anyway."

"No, all I feel right now is hunger. I'm gone first, you rest." After saying that I immediately rushed away before Merry said anything else again.

After buying food, I went back to the hospital.

When I opened the door, I saw the man still asleep. While waiting, I ate the food I had bought on the road earlier.

I rushed to him and helped him sit down. "You're in my room." I took the stethoscope and checked it.

He shook my hand and looked at me sharply.

"I just want to check on you, sir."

"no need. I will transfer the money for his hospital fee" he said, trying to stand up again. But fell again.

"Sit down, you've just lost enough blood that's why your legs feel limp" I explained.

Since he didn't want to be checked, I let him and gave him the bowl of porridge I had bought earlier. "Eat this. I just bought it."

Again and again he refused.

"Please don't be stubborn, sir! You must eat to have energy. You said you wanted to go home, right?"

He just kept quiet. With initiative I bribed him and he was surprised by what I did.

"Eat, I'll feed you slowly." Surprisingly, he did not refuse. He opened his mouth and ate his porridge.

Wanted to be bribed. Doang body is big but its nature is like children haha. I said in my heart.

Soon the porridge was finished. I put the bowl down and gave him medicine. He took the medicine.

Hmm?? How do you want to go directly? It's tame as it is. I said again in my heart.

"Now go to sleep again. It's still night. I'll take care of you," I said.

"No, I'll pul—" Not finished he spoke, suddenly his body fell.

"Why does this guy always want to go home? It's a good thing I gave him some sleeping pills earlier, so he can rest first."

I looked at the city through my window. "You guys left me a long time ago. Sometimes I still have a hard time accepting this" I murmured.

I heard someone calling and opened my eyes.

"Merry's? What are you doing here?" many confused.

"You're staying here for the night?" instead of answering, he asked back.

I saw Merry take a long breath. Ah this is a bad sign, I'm sure there will be a long lecture if I don't stop it immediately.

"Merry, I'm hungry. Let's have breakfast together in the cafeteria," take me with puppy eyes. If it had been like this, Merry would have been unable to resist. He could only nod. Before we leave, I want to make sure my patients are. Everything was better except one man.

"When you came here, did you see a man who was injured last night?" I asked, because the man was not in his place.

"No, when I came in there was only you" he replied.

"The edges are blurred as well," I said sighing.

"What's Alexa?" merry was confused.

"There's nothing, you let's have breakfast."

I had breakfast that morning with a feeling of unease. Aside from thinking about that runaway man, I also felt that something was going to happen.

"Alexa, sir wants to talk to you" said Merry, handing over her phone.

I took it too.

"Hello grandpa," I said.

"Alexa, where were you last night? Why not go home? Don't you know that grandpa's worried, huh?" ask grandpa in succession.

"Calm grandpa. I spent the night in the hospital and I was fine" I replied.

"Why not tell grandpa?"

"Because I know Grandpa won't let it."

"You're so stubborn, this is why grandpa can't stop worrying about you."

"Grandfather, I'm an adult. I can take care of myself."

"Go home now!"

"I can't, I still have a job here."

"Alexa, grandfather received no rebuttal. So go home now!"

"Please understand grandfather. I'll be home after my work is done."

"No. Grandpa will introduce you to someone and you should be home by noon."

After saying that, his phone was turned off. I can't argue that Grandpa is like this.

"You can go home now, Merry," I said.

"Why? Isn't my home time still long?" tanyakanya.

"I'm being told by Grandpa to go home now. So I'll go straight home after this" I replied.

Merry just nodded and didn't ask much more.
