Chapter 2

Jacob walked into Alex's room with a big smile engraved on his handsome face, carrying some files that his best friend had asked for. Although Jacob had to sacrifice his time just to find an information about the woman he met at the cafe yesterday. If Jacob had refused Alex's orders, then he would have accepted that the man would have gone berserk and just finished him off.

Jacob walked up to Alex who was still busy with some of his work files. "Look I've brought some information you've asked me about that beautiful woman!"

"The woman is 23-year-old Valerie Elvan Kanoa and she just finished her studies this year at the University of London!" Jacob continued to tell me a little about the woman's information.

Alex smiled with satisfaction when he received some files from Jacob, he noticed one by one the information contained in the file. "Valerie! A name that matches his face that looks very sad!" Alex laughed as he said the name of the woman he was looking for.

"He's an only child and now he lives alone because his parents died in an accident a few years ago!" Said Jacob while sitting and leaning against a neatly arranged sofa in Alex's workspace.

Alex could not stop smiling, not knowing what came to his mind until he was very curious about the woman named Valerie. Who dared insult him in the cafe by watering his body with a drink that is very disgusting.

"Good work Jack!" Alex praised the hard work of his best friend.

It was not in vain that Alex made his best friend as his personal assistant. Because Jacob always makes Alex satisfied with his performance when ordered to find information needed by him. And it didn't take long for Jacob to find information about Valerie.

"Let's relax lex I'm just kidding! I don't care about your story either. All right, I'm going!" Jacob passed away leaving Alex, not wanting to find trouble with the very cold man.

Valerie continued to look at the watch that was placed beautifully in her small hand. He ran to the bus stop because he did not want to be late on his first day working at a large company that had been his dream.

"I can't be late on the first day of work. It's possible that the company didn't recruit me as the new secretary at the company!" Lirih Valerie who did not stop looking at the clock in her hand.

Until finally he hit someone for focusing too much on his watch, and Valerie cursed herself for her carelessness. "Sorry I didn't mean it!" Valerie said while helping to clean up some of the items that fell belonging to the person she hit.

"Vallery!" Shouted a woman right in Valerie's ear and made Valerie surprised because it turns out that he was hit by his best friend when he was in college.

"Adriana! You just surprised me. I'm sorry that I was unintentional because I was in a hurry" Valerie said as she clasped her best friend's hand.

"No problem val, is this your first day at work? You look so pretty in your clothes!" Adriana continued to praise Valerie and made her best friend wrong.

Valerie's gaze was fixed on a bus that had come to him, and he immediately resigned to his best friend to immediately go to work because he did not want to be late.

"Bye! See you later Valerie!" Adriana Shouted.

Valerie walked past some of the employees in the company, many looking at her with amazed gazes and there were also some female employees looking at her with dislike gazes.

"What a lovely new secretary to our CEO!"

"Had to be chosen as the new secretary, just look at her so beautiful and sexy!"

Valerie heard all the remarks from the employees, but she chose to keep walking and went to the CEO's office. There was a nervous feeling because this was the first time he had worked in his entire life, and he was even more nervous about working for a well-known and well-known company in London.

He hesitantly tried to knock on the door of the room, and after hearing the voice of the order to enter he slowly opened the door. And there was a man with a stout stature who turned his back on him.

"Excuse me sir!" Valerie said very softly and made the man turn his body to face Valerie.

Valerie was surprised by what she saw, the man she met yesterday and he was flush at the cafe was his own boss at the company he worked for. Instantly a feeling of guilt and fear instantly enveloped Valerie's current mood.

"The world feels so narrow, doesn't it?" Alex said as he walked closer to Valerie.

Valerie just stood still, not daring to look at Alex's face which until now looked at her with a sharp gaze. Valerie again cursed herself for her mistake at the cafe.

"Do you still not believe what you see? The man you flush with that disgusting drink yesterday is your boss?" Alex's question sounded emphatically and made Valerie even more frightened by Alex.

"You must accept the reply because you have dared to insult me by watering me in the cafe that beautiful lady!" Alex said while holding Valerie's chin.

Valerie lowered her head and did not understand Alex's treatment of her. The man slyly touched her without her permission. And up until now Valerie won't let anyone touch her body just like that.

"A...what are you doing?" Valerie asked nervously.

Instead of answering, Alex even got closer to Valerie's body and grabbed the woman's body into her arms. He hugged Valerie very tightly and lustfully of course.

"You don't have to put on a face like that, miss! You should be happy to be alone with a handsome and rich young CEO like me!" Alex said in a voice that sounded like she was teasing Valerie.

"Do you need money? Popularity or what do you need? You can tell me and I'll give you whatever you want. As long as you give me what I tell you!" Alex said as she stroked Valerie's hair.

"You're crazy!" Snapped Valerie by looking at Alex with disgust. Valerie hates this striped guy like Alex who always pays anything for his wishes.

Alex is silent and now they look at each other, Alex is made more curious and Valerie is increasingly disgusted with Alex. And the man can sense that Valerie doesn't like him.

Alex thinks Valerie is different from the women he has met before who are willing to do anything to get money from Alex. But Valerie is very different and it's not easy to just get her. And he began to think about finding other plans to get Valerie.

"I'm sorry I thought back to working here. I will immediately submit my resignation from this company!" Valerie said that she had begun to move her legs to leave Alex's room.

"You have to remember that you signed a contract and agreed to all the rules in this company. If you resign from this company, you'll have to pay all the fine that was written in the contract!" Alex threatens Valerie, and makes the woman stop her steps.

Valerie clucked lazily and went straight out leaving Alex still standing.

Jacob who entered Alex's study immediately smiled as he looked at Valerie who was walking out of the room.

"You didn't do anything, did you?" Jacob asked laughing teasingly at Alex.

"Not yet!" Alex said with a satisfied laugh as she recalled Valerie the woman who made her crazy like this.

"I just want you to be careful. That woman is different from the other women, and I'm worried that you're going to fall in love with that woman!" Jacob sounded more serious than ever.

"I just want to play him. You know I don't fall in love with a woman!" Alex was no less serious than Jacob.

Falling in love is indeed a word Alex avoids, he is determined to himself that he will not easily fall in love with women. And he dates many women just to satisfy his lust after that go and throw the woman like trash.
