Valerie felt that there was something strange about Alex, because it was not as usual for the man to behave as before. Valerie became concerned about what Jacob said that Alex was jealous because Jacob greeted her earlier. Would a person in love do the same thing Alex did? Think Valerie. But Valerie immediately threw away her thoughts.

And Valerie nodded as Jacob said goodbye to her to immediately chase after Alex who had already disappeared from her sight. Valerie chuckled as she remembered Alex's pouting face like that, it turned out that a shitty man like Alex could also feel annoyed, she thought.

Valerie stepped foot and took a glass of water for him to drink, to be honest this afternoon he did not have enough intention to go to lunch. Valerie preferred to eat a piece of bread that she had brought with her this morning as breakfast, and there was still leftovers that she ended up eating as lunch.

Valerie imagined what if Alex would come back to tease her after she kissed her? Again and again that is what always haunts his mind, because his carelessness is certain he will get even greater calamity. A calamity that in the sense of Alex always teases him like the days before.

"You're so stupid Valerie! But it wasn't entirely my fault, because Alex was always starting out and I wanted to make him stop teasing me!" Lirih Valerie on herself while keeping an empty glass.

Alex was sitting at the cafeteria table with a face that still looked very upset. Feeling very angry at Jacob because the man boldly approached Valerie, Alex always assumed that Valerie was only his and whenever the woman who worked as a secretary in his company was his. Alex is determined not to allow another man to get close to Valerie.

Alex realizes that this is his first time falling in love with a woman, and only Valerie is able to make Alex melt with her beauty and also her attitude that is a little hard and very much different from other women. Alex has always believed that she will make Valerie fall in love with him in the near future. That's what Alex is like, whatever he wants he has to get in any way. There is no giving up in the life of that handsome and very rich man.

Alex's face again looked very upset when Jacob came over and sat in front of him. He looked at Jacob very lazily and continued his activity by eating the lunch he had ordered earlier, regardless of Jacob's presence in front of him.

"You're! Why did you leave me and Valerie?" Ask Jacob who is focused on the movements of Alex who is still focused on his food.

Alex chooses not to answer, because Alex is very sure that Jacob will ask a lot about him who suddenly left Jacob and Valerie earlier. Alex also curses himself because he cannot hide his jealousy in Jacob approaching Valerie.

"Alex! Are you still chasing Valerie and hoping for that woman to be your lover? Really Alex? My best friend could fall in love!" Jacob said while laughing very loudly, so that all employees who were in the cafeteria were paying attention to Alex and Jacob.

Alex took a quick glance at Jacob who was still waiting for an answer from him, "You're making everyone pay attention to us now! If you know the answer, why are you still asking Jack!" Alex said that sounded very slow but filled with emphasis and made Jacob who heard it immediately nod his head quickly. And Alex went back to eating his lunch regardless of Jacob.

Alex, who could not stand all the ridicule from his best friend, hit the table hard enough, and again made everyone in the cafeteria pay attention to him. Alex just stared at all those people with a very angry look and managed to get everyone in the cafeteria back to their activities because they were afraid of Alex staring at them very closely.

And Jacob himself did not feel afraid when Alex hit the table like that, because for them such things had become commonplace that became their daily food. Alex and Jacob are like Tom and Jerry who always fight at all times, but it will not be long they will return familiar as if nothing happened.

"Why? Did I do you wrong?" Jacob asked who was taking Alex very seriously, and hoped that Alex would not really turn to him. Because Jacob had originally only intended to joke with Alex.

Alex got up from his seat, "Forget it! You're just wasting my time, and you've been interrupting my fucking lunch time!" Alex said back to sit because there are still many foods that he has not eaten and is very dear to him to leave.

"Listen to me Alex! This time I seriously asked you!" Jacob said with a very serious face but not the slightest bit of good looks off his face.

Alex simply raised both eyebrows as if asking what Jacob meant.

"What about Cassie asking you to marry her? And you yourself are in love with another woman?" Ask Jacob.

Alex sighed softly while keeping the spoon and fork he held, "I won't marry Cassie! And up until then I would never be willing to marry a cunning woman like Cassie who always took advantage of circumstances just for her own free will without thinking about anyone else!" Alex said very casually.

"And about Valerie, I'll get it soon. And I remind you not to come near or tease Valerie like that. Youunderstand?" Alex said with great emphasis and made Jacob just laugh.

"I'm not teasing her, well I won't interfere in your love affairs!" Jacob said very casually and again made Alex look upset again.

"You said you wouldn't interfere in my love affairs, but you've been asking Jack. You're such a fool!" Alex said and managed to make Jacob laugh very hard, without him realizing he also laughed like Jacob. That's how they both are.

Alex immediately thought of Jacob's words about Cassie, what if the woman would do something desperate and detrimental? Alex also thinks in what way he can make Valerie as his lover and make Cassie stop to ask him to marry the woman named Cassie.
