A week later ....

Alex is busy with the computer screen in front of him and also some files that are on his desk. Since he asked Valerie to stop working, he made Jacob his secretary and personal assistant. Because only Jacob is the one who Alex strongly believes in helping him manage his work more and more because Alex's company is now working with several big tenders in London.

Alex sighed and stopped working on some of the remaining files on his desk. Suddenly Alex remembered Valerie, he missed his wife who was pregnant with his first child and Valerie. There was a feeling of guilt because he could not accompany Valerie at home because she was busy working. But all that he did for the happiness of Valerie and also his future son later.

Suddenly Alex's office door opened wide, and Alex's gaze was now on a beautiful woman who was crying out loud. Alex is very lazy to be reunited with the woman named Cassie, the woman who always forced Alex to marry her. Alex makes up his mind not to be influenced by the evil woman, he is already very sure that Cassie is currently pretending to attract her attention again.

"Alex" Cassie said in a voice that sounded a little quivering as she was still crying. He ran over to Alex and hugged the man in a very pushy way and made Alex look very uncomfortable with what Cassie did.

Alex lets go of Cassie's embrace quite harshly, assuming Cassie is outrageous this time around. The woman had the courage to embrace him while she knew that Alex was married.

"Let go! Whatchu mean?" Alex asked in a high voice and sounded very upset at the woman who was now downcast and crying again like the first time he came.

"I beg Alex, marry me. You leave Valerie your useless ex-secretary. You should have chosen me to be your wife from the beginning, I have everything and we are both famous rich people in London. While Valerie? She's just a woman who doesn't know what her life is like" Cassie said, holding Alex's hand and hoping that the man would grant what she had said earlier.

Alex looks very angry, his face is now reddened by hearing Cassie insult his wife just like that. Alex would never allow anyone to insult or even just touch his wife. Alex always thought if someone bullied his wife, it meant that he would come face to face with Alex.

But this time Alex is still trying to hold back his emotions, he does not want to release and instead hurt Cassie which will later be fatal. Alex will see how far this woman has plagued her life and Valerie.

"I beg Alex, you're the only man I love so much. And I promise I'll never let you down and I'll never hurt you" Cassie said back in tears as Alex seemed completely unconcerned about being there.

"Get out of my room!"
