My boy, I Love You

My boy, I Love You
Chapter 49. An Offer

"Mommy, can we just give daddy a chance, Leon doesn't want our family to be torn apart again." The little boy standing in front of the door watched his parents with a pushy look.

Lia threw her panttat on the bed. Staring at the two men before him with agitated gazes.

^^^"Should I leave him, or should I give him one more chance?"^^^

As if understanding his mother's anxiety, Leon nodded his head. "Mommy. Please," persuade her with teary eyes. "Everything's gonna be okay."

Lia sighed after being silent for a while. "Leon, mommy wants to talk to daddy alone. Can you wait a minute outside?"

Leon lowered his head, his face looking sad. But the little boy remained obedient, he put his foot out of his parents' room.

Lia held both arms of her husband who was still bending her knees against the cold ceramic floor. He knelt before him. Sam ventured to look at the face of his heart lover. The pair of beautiful eyes now no longer showed the flames of anger.

"One chance only. Do you agree?" The woman's soft voice sounded melodious in Samuel's ears. "And I want it all resolved soon. I want this family like any other normal family."

"of course. I also want to enjoy a quiet life." Samuel stretched out his arms and hugged his wife tightly. His heart feels very relieved. Again his son saved him.

Suddenly Sam thought back to Black. What should he do to the man who has disturbed the peace of his family. A man is paid to do all the dirty deeds of others. A man who has absolutely no loyalty to his business relationship and easily reverses course.

"Darling, I've arrested the man who kidnapped you. But I don't know how to treat her." Sam suddenly told her heart.

Lia was surprised, "Another surprise?"

"Sorry, sweetheart. But this is not my wish. He - - - "

"Sam, do you want to deal with the law? I don't want my husband in jail. Don't touch her." Lia doesn't want to hear her husband's explanation anymore.

"Alright, looks like you've given me an idea of how to treat him." Sam smiled sweetly and softly kissed the bee tattoo on the nape of his wife.

🍀🍀🍀🍀

The man in black was still lying on the cement floor with his hands and feet tied to a rope knotted to death. Both of his hands started to blister and bleed due to his intense movement to get his hands out.

Suddenly the door of the narrow room opened. The man closed his eyes as the incoming sunlight made his eyes glare. A shadow of a human figure approached him. He squinted his eyes, trying to recognize the shadow of the person approaching him.

The man could not even ask or even ask for help because of a duct tape that covered his mouth.

"Black! You've let me down. I always thought of you as a friend I could count on. But once someone gives you an offer, puff."

The man pulled the duct tape that stuck to Black's mouth. Black grimaced in pain, his skin ached as the duct tape was removed in rapid motion as if it were skinned.

"I'll make you an offer." The man held out a piece of agreement paper near Black's face.

Black squinted his eyes to see more clearly a fairly long line of writing in front of him. "Explain to me about the deal."

Black laughed chuckling. "I'm used to living free. I can't be tied."

"So you want to live without a steady income and die slowly when your age is old because no one else will wear your services." The man laughed back at Black's refusal.

"alright. No need to wait long. I don't want you threatening my life. You'd better die and rot here, 'cause I don't think anyone's gonna look for you and even report your loss." The man laughed again, this time his hand pulling the duct tape was about to shut Black's mouth back.

"Wait -- You haven't told me what this deal is about?" ask Black. Apparently he did not want to waste it if it was a good offer.

The man brought his face closer to Black. "You will be my wife's guard! I don't want anyone touching or hurting him."

Black laughed loudly. Everything seems ironic to Black. After what he had done to Lia, now he was given the task of keeping her safe? Is Sam that stupid?

"Well, do you really trust me to look after your beautiful wife, Sam?" he asked while his laughter was still heard in the corner of the room.

"A chance I gave you. But you'll be very sorry if you fail to do so." Sam stared at Black's eyes very sharply. "You're gonna deal with me and one thing you should know. I love my wife so much. And I won't take responsibility if you fail to protect her."

"Ows... I'm so scared." Black taunted Sam with his words.

Sam pulled out his revolver, "I think you want to taste a bullet from my gun. Ah, what a pity. It should have been lodged in your heart yesterday."

Black laughed again, "If you shoot me, then I won't be able to sign the deal. And you won't have a guard for your beloved wife."

"It's not a problem for me, at least one person who's going to bother him is done." Samuel again gnashed him by pointing his revolver at Black's head.

Another shadow came into the room following Sam. Looking at his silhouette, Black could confirm that it was a woman! Lia, Samuel's wife.

"Stop Sam! I told you not to hurt anyone anymore." Lia pulled her husband's arm. Sam stood up and looked at his wife.

"I'm giving this bastard a chance to repent. Invite him to live a normal life with us." Sam explained to his wife.

Lia looked at the sheet of paper in Samuel's hand and grabbed it. For a moment his eyes seemed to be twitching reading every sentence engraved on the sealed paper.

Lia handed the sheet back to her husband. "A good suggestion. But you don't have to impose your good intentions. It seemed like he needed some time to think before deciding to stay away from the black world."

Lia turned around leaving Black and Sam. Sam chuckled, "All right. Think ahead." He covered Black's mouth with a thick duct tape. "Maybe hunger will make your brain think more sane."

Black wanted to agree to the agreement, but it was too late. Sam had closed the room and locked it. He was again confined to a quiet, dark place with no sign of life at all.

But before long, he saw a little boy enter through a small hole in the wall of the room.

The little boy smiled at him.
