Chapters 27. The Indigo

Radith walked down the corridor of the hospital where he was assigned. She was upset that her mutational request was rejected by the hospital chief.

He still remembered the irritated face of the hospital chief when he threw a tear of his mutated plea letter into the trash beside his desk.

Lia immediately stood up and ran after the young doctor, "Radith, wait for me."

Radith stopped his steps and turned his head when there was a thumping sound behind him.

"Aishis.... " Lia tried to stand from where she fell.

"Ish.." with an annoyed face, Radith came back and helped the woman and led her into the building.

"So tell me about the secrets of nature" the woman said after sitting on a chair in the hospital corridor.

"I know the times my father and mother died. Through a vision. But everything that happens, nature rules it. We can't change what's already been outlined."

"As our meeting?" ask Lia.

"Yes, that's right." The young doctor sighed, his feelings uncomfortable. He likes the woman next to him, but on the other hand he is afraid because he cannot even see his future!

Lia frowned. "Just right? So you already know that we're meeting?"

"Frankly, I avoided our meeting. I even filed for a mutation." The young doctor raised both hands. "My application was rejected."

"Why should you avoid our meeting?" Lia began to laugh at the silliness for the sake of the silliness she felt.

"Because in my vision, you are my soul mate. After this meeting, my future is no longer visible. It's all just darkness." The young doctor's eyes looked at him with great seriousness.

Lia returned her eyes. Slowly his neck felt cold. An emergency suddenly appeared. Secret nature. What exactly is going to happen.

A nurse ran to them.

"Well I'll be there. Thank you, sus." Radith immediately ran to Leon's room.

The man sighed, "Why do you always think badly of me, Lia?"

"What exactly is your purpose?" ask Lia.

"I give you that condition, because I don't want to lose you again. I loved you, long before Ray. 8 years ago, that night I could never forget. I can't even escape your shadow."

Lia shook her head. "No. You didn't even recognize me when we met."

"So you're going to reject me? Alright. But I'll never give up. I will always be there as your shadow, Lia. Remember that" threatened Samuel.

"You can't get rid of me, because after all, I'm Leonard's father."

Lia's getting riled up. Angrily he began to push and hit the chest of the man in front of him. "Geez! Go you. I don't want to see you."

Lia could not hold back her tears. He came back crying. Her knees felt weak until she fell back down beside her husband's belly button.

Samuel closed his umbrella. The man began to kneel down and began to carry the body of the woman who began to appear weak due to her sadness.

The man walked to his car. He was well aware that this woman could not be conquered by force and coercion. He must start fighting back from zero to earn his trust and love.

There's still hope because he has Leonard, their baby. He can get to Lia through Leonard!

The man smiled slantedly. Slowly but surely, I will have you back.

"You're making your husband unsettled, Lia," he said.

"What do you mean?" ask Lia.

The young doctor pursed his lips by sticking out his index finger. "Don't be noisy, Leon will wake up" he said.

"Your husband doesn't want to see you cry and grieve. He wants to see you happy before his journey" Radith said.

"alright. How can I be happy when he leaves me this way? Does he want it from me?"

"Run your life happily. Untie her. Classify Lia."

"If I could, it wouldn't be that easy, Radith. He's the only place I share, pour out my heart."

"Well, if you want, you can pour out your heart to me!"
