Chapters 20. Let's Marry!

"Come here, Erry, I'll lend you my shoulder" Joe said, extending his hand to the beautiful, talented actress.

"No Joe, I don't want to deal with a beautiful woman in the corner" Miss Erry replied to a joke from her partner Joe.

"of course. I almost forgot to take her. What if you lend me your shoulder, Sam?"

"I'll lend you, of course, if you bear the cost of the laundry" Samuel said. The fresh curls of these three judges always managed to make the atmosphere cheerful.

"Leon. You're growing. Your game is getting better over time. Whatever the outcome, I hope you will still be humble and kind." Sam made his comment, as if he had known the outcome.

"Leonard. From the beginning of our meeting, I had already assumed that you were a genius. I hope you'll be creating your own music, just like Beethoven, Mozart, with their kind of music" Joe said.

All comments are positive and feel good. Leonard bowed his body to the judges and all the spectators present in person. "Thank you" he said with his trademark cheerful smile.

Leonard passed from the stage while boisterous applause rang out from all corners of the room.

"And as our champion this year. Leonard Savero!" the Master Ceremony delivered the results of the competition so loudly and fiery.

Lia was happy, she hugged Ray to vent her happiness. But that made Sam's heart hurt. Right now, he wanted to drag Lia down, even killing Ray. But what power, this show is covered directly by some private television. He had to completely resist his will to kill Ray!

Lia waited for her little boy backstage impatiently. He wanted to express his happiness by hugging his son.

Suddenly someone pulled her arm, but when Lia turned to look at her, her lips landed on the man's lips. Sam passionately kissed Lia. Both of his hands were coiled around his small waist.

A pat on his back, made Sam let go of his kiss. And a fist landed on his jaw.

"Don't bother him. She is my future wife" Ray said in an angry tone. "Take him off before you regret."

"Wow wow... Is this an assault?" ask Ray.

Some people started to pick up their phones and began to capture the moment in a video. Sam laughed, "I'll charge you with assault or violence. Wait for news from me."

Ray and Lia just looked at each other without being able to say anything. What had just happened was truly shocking to them.

While Sam resentfully starts to set up a stratagem. He picked up the device in his pocket and started talking after pressing a number.

"Bill our stuff, even it's not comparable to the company he's selling us. I declare the war to begin."

"Leonard" called Samuel as they were about to leave the building. "You have a chance to record an album at my Production House. Please visit immediately. Isn't it the sooner you make an album, the sooner you produce."

Leon smiled, not a matter of money or anything. He is happy to have the chance to meet his father again. This time as a musician and producer.

Lia nodded her head with an awkward feeling of guilt. Actually, he wanted to rebel. But Sam was too strong to hold it and he also drifted away from his feelings.

He really felt like a traitor in front of Ray. So on the way home, they just kept quiet until Ray finally relented and opened a conversation.

"Since Leon's past quarantine, what if tomorrow we have our wedding."

Lia suddenly cheated. "All right," he said briefly.

"I don't want my bride to be stolen. It wasn't easy for me to get you," he said later.

A simple wedding party. Not much to invite. Just some of the teachers Ray taught. Ray's parents are gone.

Lia with her simple white dress spread a thin smile, her heart was sad. This is not the marriage that he has been dreaming of. But she continued to make her husband happy.

A wedding song played by Leonard. But for some reason, the little boy playing cheerful music became something sad.

Lia did not expect that her little boy would understand Lia's feelings for sure. "Leon, give cheerful music to mami." Lia persuaded her son, "You're no longer in the grand finale to play a sad song, dear."

"But Leon knows that mom is sad" he said.

"Why are you sad baby, isn't this your wedding?" Lia hid her surprise with her smile.

"Mommy doesn't have to hide anything from Leon." Leon left his mother in a state of flabbergasted.

"Ray, are we the only ones invited here?" ask a teacher friend.

"My wife has no relatives in Indonesia." Ray gave the answer.

"Are you sure? He is Indonesian, but has no family here? I think you need to investigate Ray's genealogy" said one female teacher.

Ray laughed while scratching his hair. "Yes, but I think she's a good woman."

"Which fine woman has a child without a marriage license." A ketus sentence that suddenly came out from a senior teacher.

"Whatever it is, whoever she is, I have chosen her to be my wife. And whoever bullies my family, will come face to face with me directly." Ray said firmly.

She really loves Lia. He did not want his family to be harassed by anyone.
