Chapter 102: Evan's Fear

When the memory starts to return, then the fear comes to attack. The feeling that had been buried deeply seemed to appear so easily. The fear that Evan had buried all this time came with the return of his memory. He did not want to lose Kanaya anymore, but he was also angry over what Kanaya had done to him first.

"Why are you angry with Kanaya dear?" ask Indi who accidentally heard Evan and Kanaya's conversation.

"Evan is afraid of losing Kanaya Mah, but Evan is also angry with her." Evan was honest.

"You don't know why he disappeared and there must be a reason, Van."

"Yes Mah, Evan knows. Evan also regretted talking too hard with Kanaya."

Kanaya entered the house with tears streaming down her cheeks. Dion who saw the state of Kanaya immediately asked what had happened to her. Kanaya just hugged Dion and sobbed in her arms.

"It looks like Evan really hates Naya, Pah. He already remembered everything about Naya, and he was angry with Naya because Naya had disappeared without news."

"He doesn't know why you disappeared, baby, so Evan isn't wrong to be angry with you."

"Naya just doesn't want to go again next to Evan, Pah. But Evan is angry and rejects Naya." Naya's crying hasn't stopped.

"Already, already, let you guys talk about it again. With a cold head." Dion tries to calm Kanaya down. Kanaya's cries slowly stopped and Dion asked her to go into her room.

"Well, how come Kanaya isn't here anymore?" evan asked the next day Kanaya was not seen in the hospital.

"Who is angry with Kanaya yesterday?" ledek Indi's.

"Evan called and apologized Mah. But why hasn't he come?"

"Patience dear, maybe Kanaya also needs time. You're doing that too much."

"Evan regrets Mama." Evan said with great emphasis. Indi who heard that could only smile amusedly.

"Wait a minute, it'll come." Just as Indi stopped speaking, there was a knock from the door and Kanaya appeared with a doubtful smile.

"Which was finally coming, too," said Indi meredek Evan.

"For Auntie" said Kanaya.

"For Naya, you don't go to school?" asked Indi who was curious because it was still early in the morning Kanaya was already in the hospital.

"Engga Aunt, Naya permission," Kanaya replied smilingly.

"Yes, if so, Auntie lives first. Please have a good chat."

Indi coded Evan so he could speak more softly to Kanaya. Don't fight anymore and Kanaya will be gone forever.

After Indi came out of the room, Kanaya approached Evan's bed and sat down on the chair on the edge of the bed. For a moment, there was only silence in the room. No one starts the conversation.

"I'm sorry Nay" Evan said suddenly.

"You're not wrong, I'm selfish and too afraid to lose you again."

"I'm not leaving anymore, brother, because everything is fine."

Kanaya has learned that Calista has been taken care of by Arya. Calista would never set foot in this city and country again. Kanaya is grateful for all that, although there is a bit of sadness because Calista is the one who helped her when she was down.

"Didn't you go to school because you wanted me?" ask Evan meredek.

"Sir, I just need a rest" Kanaya replied with flushed cheeks.

"Are you sick? Your cheeks are red." Evan knew Kanaya was lying, and it made her feel good. "Thank you Naya, once again I'm sorry."

"Sir, everything has passed. Now focus on recovering Evan."

Evan did not respond to anything, he advanced his body forward towards Kanaya. Evan's lips were already very close to Kanaya's lips when deheman's voice rang out in front of the door.

"Mama, is Mama back?" evan asked nervously and misbehaved. Kanaya immediately stood up and slightly moved away from Evan's bed.

"Mama hasn't left yet, Mama's wallet is missing." Indi picked up his bag and whispered in Evan's ear, which made Evan smile.

"Please memenin Evan first yes Naya," said Indi then glanced at Evan.

"I, yes Auntie," Kanaya replied nervously.

As far as Indi was concerned, Evan patted the edge of his bed and told Kanaya to sit there. With a slight hesitation, Kanaya approached and sat down beside Evan. Evan hugged Kanaya tightly and closed his eyes for a moment.

"Sorry I'm Naya and thank you for coming back for me" Evan said, prompting Kanaya to return his arms.

The fear that Evan felt and was quiet all along, finally lifted and disappeared. He promised himself he would always look after Kanaya.
