Chapter 100: Pain

Evan tried hard to try to remember again. Kanaya takes Evan under a tree he often sits on while at rest. Evan remembers everything, but does not remember about Kanaya. What happens until he forgets that memory?

"I remember, I was always sitting in this place" Evan smiled.

"Here was also the first time we met Brother. I was told by Ms. Janet to call my sister. Since I don't know brother's name, I'm calling 'woi' aja." Kanaya smiled broadly considering the first time she met Evan.

For a moment Evan just fell silent and started to hold his head. Kanaya saw Evan in pain and immediately gave him a hug.

"Slow down, Kak, don't force it" Kanaya said, worried about Evan.

"Hi Van, you're in school again?" ask Mary who suddenly came.

"Yes Mar, I have to go to school again. It's gonna be a test soon." Evan smiled knot.

Kanaya looks at Evan's smile and feels he has completely lost the old Evan. Evan is cold to other women except those who are close to him.

"Can I take Evan to class?" ask Maria to Kanaya.

"Yes, brother, may. Brother Evan, later again yes. I'm going to class first too." Kanaya immediately walked over without waiting for Evan's answer. A sense of tightness suddenly just came when he remembered Evan's smile for Maria.

Upon returning home from school, Evan tries to come back to the back garden of the school to take a look. A shadow appeared in Evan's mind. When Kanaya was crying and she calmed her down.

"What is the real thought that I should remember again" muttered Evan.

He pushed his wheelchair towards the parking lot, and a family driver picked him up. Kanaya was not seen from earlier after leaving her with Maria.

"Where is the school today?" ask the driver.

"Currently Sir," replied Evan smiling happily.

Evan was happy to show his mother that he was in good school despite being in a wheelchair.

Arini and Vania are waiting for Evan at home. They are both anxious and afraid that Evan is in trouble.

"Sister Evan why not, Auntie?" ask Vania.

"Patience, wait again for sure. I've been picked up by the driver."

Evan finally reached home and was immediately greeted by Vania.

"Sister Evan all right?" ask Vania worriedly.

"So good on the Deck. Look at it yourself." Evan stretched his hand to show that he was fine.

"Where was that at school?" ask Arini too.

"Current Auntie, it's normal." Evan goes into his room assisted by Arini.

"Is there any development in your memory?" ask Arini carefully.

"Not Aunt. Is that a painful memory?" Evan asked while looking at Arini.

"Hhmm Aunty doesn't know it's a painful memory. Because only you can feel it. But as far as aunty knows, you changed when you lost Kanaya that time."

"Tell me everything the same Evan, Auntie."

Arini thought for a moment. He does not want Evan to force himself to remember everything about Kanaya.But due to the insistence of Evan, Arini finally told everything in detail. How sad he was when Kanaya disappeared. The hope he had always instilled in himself seemed to lie to him because Kanaya had never been found. At one time Evan turned into a cold and indifferent person, but soon he returned with a friendlier nature to other women. Evan's family learns that it's Evan's way of hiding his true feelings.

"Very lost, we all know that. But you covered it up well."

Evan started to hold his head. Many memories entered one by one into Evan's brain and made him feel dizzy. Arini who saw Evan's behavior, immediately called the driver to take him to the hospital.

"Aarrggghhhh!" evan shouted to get rid of the intense pain in his head.

"Van, wake up baby. Sorry Aunt, Evan." Arini tries to calm Evan down.

"Vania, quickly get the driver to come here!" shout Arini.

Not long after, the driver came with Vania. Evan is taken to the hospital and Arini quickly contacts Indi and Arya. Evan continued to scream while holding his head.

"Evan darling, Van conscious. Aunty Arin apologizes for wrongly speaking." Arini cried seeing Evan's situation like that.

"Tante don't cry dong, Vania so sad follow." Vania goes to the hospital to accompany Arini.

Arriving at the hospital, Evan was immediately taken into his room and examined by a Doctor.

"Where's Evan?" ask Indi when he arrived at the hospital with a worried face.

"Sorry Arin, Brother. Arin didn't mean to make Evan rich." Arini cried again and more and more loudly. Dimas tried to calm her down.

"Udah no pa-pa, Evan must be fine. We'll talk later." Arya says things that can make Arini calm.

Indi let out his tears while waiting for Evan who was being examined by a doctor.

"You're strong, son, you're a strong boy." The prayer of Indi in his heart.
