"Wulan" called Jason with a warm smile and drew closer.
Wulan blinked her two clear eyes, her nervousness so intense.
Jason, the man is in front of him. With the same smile, that smile always made him entangled and difficult to get out.
The girl's hands were clinging to each other behind her back restlessly.
It was as if his fingers were freezing cold.
If everyone saw, even his legs were shaking instead of playing.
This situation was completely unimaginable before, Jason had even searched for it so far as to his home in the village.
"Sir, why did you get here?" He asked as he swallowed his saliva with great difficulty.
"Why did you suddenly go wulan, I was worried?" Jason answered with a deep look.
"Sir, who is this?" Lady Siti whispered in the child's ear.
"Oh, you know this Mr. Jason, Wulan's employer" the girl said in the end.
"Sir, this is my mother" she told Jason.
The old woman was a little surprised but quickly neutralized her shock and then smiled warmly while extending her hand with a slight bow.
Jason greeted the helping hand with delight, there was a sense of unease when the mother of the girl he loved was bowing to him.
"I'm Jason Bu" he said, introducing himself.
"I'm Siti tuan, Wulan's mother" replied Bu Siti still continued to hunchback.
"Monggo, please sir" the middle-aged woman said as she stuck out the tip of her thumb allowing Jason and Herman to enter the house.
The two men simply nodded then followed the footsteps of the owner of the house.
Wahyuni who had just peeked out from behind the window swiftly grabbed the kemoceng and patted the simple wooden chair in the narrow living room to just remove the dust that was still attached.
"Please sit, sir, sorry the place is just like this" said Ms. Siti as she landed her ass in the seat directly opposite Jason and Herman chose to sit down.
"It's okay, ma'am" Jason replied.
"Sir, make tea for these gentlemen" said Bu Siti giving instructions by hand to her youngest daughter.
"Nggeh Bu" Wahyuni nodded then rushed inside quickly.
Wulan was still clumsy with the situation then chose to sit next to her mother.
The girl glanced at her mother many times, her mind confused.
Ahh, soon maybe everything will be revealed in front of the mother.
Imagining his mother's reaction made Wulan's stomach suddenly hurt for no reason.
"So what do you need these gentlemen to find my son? Did he make a mistake, sir? It's only right that he resigns" asked Bu Siti while glancing at the increasingly agitated Wulan.
"That's not it, ma'am, Wulan didn't do anything wrong. I came here because there was something I needed to tell my mother's daughter" Jason replied, the man finally understood one thing, the middle-aged woman knew nothing about Wulan's return. Wulan did not tell about her escape without saying goodbye.
"Please drink master" Yuni suddenly came up with a tray containing four cups of tea, which was then answered with a nod of the two men.
The atmosphere returned silent for a moment as they sipped each other's tea.
But Wulan's mind was not as calm as it seemed, the girl repeatedly shifted her sitting position, nervousness and discomfort dominating her. It was as if the chair he was sitting on was stuck with a lot of thorns.
"Look ma'am, I'd like to have a one-on-one conversation with Wulan if you'd like to" Jason said politely.
Bu Siti glanced at her eldest child and vice versa.
The look of the mother and child was clashing, the mother found out looking through the look of her son's face that was increasingly pale.
Something is wrong!! Yeah, he knows it.
Wulan followed her mother's body which gradually went inside with the tail of her eyes.
Now he won't be able to run away from Jason, what the hell he wants to say.
Wulan was scared but also impatiently wanted to hear what Jason was about to say.
The girl cursed her unstable heart. Always like this!
Without having to be told the man dressed in all black beside Jason finally stood up then walked out towards the terrace.
The man is seen playing the phone in his hand as if he does not care and does not want to know the affairs of his boss.
Jason reached into something from the pocket of his shirt, then grasped a piece of white paper that had been scuffed by the rest of the rubble.
"Wulan, you've misunderstood! everything you thought was wrong, not what you thought" Jason said without further ado.
Jason seemed to be swinging the paper in his hand while explaining. Now that Wulan realized something, it was a letter that Wulan had left at that time.
Jason read it, of course. Wulan was still speechless listening to the words that felt unreasonable being spoken from the man's lips.
"Andini is not my wife! And Rayyan's not my son!" Jason said again, from the look of his eyes seemed to try so convincingly.
What kind of joke is that? Even now he blatantly disowned his wife and son before Wulan.
Yeah, maybe there's something going on between him and you that makes the guy not want to admit to his wife, that might still be acceptable.
But not admitting his son?? that's been really outrageous.
Wulan was suddenly completely caught off guard, she cursed every word that came out of Jason's mouth.
Even in the mansion every day, at any time his ears were still very clear hearing Rayyan refer to the man as his father.
And Jason repeatedly introduced Rayyan as his son. Even Andini blatantly claims Jason is her husband.
Then what the fuck now.
The fear, nervousness and worry that had suddenly changed by something clumping in his chest, there was a rumble between anger, hatred and resentment towards the man before him.
"Why is that Mr Setega? To the point of not admitting your own son and wife?" Wulan said cynically.
"Because they are not my children and my wife, I have never even been married at all" Jason replied in a slightly raised voice.
"The master's hints are overdoing it now!" Said the girl while turning her face away.
Jason, who was sitting opposite her, now moved closer to the girl's side seat.
Then it grabbed Wulan's fingers, but quickly the girl brushed it off.
"Wulan, just listen to me this once, I'll tell you everything. So please just give me one chance to straighten things out" Jason said solemnly.
Even Jason has never been as convincing and serious as he is today.
Wulan only glanced at the man's eyes and though only a glance Wulan could see the earnestness from the look in his eyes. The girl was silent for a long time, there was a rough sigh with slightly reddened eyes, so in the end the girl nodded slowly, making Jason smile in relief.
