My Beloved Baby Sitter's

My Beloved Baby Sitter's
part. 11

Jason sat in front of the doctor with an anxious, whitened face. The man looked at every sentence that came out from SpOG doctors who were explaining some things related to Wulan's condition.

"Your wife's condition was a little bad when she came here. For now we can not be sure what the cause, but like the signs of food poisoning because when viewed from his condition he was very weak and trembling, his heartbeat was also fast and irregular. It is quite dangerous to the condition of the fetus it contains. Blood and urine tests did not show anything suspicious, but we're still going to observe."

Jason held his breath, word for word that he was hearing was like a blow to his head. The man was confused and worried, very worried.

The doctor explained that Wulan and the child in her womb were still lucky to survive. The woman was lying weakly in the cold bed of the hospital.

Why the ordeal came so hard to hit his little family. He always wanted to protect his wife and children. I don't know, there was something stuck in the corner of his heart, Jason didn't know what, but that worry made him suspect a lot of things.

"Are you sure that poison won't leave a trace?" Whisper Sarah while sticking a cell phone in her ear.

Someone answered from across there. The look of tense and worried face of the middle-aged woman's face, but soon changed after hearing the words of the person who was her interlocutor.

"But why didn't the woman die?" Whispers with emphasis.

"If until this plan fails, and the baby in the woman's belly is still safe, you must be prepared with a backup plan." Sarah closed the call in annoyance without waiting for an answer from across the street.

"What's Auntie?" Suddenly a baritone voice grabbed Sarah's sense of hearing from behind her.

Sarah turned and stared at the tall figure with that hardened face in the kitchen doorway. Jason folded his arms and leaned his body against the side of the door.

"J-jas? Y-you're home?" Sarah stammered, her face paled as white as cotton.

"Why nervous Auntie? I just asked what Auntie was doing? And where's Rayyan?" The man's face had not changed, it was cold and it felt extremely deadly.

"Ray's in the room, I-this aunt wants to prepare a meal for him. Have you come home? That's your wife d-in ru-hospital."

"I know," Jason replied as he moved closer, Sarah's face completely paled like a corpse. His heart was not calm, hoping that the man would not steal what he had said to someone in his phone call.

Jason grabbed a glass and took some water. The man gulped it down until the toilet was not there. He went home to get some change of clothes for him and his wife. And want to see Rayyan for a while, make sure everything's okay.

A moment Jason stepped away, leaving Sarah with a heart that felt almost dislodged. His eyes followed Jason's steps away, then all that remained was a long sigh of relief.

"Damn it, almost. It was fortunate that he didn't hear anything" he muttered as he stroked his chest that was pounding in fear.

After taking a shower and preparing some change of clothes and her needs and the wife in the hospital, Jason stepped into Rayyan's room. He wanted to see his nephew before leaving. Jason felt lately his relationship with Rayyan was a little tenuous, even the last time the boy was disappointed and a little angry about it.

"Ray," called out to him as he opened the door.

Little Rayyan was playing a game on her tablet seriously. The boy looked at it for a while and then looked back at the flat object in his hand. He doesn't seem interested. Very different from the old days, the boy would run into Jason's arms after seeing him coming, especially if Jason came home from out of town.

"Ray, what are you?" Jason approached, sat down by the boy's side and stroked the hair on his favorite boy's head.

"Main games," Rayyan replied, again without looking at him.

Jason scolded. "Ray didn't miss Dad?"

"Kalo kangen stop playing the game, talk to dad." But Rayyan didn't budge.

"Ray?!" Jason said in a slightly raised voice. The boy was still indifferent, playing his game busily.

Jason took the tablet in Rayyan's hand and turned it off. Then throw it on a soft bed.

Rayyan was surprised and looked at Jason with annoyance. His round eyes were clear-glazed. "Why is that dad? Why are you bad?"

"From yesterday I asked you to talk, but you kept playing games. Ray can't stop first, I want to say something. If you're spoken to but you don't want to notice, that's not polite." Jason furrowed both of his eyebrows and looked at Rayyan with a hardened face.

"Bad, I don't love Ray." The teary dew bias in the boy's round eyes slid down his cheeks.

"Why do you think dad is bad? I love you, I want you to be a good son." Jason held both shoulders of the boy with his big hands.

"If you love Ray, why do you always get angry?" The boy sniffled.

"Dad doesn't want to be angry with you, but your attitude changes, unlike Rayyan who you usually know. Ray doesn't want to hear what you're saying, why is Ray now like this?"

"Because I don't love Ray, do you?" Shouted the boy while standing up.

Jason's forehead wrinkled. "Why does Ray think that? I love Ray, from the beginning to the next. It will never change."

"Dad lied, I don't love Ray. I just love the baby's sister in the belly of the mother, I don't love the same Ray, right? That's why you keep getting angry?" The boy cried with anger.

Jason sighed, closing his eyes to dampen his sense of regret against the now-changing little boy.

Without saying anything else, Jason grabbed the little man's body. Rayyan thrashed, but her power could not dispel Jason's embrace of her.

Jason hugged the small body that was crying and was spilling anger and sadness in his mind. Little Rayyan continued to rebel, until finally she was exhausted and resigned despite still crying.

"Why does Ray think you don't love Ray anymore? It's true that you love your baby sister in your belly, but your affection for Ray never changes. Where do you have such thoughts?" Jason said softly, trying to put a damper on everything.

Rayyan who was still sobbing rubbed her watery eyes. With a sigh, he tried to open his mouth.

"Because I left the same mother did not invite Ray at that time. Just the same baby sister in your stomach, right?"

Jason rubbed Rayyan's cheeks filled with tears. "At that time the father and mother did not go for a walk, but the mother and baby sister in the stomach had to be hospitalized. And now that you have to go back to the hospital, I can't take you with me, right? If you love your mother, love your father and baby sister, you must understand. We never left you, always loved Ray. Forever."

The tiny lips trembled, his still soft and white heart felt touched by the father's explanation.

"Is that why you're mad at me? That's why you turned into not wanting to beat up dad?" Jason kept wiping the cheek.

"But the word Oma...." Little Rayyan opened her mouth. Jason's face suddenly hardened, his jaw tightly clenched.
