"It seems I should ask Hanna directly,"
Hamilton tried to contact Hanna to make an appointment.
Hanna who had expected this to happen sooner or later had already bagged a mature preparation.
Hanna accepted Hamilton's invitation without hesitation.
"Well, there's nothing to be afraid of."
Hanna kept trying to encourage herself.
"You why? How was that dumbass?"
"Are you not going home?" ask Nicholas.
Hanna immediately gasped to get such a question from Nicholas. He did not think that Nicholas had not come home and instead found himself daydreaming.
"Ng, it's okay Mr. I'll be home soon" replied Hanna.
Nicholas who saw Hanna's vision was a little suspicious just nodded. He left immediately after hearing Hanna's reply.
Hanna was sometimes confused by Nicholas' fickle attitude. Sometimes he cares a lot, but sometimes he is also very indifferent to himself.
Hanna was unknowingly angry and disappointed with Nicholas' attitude.
"Why is this him?" Hanna asked herself with a riled up feeling.
Nicholas' broad back simply disappeared from Hanna's sight. A speck of her tears involuntarily dripped down her lips.
Hanna wondered to herself, "What's wrong with me?"
Before long, Hanna's phone rang. The call from Hamilton left him gasping.
"I'll be there soon" concluded Hanna.
Hanna rushed towards the Hamilton family mansion.
Hanna's arrival at the mansion, Hamilton keeps it a secret from Zicho and Ethan. Because if they know it's gonna get longer. Hamilton had also told the housekeeper to pick up Hanna at the gate.
"What is he planning?" Hanna muttered a little uneasily.
When Hanna arrived at the gate, she was immediately greeted by the housekeeper who would also take Hanna to meet Hamilton.
"Please Miss Hanna" said the housekeeper, letting Hanna in.
Hanna slightly timidly stepped in.
"A-anu, what exactly is it that Mr Hamilton invited me here?" Ask Hanna directly.
"Sit down" Hamilton ordered.
Hamilton gave the housekeeper a code to prepare tea and some treats.
Hanna just stared at the cup that was slowly filled to the brim with the warm tea that the housekeeper poured.
"So, what's your real purpose?" Hanna asked, speaking up.
"According to my research, you are my long-lost biological daughter. But, I still need to confirm it directly."
Hanna fell silent.
"Here, I found this photo."
Hamilton took a photo.
"This photo" muttered Hanna immediately taking a photo of hers.
"Where did you get this photo?" Hanna asked with a trembling voice.
Hamilton raised his eyebrows. Hanna's shoulders were shaking violently.
"I asked you where you got this photo!" Hanna stared intently at Hamilton with her eyes reddened.
Hamilton is shocked by Hanna's unexpected clash. He didn't expect Hanna's response to be that scary.
But Hamilton is undaunted, for the sake of finding the fact of Hanna's identity he will do anything.
"It wasn't me, it was the baby that came along with me."
Hamilton was shocked to death, "L-then, where's the baby?"
...****************...
Hanna walks gontai down the deserted corridor of the apartment. His sight slowly faded.
"Hanna.... ! Hanna.... !"
He heard someone shouting to him before his eyes completely darkened.
Hanna was drowning in a very dark darkness. All her childhood memories revolve back to the end of a beautiful woman who was sitting on her back to Hanna while humming.
"Have you come home, my daughter?" Asked the woman turned around with a friendly smile to Hanna.
"Let's eat, I'm done cooking your favorite food. Your father and brother came home late again today."
"Y-mother?" Call Hanna still confused.
"Mother.... !" Hanna ran to hug her mother. Mother he had never met.
Hanna was crying so much in her mother's arms that she was confused.
Inner Hanna kept shouting saying everything was just a dream. But, Hanna's body was reluctant to believe it. Her mother's warm feeling was too real to be considered a dream.
"What's wrong, cry baby." Said the woman in a very soft tone.
Her shady eyes and warm hands make Hanna more lulled into the long dream she had long dreamed of.
Shortly as Hanna was enjoying her mother's warm embrace, gunshots rang out. Everything went back to dark.
Hanna felt her hands wet with a liquid that was so thick. He looked over and found his mother bleeding. Hanna is approaching. Grasping her mother's hand while crying.
"Dear, strengthen yourself. I know you're mad at your father who just found you. But please, forgive him. He's your father, your father and brother suffered enough after you went missing and shortly after, he died. Don't lie to yourself, baby, your time is running out. Go.... !"
Hanna continued to cry and shook her head reluctantly to let go of her mother. But, the footsteps and the sound of a gun ready to shoot bullets getting closer forced Hanna to run for a way out.
"Sweet mau! Don't be afraid, we'll kill you without pain."
A terrifying-sounding man's voice spurred Hanna to continue running in the darkness looking for a crack of light.
"Hanna."
"Hanna."
"Hanna."
Hanna screamed in confusion. So many voices calling his name.
Hanna woke up screaming. He was crying and covering his face.
Nicholas who heard Hanna yell came straight. He hugged Hanna who was still sobbing. The sound of Hanna's crying filled the room. Nicholas was only able to calm Hanna down.
"Oh, it's okay. There I am" said Nicholas, stroking Hanna's head.
For Hanna, the night was long. Before long Hanna cried in Nicholas' arms, she fell asleep again. He looked more comfortable and calm than before.
Nicholas returns to the living room, where he will stay as long as Hanna sleeps. Nicholas doesn't know what happened in the Hamilton mansion. But for sure, it wasn't a good thing until it made Hanna like that after returning from there.
"What the old man did was actually," said Nicholas squeezing a can of drink in his hand.
Nicholas who still doesn't know anything about Hanna keeps trying to protect her. Either because of his affection for Hanna or because Hanna is a friend of his sister.
"It seems I have to move in search of information myself" Nicholas murmured.
Nicholas who was deep in thought was startled by his ringing phone.
"Sam? What's he calling?"
"Hello, ada.... "
"Nicholas! Your sister's rampaging. You've been there a long time" Sam yelled, giving Nicholas the reflex to drop his phone.
"Where's Zahra? Let me do the talking" said Nicholas casually.
"You call yourself! This is my favorite phone. I don't want this phone slammed by Zahra" said Sam.
"Give it, I'll change it."
"Hey, my phone is expensive to know. Even more expensive than your pride!"
Nicholas sighed at Sam's reply. He wanted to get angry, but could only give up.
