"Dad called Karin why?" Karin asked as she walked into Hamilton's study.
Hamilton only glanced at Karin's arrival and looked so reluctant.
"From tomorrow, you don't have to be involved in the Hamilton company anymore. You just focus on taking care of the branch in America."
Karin rounded her eyes perfectly, "A-dad ngusir Karin?"
In disbelief Karin approached Hamilton, who was still busy with the files in front of him. Hamilton did not respond to Karin's one-word question.
Hamilton cleared his throat to get his assistant in and started reading out his schedule for the next week. By force, Karin went to complain to Zicho. He wanted Zicho to persuade his father not to send him to America.
Karin is so arrogant that she still does not know about her true identity which is only a substitute daughter in the Hamilton family. He who always considers himself the most powerful sometimes makes the officers careless. Hamilton and Zicho always treat the employees well.
"Sister, I heard something unreasonable from you. Can't you help persuade me?" Karin asked with a spoiled tangle on Zicho's arm.
Zicho just kept quiet and did not touch Karin and tried to release Karin's embrace on her arm.
Karin saw that Zicho was busy letting go of his embrace by being forced.
"Son't have to help you persuade dad!" Shouted Karin as Zicho passed away.
Zicho stopped his steps and turned around to approach Karin.
"Why? Didn't you want to live in America? I've been hard-earned to build a branch there for you, but now you are?" Cold Zicho.
"I-I might leave you here alone sis," said Karin slightly frightened by Zicho's sharp gaze.
Karin took a step back feeling threatened and intimidated by Zicho. Zicho smiled at Karin, intimidated by himself.
Zicho passed away because he had to come to a meeting this morning. He left Karin who was still sculpting without a word.
While Karin was very forced to start packing the goods he wanted to bring to America. Karin stared at a ticket and also her passport which was already on the bedside nightstand.
He took the passport and the ticket, "Arghhh! So annoying!".
Karin threw the passport and ticket into the mattress and she turned around to take the suitcase out of the closet. He began to clean up the clothes he wanted to bring.
There were already two large suitcases that Karin had prepared. Even though he cleaned it up himself, he still continued to grumble not wanting to leave.
After everything was done, Karin's departure to America this time was ushered directly by Hamilton and Zicho. It was the least they could do for Karin to leave quietly.
"You got a meeting this afternoon?" Hamilton patted his son on the shoulder.
Zicho shook his head, "No, well, why?".
"Let's have lunch together, it's been a long time since I've eaten with my son" Hamilton embraced his son.
"Well, eat at Zicho's restaurant? Zicho told the staff to prepare the VIP room first," said Zicho took a cell phone from his pants pocket.
The father and son actually got along very well, but while discussing work matters both became serious and cold.
The two of them got into Zicho's car. Hamilton asked the bodyguards to go home first and not follow them.
Although Hamilton has many enemies who want to bring him down, he never once feared himself surrounded by enemies. Because his hard education since he was a child made him a strong and brave man. And so did Zicho.
"Come on, come on in" Zicho asked.
When he entered, Zicho was surprised to see Hanna sitting alone waiting for her food to be served. Zicho happily introduced Hanna to Hamilton.
Hamilton glanced at his son and found the look on his son's face changed drastically when he met the girl in front of him. Hamilton invited Hanna to lunch together.
Will Hanna refuse? Oh, of course not! Hanna who really likes to eat already psti will accept the offer without further ado.
"Come, come with us" Zicho asked.
Zicho pulled out a chair for Hanna to sit on. Then, he went to look for staff to prepare another set of dishes for Hanna.
"Whose name were you?"
"Ah, my name is Hanna Maureen om," said Hanna smiling kindly.
"Mmm, your parents?"
"I'm an orphan who was taken care of in an orphanage, om" said Hanna calmly and kept smiling kindly.
Hamilton nodded but was still curious. Because from some sides, Hanna's face is somewhat similar to his late wife.
Hanna was a little nervous as Hamilton continued to stare at her with a probing gaze.
"What are you talking about?" Asked Zicho who suddenly came.
Hamilton glanced at Hanna, "Hair is nice, it looks like your mother's hair.".
Zicho immediately laughed trying to melt the atmosphere. Hanna laughed even though she didn't know what she was laughing at.
The three of them began to get familiar with the chat that flowed as it was. The food at the Zicho restaurant is indeed the best in the city. No wonder, if many customers are willing to queue for long just to eat there.
"Son, what are you going home for?" Ask Hamilton.
"Ah, I took a taxi om" said Hanna.
"Zicho, you don't mind if we take Hanna home first?" Hamilton looked at his son.
Zicho eagerly agreed to his father's proposal.
Hanna tried to reject Hamilton's offer, but of course he lost the debate with Hamilton who is good at negotiating.
"Alright, alright. Om who won," said Hanna resigned.
They drove to Hanna's house. Zicho was actually very nervous, as this was the first time he had driven a girl home. Moreover, Hanna was sitting next to him with her father watching behind.
"It's just coming here, right?" Zicho asked to confirm the road.
Zicho did not really understand the road in the area of Hanna's house because when Zicho first came to the area, he did not pay much attention to the road and was escorted by a driver.
'I should thank you father later,' Inner Zicho while glancing at his father who was secretly staring at Hanna.
Actually terbesit curiosity in Zicho's mind because since the first time he met Hanna, his father continued to look at Hanna with detail.
"Just stop here" said Hanna.
"Your house is still ahead" said Zicho reluctant to take down Hanna in front of the minimarket.
"What's wrong, I need to buy something."
Zicho was only able to give in when he saw Hanna continue to refuse him to take him to the front of the house.
"Thank you for taking Hanna home" said Hanna smiling kindly.
Hamilton just nodded. Zicho who saw his father nodding just like that immediately looked at him sharply as a form of protest.
Zicho was forced to go home and leave Hanna at the minimarket.
"Dad! This father is trying to help me, isn't he?" Zicho asked annoyed.
"What help? From the beginning I had no intention of helping you. I'm just curious about the girl" said Hamilton.
Zicho could only cook a puzzled expression.
"You didn't realize it, did you? From some side, his face was similar to that of your late mother." Obviously Hamilton while looking at a picture of his wife on the mobile screen.
Sometimes he rubbed the photo with a smile full of longing for the wife. Zicho did not dare to speak a word while Hamilton was talking about his late mother.
